La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'une unité de réglage destinée à un véhicule automobile, l'unité servant à régler une pièce de véhicule automobile, et le procédé comprenant les opérations suivantes : mise à disposition d'au moins une source de rayonnement qui permet la production d'un rayonnement laser pouvant être employé pour réaliser des soudures au laser; mise à disposition d'au moins une partie boîtier de l'unité de réglage qui se compose au moins en partie d'un matériau non perméable au rayonnement laser issu de la source de rayonnement (matériau non transparent); mise à disposition d'au moins une autre partie boîtier de l'unité de réglage qui se compose au moins en partie d'un matériau perméable au rayonnement laser issu de la source de rayonnement (matériau transparent); mise en place d'autres composants fonctionnels de l'unité de réglage sur au moins l'une des parties boîtier de sorte que ceux-ci se trouvent agencés dans ou sur le boîtier qui se compose des parties boîtier; liaison des parties boîtier entre elles, le boîtier et la source de rayonnement étant positionnés l'un par rapport à l'autre de sorte que le rayonnement émis par la source traverse la zone du boîtier perméable au rayonnement pour atteindre une zone du boîtier non perméable au rayonnement (donc absorbant le rayonnement), ce qui permet la liaison entre deux zones adjacentes des parties boîtier; et positionnement du boîtier et de la source de rayonnement de sorte que le rayonnement laser émis par la source de rayonnement pénètre à l'intérieur du boîtier en traversant une zone perméable au rayonnement et y assure la liaison du boîtier et d'au moins un composant fonctionnel de l'unité de réglage disposé dans le boîtier.
