Claims (8)

  1. Tool (18) for roller burnishing a toroidal fillet (16a) between a cylindrical face (19) defining the bottom of an annular groove (14) in a revolving part (12) and a first lateral annular face (17a) bordering the groove (14), comprising in a casing (30) a wheel (52) pressing on a roller (40) whose rolling force on the groove has a radial component and a component along the axis (B-B) of the wheel (52), characterized in that it comprises at least one stop component (58) able to press on a second lateral annular face (17b) of the groove (14) so as to counterbalance the reaction force of the axial component of the rolling force exerted by the roller (40) on the fillet (16a).
  2. Tool (18) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the stop component (58) is a barrel whose axis of revolution is perpendicular to the axis (B-B) of the wheel (52).
  3. Tool (18) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the stop component (58) is mounted so as to rotate freely about its axis with respect to the casing (30).
  4. Tool (18) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the stop component (58) is a tapered barrel.
  5. Tool (18) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the wheel (52) comprises a second annular rolling portion (60) that is able to engage with a complementary annular portion (59) on the stop component (58), so that the stop component (58) is able to transmit an axial force to the wheel (52).
  6. Tool (18) according to Claim 5, characterized in that the annular rolling portion (60) of the wheel (52) and the annular rolling portion (59) of the stop component (58) engage with each other by friction.
  7. Tool (18) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of stop components (58).
  8. Roller burnishing machine characterized in that it comprises a tool in accordance with one of the preceding claims.
