Komplexe Druckerzeugnisse bestehen beispielsweise aus mehreren Druckbogen, eingeklebten Karten und/oder Warenmustern, Bogen, die an der offenen Seite eingebunden werden sollen oder Bogen mit einem letzten Falz am Kopf. Alle von Standard-Druckbogen resp. einfach zu verarbeitenden Druckbogen abweichende komplizierte Druckbogen erfordern für die Verarbeitung dafür ausgebildete Anleger, wobei auch die Lage dieser Anleger entlang der Fördervorrichtung von der Ausführungsform, der vorgegebenen Form resp. dem Inhalt des zu fertigenden Druckerzeugnisses bestimmt wird. Das Untergestell besteht aus fabrikations-, transport- und montagetechnischen Gründen aus mehreren aneinandergereihten Untergestellteilen. Es besteht der Anspruch, diese elementartige Bauart der bekannten Einrichtung und ihr Einsatz aufgrund des hohen Aufwandes wirtschaftlicher zu nutzen. Zur Verarbeitung von Standard-Druckbogen sind Zusammentragmaschinen bekannt, die identische, in Förderrichtung betrachtet aneinandergereihte Maschinenelemente aufweisen. Jeder der auf einem Untergestell 5 aufgesetzten Anlegereinheit 3 ist ein zur Energie- und Steuerungsversorgung ausgebildeter Schnittstellenabschnitt 6 zugeordnet. Jedes Untergestell 5 weist für jeden Schnittstellenabschnitt 6 eine Schnittstelle 18 und einen seiner Länge entsprechenden Abschnitt an der Fördervorrichtung 2 auf. Die am Untergestell 5 angeordnete Fördervorrichtung 2 wird im Wesentlichen durch einen horizontalen Kanal 15 mit an einem umlaufenden Zugmittel 16 befestigten Mitnehmern 4 gebildet, wobei die Mitnehmer 4 während dem Sammelvorgang die Druckbogen 22 in Förderrichtung F durch den Kanal 15 schieben. Die oberhalb der Fördervorrichtung 2 angeordneten Anlegereinheiten 3 transportieren die Druckbogen 22 etwa gleichsinnig zur Förderrichtung F. Eine Anlegereinheit 3 umfasst mehrere Anleger 19, eine Bedieneinheit 17 und eine aus zwei aneinanderstossenden Teilen gebildete Schnittstelle 18. Dadurch ist nicht für jeden einzelnen Anleger 19 eine vollständige Infrastruktur erforderlich, sondern es kann die in der Anlegereinheit 3 vorhandene Infrastruktur durch mehrere Anleger 19 gemeinsam genutzt werden. Bei der Schnittstelle 18 und der Bedieneinheit 17 ist dies offensichtlich. Bei taktsynchron arbeitenden Anlegern 19 lassen sich die Sauger, Greifer und die Rückhalter innerhalb einer Anlegereinheit 3 mit jeweils einem Antrieb gemeinsam antreiben. In Fig. 11 ist wiederum die Sammeleinrichtung 20 Typ II gemäss Fig. 7 dargestellt, mit dem Unterschied, dass anstelle einer Anlegereinheit 3 ein mit einer Adaptiervorrichtung 7 verbundener Spezial-Anleger 12 der Sammeleinrichtung I nach Fig. 1 aufgesetzt ist. Die Adaptiervorrichtung 7 weist an der Unterseite eine zur Schnittstelle 18 kompatible Schnittstelle auf und ist an der Oberseite zur Befestigung von Anlegern 11,12,13,14 nach einer Anordnung ausgebildet, die von der Schnittstellenanordnung der Schnittstelle 18 abweicht. Die Schnittstelle 18 weist beispielsweise Mittel für das Ausrichten und Befestigen von Anlegereinheiten 3 oder Adaptiervorrichtungen 7, Anschlüsse für das Zu- oder Abführen von Stoffen, wie Luft oder Schmiermittel, Anschlüsse für die Zufuhr von Energie und den Austausch von Steuersignalen auf. An ihrer Oberseite weist die Adaptiervorrichtung 7 eine gleiche Anlegerschnittstelle 10 auf, wie die Untergestellteile der Sammeleinrichtung 1 Typ I und hat vorzugsweise etwa die Länge eines Schnittstellenabschnitts 6. In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform kann die Adaptiervorrichtung 7 als die Druckbogen 22 überführendes Förderelement zwischen Anleger 11,12,13,14 und Fördervorrichtung 2 ausgebildet sein und für deren Antrieb erforderliche Antriebsmittel aufweisen. Eine zwischen die beiden Schnittstellen der Adaptiervorrichtung 7 geschaltete Steuervorrichtung 21 ist für die Steuerung der Adaptiervorrichtung 7 und für den Austausch von Steuersignalen mit Anlegern 11,12,13,14 und der Schnittstelle 18 des Untergestells 5 vorgesehen. Vereinfacht gesagt verhält sich die Steuervorrichtung 21 der Adaptiervorrichtung 7 gegenüber einem Anleger 11,12,13,14 Typ I so, als befinde sich letzterer auf einem Untergestellteil für eine Sammeleinrichtung 1 Typ I und sie verhält sich gegenüber dem Untergestell 5 des Typs II so, als sei eine Anlegereinheit 3 der Sammeleinrichtung 20 Typ II aufgesetzt.
