Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention relates to a protective hood locking device according to the preamble of claim 1.

From the EP 812 657 A1 already an angle grinder with adjustable protective hood is known. In this case, the guard is rotatably mounted on a nozzle of a flange of the angle grinder and releasably secured with only a single positive locking means. The flange will pass centrally from the spindle of the angle grinder. At its free end, the spindle carries a separating or grinding disk, which can be tensely tensioned, for cutting and machining workpieces, which is partially encompassed by the protective hood. In this case, the protective hood on the handheld power tool is to be positioned so that it can be adjusted in a rotational manner such that the area of the grinding wheel facing the user is encompassed by the protective hood. At the same time, an area of the grinding wheel pointing away from the user towards the workpiece engagement projects radially beyond the flange.

The invention according to claim 1 is based on a protective hood locking device for a hand tool, in particular for an angle grinder, with a protective hood unit having a protective hood, wherein the protective hood positively and / or non-positively coupled with a machine neck of a power tool and thus drehfestlegbar, and a fuse unit with at least one securing element, the is provided together with the protective hood unit for protection in the case of a bursting tool, wherein the securing element is at least partially formed by an additional protective cover to the protective hood. In a regular operation of a hand-held power tool or in a switched-off operating mode of the handheld power tool, the protective cover is preferably arranged in the rest position within the guard locking device or the protective hood unit.

If, in addition, the protective cover is arranged at least partially on a side of the protective hood facing a tool, a space-saving arrangement can advantageously be achieved and / or a pulse or kinetic energy of a tool part thrown outwards and striking the protective cover can advantageously be moved or moved. to achieve rotation of the guard from a rest position to a secure position. It should be understood in particular "arranged on the protective hood" that the protective cover forms a mounting unit with the protective hood during assembly of the protective hood unit with the power tool.

In an advantageous development of the invention, it is proposed that the guard locking device has at least one guide element which is provided for a movable mounting of the protective cover, whereby in particular a targeted movement or a targeted rotation of the protective cover from a rest position into a safety position to protect the operator can be achieved before a bursting tool.

It is also proposed that the guide element is at least partially formed integrally with the protective hood unit, which advantageously further components, space, installation costs and costs can be saved.

It is also proposed that the protective hood unit has a protective collar which surrounds a receiving area for a hand tool by at least 270 ° in a circumferential direction, whereby an advantageous attachment of the guard unit in the case of a bursting tool on the power tool can be achieved.

Furthermore, an at least partially captive guidance of the protective cover in a circumferential direction can be achieved if the protective hood collar is at least partially formed by the guide element.

It is also proposed that the protective hood collar is formed at least partially stepped, whereby an advantageous and in particular torsion-proof attachment of the protective hood unit or the protective hood on the power tool in a first stage and a simultaneous possibility a leadership of the protective cover in a movement or rotation in a backup position can be achieved by means of the protective hood collar in a second stage.

A secure arrangement of the protective cover in a secure position and thus a particularly advantageous securing position of the protective hood unit in the case of a bursting tool for an operator in front of the operator thrown tool parts, can be achieved when the guard has a receiving area for a tool and the protective cover in one Secured together with the guard covering an angular range of at least 235 °, preferably of at least 270 ° and more preferably of substantially 360 ° of the receiving area. The term "substantially 360 °" is to be understood as meaning, in particular, an angular range of the recording range of 320 ° to 360 °.

Particularly advantageous, the invention comprises a hand tool for a rotating, preferably disc-shaped tool, with a machine housing having a flange or a machine neck on which a protective hood, in particular made of sheet metal, for covering the tool is releasably clamped, wherein the protective cover a Protective hood body has, which consists of a circular disk-shaped piece, in particular with an angled outer edge and has a central circular recess, at the edge of a protective hood or -kragen is formed, which carries a clamping band in an annular manner, which is contractible by means of a clamping means and wherein an acting between machine neck and protective rotation between guard and machine neck is arranged in the form of a profiling, wherein the protective cover on the clamping band and / or on the clamping means in its clamping position repeatedly positively and / or non-positively coupled with the machine neck and thus rotatable and can be brought to reach a release position except positive engagement and / or adhesion to the machine neck, the guard is then rotatable.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

In FIG. 1 is a hand tool machine system 40 with an angle grinder formed and shown only partially hand tool 12 and a protective hood device 10 with a protective hood unit 14. The hand tool 12 comprises a hand tool housing 42 and a receiving unit 44 for receiving the guard unit 14 or a tool 22 formed by a cutting disc, which is bolted to the power tool housing 42. From the receiving unit 44 protrudes on a side facing away from the power tool housing 42 side 46, a drive shaft 48 which is connectable at its free end 50 with the disc-shaped tool 22 and is rotatably driven about an axis 52. The protective hood unit 14 comprises a protective hood 16 and a locking unit 88. The protective hood 16 covers an angular range of the tool 22 of approximately 180 ° in an assembled state of the hand-held power tool system 40 and has for this purpose a semi-disc-shaped protective hood body 54 and a guard edge 56 which is initially vertical is aligned to the half-disc-shaped guard body 54 and then parallel to the half-disc-shaped guard body 54 in a radial direction 58 inwardly.

The protective hood device 10 has, in addition to the protective hood unit 14, a securing unit 18 with a securing element 20, which is provided together with the protective hood unit 14 or its protective hood 16 for protection in the case of a bursting tool 22. The securing element 20 is formed by an additional protective cover 24 for the protective cover 16 and covers an angular range of approximately 180 ° of the tool 22. The protective cover 24 is mounted on the protective cover 16 and for this purpose has a shape or a contour of the protective hood 16. The protective hood 16 has a receiving area 38 for receiving the tool 22, wherein the protective cover 24 is mounted on the protective hood 16 within the receiving area 38 or on a side 26 of the receiving area 38 facing the tool 22, so that the protective hood 16 in this case has an outer envelope for the protective cover 24 and the protective cover 24 forms an inner shell for the protective cover 16. In a rest position or in a position in a regular operation of the power tool 12, the protective cover 24 is arranged in an almost complete coverage with the protective cover 16 thereon ( FIGS. 1 and 2 ).

Furthermore, the protective cover 24 is movably mounted on the protective cover 16, so that the protective cover 24 in the case of a bursting tool 22 can receive a pulse of the protective hood unit 14 and the protective cover 24 striking tool part of the ruptured tool 22 and by means of the pulse in a securing position is movable. For this purpose, the protective hood unit 14 or the protective hood 16 has a protective hood collar 30, which encloses a receiving region 32 for receiving the handheld power tool 12 or the receiving unit 44 in a circumferential direction 34, 36 by 360 ° ( FIG. 1 and 2 ). The circumferential direction 34, 36 is circumferentially around the axis 52 of the drive shaft 48 and substantially aligned perpendicular to this. The protective hood collar 30 is designed to be stepped along the axis 52 and, in a partial region 60 facing the tool 22 or the receiving region 38 for the tool 22, has a larger cross-sectional area than a cross-sectional surface in a tool 22 or the receiving region 38 for the tool 22 remote portion 62 (see. FIG. 3 ). The partial area 60 with the larger cross-sectional area has, on a side 64 facing the receiving area 32 for the handheld power tool 12, a guide element 28 of the protective hood locking device 14, which is formed integrally with the protective hood collar 30. The guide element 28 is provided for a movable mounting of the protective cover 24 in the protective hood unit 14 and formed by a circumferential, extending in a radial direction 58 outwardly extending guide. The protective cover 24 is arranged rotatably about the axis 52 of the drive shaft 48 against the protective cover 16 and has for this purpose on each of a guide web 66 formed guide elements which are mounted in the guide groove, wherein in FIG. 3 only one guide bar 66 can be seen. As a result, the protective cover 24 is secured against undesired falling out of the protective hood unit 14 during a movement into a securing position and / or during operation of the power tool 12.

To secure the protective cover 24 in a regular operation in a rest position or in a position with a nearly complete coverage with the guard 16, the guard locking device 10 has a fuse unit, not shown, the undesirable movement of the protective cover 24 in the backup position in regular operation prevents the power tool 12. The fuse unit allows movement of the protective cover 24 in a direction of rotation 68 of the tool 22, depending on a pulse transmitted to the protective cover 24. If, in the case of a bursting tool 22, an outwardly thrown tool part strikes the guard unit 14, a pulse transmitted to the guard 24 exceeds a securing force of the securing unit 18 and the guard 24 moves in the direction of rotation 68 from its rest position to the guard Protection position turned.

In a securing position of the protective cover 24 together with the protective cover 16, the protective cover 24 and the protective cover 16 cover a complete angular range of the receiving region 38 of the tool 22 from 360 °. In order to prevent further rotation of the protective cover 24 in the securing position in the direction of rotation 68 of the tool 22, the protective hood securing device 10 has a stop unit 70 which permits rotation of the protective cover 24 ended in the direction of rotation 68 after reaching the securing position. The stop unit 70 has two stop elements formed by a respective latching element 72, 74, wherein one is arranged on a radially inwardly directed side 76 of the protective hood rim 56 and on a side 78 of the protective cover 24 facing the protective hood edge 56. In addition, the protective hood edge 56 has a stop element 80 in the direction of rotation 68 after the latching element 72, wherein the stop element 80 and the latching element 72 are arranged on an edge region 82 of the protective hood edge 56 pointing opposite to the direction of rotation 68. The latching element 74 of the protective cover 24 is arranged on an edge region 84 pointing in the direction of rotation 68. By means of the stop element 80, a rotational movement of the protective cover 24 is stopped in the direction of rotation 68 and by means of the two latching elements 72, 74 prevents rotation due to a return pulse back into the rest position.

The partial region 62 of the protective collar 30 with the smaller cross-sectional area is surrounded in the radial direction 58 to the outside by a tension band 86 of the closure unit 88, wherein the protective collar collar 30 and the tension band 86 are connected to one another by means of a welded connection (FIG. FIGS. 1 to 3 ). Together with the clamping band 86, the protective hood collar 30 is provided for fastening the protective hood unit 14 to the handheld power tool 12 or to the receiving unit 44, which has a cylindrical receiving flange 90 for this purpose. In addition, the partial region 62 with the smaller cross-sectional area along the axis 52 of the drive shaft 48 is designed to be slotted so that a cross-sectional area for achieving the frictional connection between the protective hood collar 30 on the receiving flange 90 can be effectively reduced by means of the tension band 86. In addition, the tension band 86 has two end regions 92, 94, which extend in the radial direction 58 to the outside. The two end regions 92, 94 each have a recess 96 through which engages a closure element of the closure unit 88 (not shown) and formed by a clamping screw (cf. FIG. 1 ). The protective hood 16 is fastened by means of the closure unit 88 to the receiving unit 44 or to the receiving flange 90 due to a frictional connection between the protective hood collar 30 or the clamping band 86 and the receiving flange 90 in a working position. In principle, in an alternative embodiment of the closure unit 88, it is always conceivable to use further closure elements, such as, for example, a tensioning lever and / or form-locking elements, etc., instead of the tensioning screw.

In FIG. 4 an alternative embodiment of the protective hood device 10 is shown with a protective hood unit 14. The protective hood unit 14 has a protective hood 16 a protective hood collar 30, which has a constant cross-sectional area along an axis of a drive shaft. On a side facing a receiving region 38 of a tool 98, the protective hood 16 has a guide element 28 which serves to guide a protective cover 24 of a securing unit 18. The guide element 28 is arranged on a receiving region 38 facing edge region 100 of a guard body 54 of the protective cover 16 and extends along the axis of the drive shaft. In addition, the guide element 28 is annular and has a guide groove 104 on a radially outward-facing side 102, in which the protective cover 24 is movably mounted or a guide element 106 of the protective cover 24 is guided. The guide member 106 and the guide groove 104 are formed L-shaped, so that the protective cover 24 is secured against falling out upon rotation into a securing position or in an operation of a power tool.

In an alternative embodiment of the protective hood securing device 10, which is not illustrated here, it is also conceivable for the securing unit 18 or the protective cover 24 to be formed by a plurality of securing elements, which are arranged successively in the circumferential direction, for example, and / or by a collapsible securing element are mounted movably on the protective hood 16. The securing elements or the securing element can be brought or moved by means of a pulse of a hit on the protective cover 24 tool part of a broken tool 22 in the securing position or moved. The securing elements are also preferably connected to each other by means of a respective driving element, so that all fuse elements of the securing unit 18 can be brought into the securing position or moved during a momentum transfer from a striking a fuse element tool part of a ruptured tool 22.
