Abstract

The foil is attached between an upper layer and a lower layer (2) and exhibits anti-slide characteristics, where the foil is assembled in foil strips (1). The length of the foil strip is greater than the width of the foil strip. The foil strips are arranged between the lower layer and the upper layer in such a manner that the strips cover maximally 60 percentage of a contact area of the lower layer using the upper layer. The width of the foil strips is about 150 millimeter. The foil is rolled-up on a rolling device whose roller width corresponds to the width of the strips.

Description

The invention relates to the use of a film for securing layered goods on a pallet against slipping.

Stackable goods are often grouped on pallets for transportation. The goods are stacked in layers on a pallet, with one layer comprising only one product or may consist of several juxtaposed goods.

In order to secure the individual layers during transport of the pallet against slipping, it is known to provide between the individual layers of anti-slip paper, by which the friction between two layers is increased. The paper is available in the form of single sheets. The dimensions of the individual sheets correspond to the dimensions of the pallet, in a Europool range such. B. 1200 mm x 800 mm, thereby ensuring that a situation can always be completely covered with the anti-slip paper. However, the overhang of the paper arises in layers whose top does not correspond to the dimensions of the underlying pallet. Depending on the size of the pallet, storage, transport and use of large bows may also prove impractical and unwieldy.

From the EP 1 484 257 is the securing of stacks of goods known by means of rods, the rods are provided on both sides with double-sided adhesive tape. The FR 1 217 242 teaches the use of two interconnected adhesive strips for stacking bags. Moreover, from the US 5,895,540 the securing of stacks of goods by means of single-sided adhesive known. For this purpose, special arrangements of several strips of adhesive tape to each other, or the cutting of tabs taught in the tape. It is also from the CH 471 009 It is known to secure a stack of goods by means of a band which has an adhesive surface on one side and an adhesion surface on the other side. By way of example, the use of a fiber-reinforced paper tape is taught that is coated on the inside with rubber arabicum and provided on the outside with an adhesion surface.

The invention is based on the object to provide a way to secure arranged in layers goods on a pallet against slipping, which does not have the disadvantages known in the art or only to a lesser extent.

A solution to this problem is the subject of the main claim 1. A further solution to this problem is the subject of the independent claim 12. Advantageous further developments emerge from the respective subclaims.

In a use according to the invention of a film for securing goods arranged in layers on a pallet against slipping, the film having anti-slip properties is introduced between an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein the film is made up into strips and thus arranged on the lower layer in that it covers a maximum of 60% of the contact surface between the upper and lower layers. The term "contact surface" refers to the surface on which the upper and lower layers are in contact with each other in a load-transmitting manner. According to the invention, the film is preferably arranged in the edge region of this contact surface, so that for example. At the edge of a layer arranged cartons are secured against slipping or tilting and are thus secured by these marginal cartons middle cartons the same situation against slipping, even if they themselves possibly completely or partially directly and not rest with an interposed anti-slip film on the underlying layer.

In a further inventive use of a film for securing arranged in layers goods on a pallet against slipping is provided that one or more Goods are banded with a film to a stack of goods, wherein the film for the band is an anti-slip film.

The anti-slip film is flexible and preferably made of plastic or composite materials. Suitable plastics are, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC or the like. The thickness is preferably between 2 μm and 1 mm, preferably 10 μm or 20 μm to 1 mm. Preferred thicknesses are 30-80 μm. The foil can consist of several layers. For example. For example, a film-core imparting the necessary strength may be provided with anti-slip properties-imparting coatings or may be coextruded. A film has anti-slip properties if it sets or increases the coefficient of adhesion and / or sliding friction between two layers to a level sufficient for the intended application. It is particularly preferred if the film is composed of three layers, wherein the middle layer is formed as a tear-resistant carrier film and the outer layers ensure the anti-slip effect.

The term "lower layer" also includes the pallet itself, so that the use according to the invention of foil between the pallet (according to the invention this term encompasses any device on which goods can be stacked for storage and / or transport) and directly on the pallet resting layer of goods is covered by the invention.

The term "marginal or outer cartons or goods" are the goods referred to a situation to which in at least one direction by the overlying Location encumbered goods connects. It may be that the "outer product" is at the edge of the situation and joins in at least one horizontal direction no further goods; but it is also possible that it is a "non-peripheral" goods to an "outer product", provided that on this "outer product" a product of the overlying layer rests and next to this product, a product by the above lying layer is not loaded, is located. The latter may be the case, for example, if an upper layer does not have the same horizontal dimensions as the lower layer.

By "stack of goods" is meant a composite of goods in which the individual goods are separated by e.g. Banderolieren are firmly connected to each other. The term "stack of goods" but also the case is covered, in which only a single product is banded.

Due to the finishing of the film into strips, the application of the film, i. laying on a lower layer before the upper layer is placed simplifies because the strips are more manageable than a continuous sheet with the dimensions of the pallet. In addition, material can be saved because the lower layer does not have to be covered over the entire surface with an anti-slip paper. In addition to cost savings, this benefits the environment. The reuse of the film is facilitated because the risk of tearing a film strip is less than the tearing of a continuous sheet of paper in the size of the pallet.

Despite the saving of material, adequate protection against slippage is ensured. This is especially true for the short-distance transport of stacked pallet goods within a warehouse.

Since preferably the outer goods of two superimposed layers over the film rest on each other, a sufficient protection against tipping is guaranteed. Individual stacked outer goods - so-called columns - are preferably connected via the sandwiched between two layers of films with the adjacent columns. This means that preferably a foil strip extends in the plane between two layers over two or more such pillars and connects these pillars, so to speak, to a better secured against tilting unit.

It is particularly preferred if the contact area between two layers is covered by 20% to 50%, preferably 28% to 42% of the film. Covering in this ratio has proven to be sufficient to ensure protection against slippage.

The film strips preferably have a width of 50 to 350 mm, more preferably 100 to 250 mm, more preferably about 150 mm. By applying a corresponding number of film strips on the lower layer, the desired cover ratios can be achieved without the film having to be provided in unmanageable dimensions.

The film strips preferably have a length to width ratio of 1.5: 1 to 12: 1, preferably 2: 1 to 10: 1, more preferably 3: 1 to 8: 1, more preferably 4: 1 to 6: 1 ,

The film may be rolled up on a roll device, the roll width corresponding to the width of the film strip. In addition, a separating element can be provided on the roller device, which allows a separation of a film strip in any length. By a corresponding device, it is thus possible, regardless of the dimensions and / or the shape of the lower layer to obtain film strips with the lengths that are needed for the inventive use.

It can also be provided that the film is perforated at regular intervals. The perforation preferably runs in the direction of the width extension. If a correspondingly perforated foil is rolled up onto a roll whose width corresponds to the width of the foil strip, then the perforation runs parallel to the axis of the roll. Thanks to the perforation, it is possible to obtain strips of film with a length which corresponds to a multiple of the regular distance between two perforations. It is particularly preferred if the distance between two perforations 100 to 500 mm, preferably 200 to 400 mm, more preferably 300 mm.

The film strips preferably have a maximum length of 1200 mm. Up to this length easy handling is guaranteed. It is particularly preferred if the film strips have a length of 300 to 900 mm.

Das Flächengewicht der Folie beträgt vorzugsweise 20 bis 100 g/m2, weiter vorzugsweise 30 bis 80 g/m2, weiter vorzugsweise 40 bis 60 g/m2.The film preferably has a thickness of 10 to 100 μm, preferably 40 to 60 μm, more preferably 50 μm. The basis weight of the film is preferably 20 to 100 g / m 2 , more preferably 30 to 80 g / m 2 , more preferably 40 to 60 g / m 2 .

Slip protection is largely determined by the coefficient of friction between the film and the goods. According to the procedure defined in DIN EN ISO 8295, the coefficients of friction between film and corrugated board as well as film and board can be determined. It is preferred if the static coefficient of friction foil / corrugated as well. Foil / cardboard according to DIN EN ISO 8295 μ s ≥ 0.4, preferably ≥ 0.6, more preferably ≥ 0.8 and / or the dynamic friction coefficient μ D ≥ 0.4, preferably ≥ 0.5, more preferably ≥ 0 , 7 is.

If a stack of goods is banded with an anti-slip film, so that the stack of goods is at least partially covered with this anti-slip film on its surface, and corresponding product stacks are stacked on a pallet, then the stack is formed on the contact surfaces partially covered with anti-slip film of the stack a protection against slipping. The ends of the film band can, for example, be welded or glued.

It is particularly preferred if at least 5%, more preferably at least 10%, more preferably at least 15% of the top of the top goods of the stack of goods and / or the bottom of the bottom of the goods stack are covered by the film.

The band may have a width of 50 to 350 mm, preferably 100 to 250 mm, more preferably 150 mm.

With regard to further possible properties of the film used for banding, reference is made to the above statements on the film strips.

an embodiment of the use of a film for banding goods to a goods stack.

Fig. 1 shows in a plan view of a layer 2 of goods 3, the goods 3 are arranged side by side. The layer 2 is located on a pallet 5, not shown, and has the same dimensions as this pallet, namely 1,200 x 800 mm.

On the layer 2, two film strips 1 are arranged. The two film strips 1 have a width of 150 mm and are cut to a length of 900 mm. The film strips 1 are arranged so that when on the illustrated lower layer 2 still an upper layer 2 '(not shown) is placed with goods 3 of the same size, the film strips 1 between the two layers 2, 2' are clamped, and so in that each one of the goods 3 of the upper layer 2 'is in contact with a product 3 of the lower layer 2 over part of the film strip 1.

The surfaces of the film strips 1 are designed so that they develop an anti-slip effect. Due to this, the goods 3 of the upper layer 2 'are secured against slipping relative to the lower layer 2.

In this embodiment, about 28% of the surface of the layer 2 are covered by the film strip 1.

The embodiment in Fig. 2 is similar to that Fig. 1 , It is twice the number of goods 3 in the lower layer 2 is provided. On the arrangement of the film strip 1 must be compared to the embodiment Fig. 1 but nothing is changed, as continue when placing an upper layer 2 'with comparable goods 3 between each product 3 of the lower Layer 2 and the overlying goods 3 of the upper layer 2 'a piece of foil strip 1 is clamped. It is thus achieved the desired anti-slip effect.

Incidentally, it is possible for layers 2, 2 'to alternate with goods 3 from the first exemplary embodiment with layers 2', 2 from the second exemplary embodiment on a pallet. Likewise, a mixing of the goods 3 from the two mentioned embodiments within a single layer 2, 2 'is possible. Due to the arrangement of the film strip 1 ensures that a piece of foil strip 1 is always clamped between the goods 3 of the upper layer 2 'and the lower layer 2.

The film strips 1 in the second embodiment have in the direction of their length at a distance of 300 mm perforations. Because of these perforations 4, it is possible to separate from a film roll film strip 1 with a length whose multiple corresponds to the distance between the perforations 4. In the example shown, the film strips 1 have a length of 900 mm.

Auch hier beträgt die Abdeckung durch den Folienstreifen 1 28 % der Fläche der unteren Lage 2.Also in the third embodiment in Fig. 3 in which the layer 2 is formed of sixteen goods 3, the film strips 1 can be arranged as in the first two embodiments without loss of function. As well as between the first and the second embodiment, it is also possible that a layer 2, 2 'according to the third embodiment alternates on a pallet with one or more of the first exemplary embodiments on a pallet. Again, the coverage through the film strip 1 is 28% of the area of the lower layer. 2

In order to increase the safety against slippage of individual stacked layers 2, 2 'further, it may be provided to introduce further film strips 1 between the individual layers 2, 2'. In Fig. 4 is still a third film strip 1 provided on the layer 2 of the second embodiment. As a result, the cover by the film strips 1 is now 42% of the area of the layer 2, whereby an overall higher adhesion between two superimposed layers 2, 2 'is ensured.

For the arrangement of goods 3 in a layer 2 as in the third embodiment, there is also the possibility of assembly with film strips 1 as in Fig. 5 shown. The film strips 1 have in this embodiment, only the length of 600 mm, which is easy to reach due to the perforations 4: In contrast to 900 mm long film strip 1 is a 600 mm long film strip 1 only two instead of three 300 mm long sections. In the exemplary embodiment, the coverage through the film strips 1 is 38% of the area of the layer 2.

In the previous embodiments, each product 3 of the layer 2 was at least partially covered by a film strip 1. However, this is not absolutely necessary. In the embodiment Fig. 6 another alternative is shown.

In this embodiment, a distinction is made between outer goods 3 'and inner goods 3 ", in which case outer goods 3' are characterized by the fact that no further goods 3 are present on at least one side of the goods 3 ' followed. Thus, in this embodiment, the outer goods 3 'are goods 3 which are arranged on the outer edge of the layer 2.

According to the invention, it is sufficient if the outer goods 3 'are covered by film strips 1; the inner goods 3 "are held by the outer goods 3 'The film strips 1 can be arranged as shown, they have a length of 600 mm, because in the illustrated embodiment, the upper layer 2', on the lower layer 2 to lie comes, essentially the same dimensions as the lower layer 2 has.

If the upper layer 2 'does not have the same dimensions as the lower layer 2, outer goods 3' denote the goods which lie on the lower edge 2 on the outer edge of the bearing surface of the goods 3 of the upper layer 2 '. This circumstance is due to the embodiment in Fig. 7 clarified.

In this embodiment, the upper layer 2 'should rest only halfway on the lower layer 2. It may be, for example, eight with the comparable in the lower layer 2 goods 3. The goods of the upper layer 2 'then lie only on the goods 3 of the one half of the lower layer 2, which are all outer goods 3'. The film strips 1 are then arranged according to the above specifications on the outer goods 3 '.

The inventive use of film strip 1 is not only a protection against the slippage of the individual layers 2, 2 'guaranteed each other, but is also achieved protection against tilting. This should be based on the sketch in Fig. 8 be clarified.

Fig. 8 shows a loaded with goods 3 range 5 in side view, with only the outer goods 3 'can be seen. The goods 3 are stacked in several layers 2, with always a product 3 an upper layer 2 'rests exactly on a product 3 a lower layer 2. This creates "pillars" 6 of stacked goods.

According to the invention, film strips 1 (not shown) are provided between the individual layers 2, 2 ', the film strips 1 being arranged such that they each span two adjacent outer goods 3'. Since the film strips 1 are clamped between the outer goods 3 'of the unterschliedlichen layers 2, 2', it comes in the designated areas 7 to a connection between two adjacent columns 6, whereby the tilting of one of the two columns 6 shown is prevented.

In Fig. 9 It is shown how goods 3 can be banded to produce columns 8. For this purpose, the goods 3 are stacked and wrapped by a band 9 together so that the goods 3 are firmly connected together to form a composite.

The band 9 is made of a material with anti-slip properties. Since it extends over both the top and the bottom of the goods column 8, it is ensured that between two stacked merchandise columns 8 or between a goods column 8 with it or lying below, individual goods 3 is always guaranteed protection against slipping. Through the part of the band 9 On the sides of the goods column 8 also slipping against an adjacent goods column 8 can be prevented.

As a material for the film strip 1 and the band 9, a three-layer plastic film has proven to be advantageous. The middle layer serves as a carrier layer for the two outer layers, which in turn have corresponding coefficients of friction in order to be suitable for the use according to the invention.

Mit einer geeigneten Folie wurden gemäß der Prüfnorm DIN EN ISO 8295 in den Testfällen zwischen Folie und Wellpappe sowie Folie und Karton die folgenden Messwerte ermittelt: Materialpaarungen Reibungskoeffizient Statischer µS (Haftreibung) Dynamischer µD (Gleitreibung) Folie/Wellpappe
(in Wellenrichtung)
0,88-0,9 0,73-0,8
Folie/Wellpappe
(quer zur Wellenrichtung)
0,87-0,9 0,7-0,79
Folie/Faltschachtelkarton 0,81-0,9 0,79-0,87
The following measured values were determined with a suitable film in accordance with the test standard DIN EN ISO 8295 in the test cases between film and corrugated cardboard as well as film and cardboard: material pairings coefficient of friction Static μ S (static friction) Dynamic μ D (sliding friction) Film / corrugated
(in wave direction)
0.88 to 0.9 0.73 to 0.8
Film / corrugated
(transverse to the wave direction)
0.87 to 0.9 0.7 to 0.79
Film / folding boxboard from 0.81 to 0.9 0.79-0.87

Thus, in each case a static friction coefficient ≥ 0.8 and a dynamic friction coefficient ≥ 0.7 were achieved in the tests.
