Claims (6)
- A method for the handling of printing plates, wherein exposed and not yet bent printing plates are bent in the region of a bending device (17) subject to the formation of a leading end and a trailing end, wherein the exposed and bent printing plates (21), starting out from the bending device, are transported in the direction of a printing press, and wherein the printing plates transported in the direction of the printing press are mounted on form cylinders (15) of printing couples (11, 12) of the printing press, characterized in that each exposed and bent printing plate (21) in the region of the bending device (17) is gripped with the help of a grip rail (20) at the leading end or at the trailing end of said printing plate and in the state gripped by the grip rail is handed over to a transport device (28, 37, 38, 39) together with the grip rail, wherein the transport device transports the respective printing plate together with the grip rail in the direction of the printing press, and wherein the respective printing plate (21) in the region of the printing press is removed from the transport device together with the grip rail (20) and in the state gripped by the grip rail is made available to a form cylinder (15) of a printing couple (11, 12) of the printing press.
- The method according to Claim 1, characterized in that each bent printing plate in the region of a pivotable bending table (19) of the bending device (17) starting out from a horizontal position is pivoted into a transfer position in such a manner, that the respective printing plate (21) can be gripped via the grip rail (20) by the edge pivoted upwards, namely on the leading end of the trailing end of said edge, wherein the printing plate (21) so gripped is handed over to the transport device (28, 37, 38, 39) together with the grip rail in such a manner that a direct contact of the respective printing plate with the transport device is avoided.
- The method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each printing plate (21) gripped by the leading end or by the trailing end with the help of a grip rail (20) together with the grip rail is hooked in on a printing plate transport carriage (28) and with the help of the printing plate transport carriage is transported from the bending device (17) in the direction of the printing press.
- The method according to Claim 3, characterized in that a printing plate (21) to be mounted on a form cylinder of a printing couple (12) accessible from a hall floor is removed via the grip rail (20) from the printing plate transport carriage (28) and directly fed to the form cylinder (15) of the respective printing couple (12).
- The method according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that a printing plate (21) to be mounted on a form cylinder (15) of a printing couple (11) accessible from a gallery level (14) via the grip rail (20) is removed from the printing plate transport carriage (28), via a lifting device (37) is lifted to the level of the respective gallery level and subsequently fed to the form cylinder (15) of the respective printing couple (11).
- The method according to any one of the Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a printing plate (21) is register-correctly gripped by a grip rail (20) in the region of a bending table (19), and during the entire transport remains register-correctly received in the grip rail (20) and in that the printing plate (21) register-correctly received in the grip rail is register-correctly handed over to the printing couple (11, 12), namely page register-correctly and diagonally register-correctly.
