Definitions
- the invention relates to an operating table top, comprising one or more base sections and one or more further modules, wherein the modules and base sections are adjustable relative to each other and wherein the modules are formed detachable from the operating table top.
- EP 0 917 687 A1 discloses an operating table top which has a base section which is connected to the support column and a plurality of further table top sections which are pivotably mounted on the base section, in particular a horizontal pivot axis. In this way, resting on the operating table top patient can be brought in each case in the most favorable position for the operation.
- additional modules can be coupled to such an operating table top, which are also adjustable. In this way, the operating tables can be extended if necessary.
- Computer tomography should be taken to then continue the operation or perform another operation based on the result.
- the patient must be rearranged at least twice, namely from the operating table to the tomography pad and back to the operating table.
- the task is to provide an operating table top available that can serve both as an operating table support with multiple adjustment and as a support that can be inserted into an X-ray or tomography device.
- an operating table top consisting of one or more base sections and one or more modules, wherein the modules and the base sections are mutually adjustable and wherein the modules are formed detachable from the operating table top, the modules further against the Base sections releasably connectable additional support surfaces are interchangeable and wherein the operating table top with coupled additional support surfaces for insertion into an X-ray machine, a magnetic resonance and / or computed tomography and the preparation of X-ray, magnetic resonance or computed tomography recordings is suitable.
- the invention relates to an operating table system comprising the described operating table top and said additional support surfaces and an operating table consisting of an operating table top and a support column on which the operating table top is mounted.
- the central idea of the invention is to use an operating table top, in which the modules, which are located at the base sections of the operating table top and provide the plurality of adjustment possibilities of the entire operating table top, are fastened to the base sections in such a way that they are easily removed and re-connected can.
- the modules are exchanged for additional support surfaces on which the patient, in particular his extremities, then comes to rest.
- the additional support surfaces usually offer no or only slight adjustment, but have the advantage in contrast to the modules that they X-ray, magnetic resonance and / or
- Computed tomography are compatible.
- the additional support surfaces can be removed again after the recordings and exchanged for the modules, so that then again a fully functional operating table is available.
- the surgical table top will be composed of one or more base sections upon which the actual trunk of the patient will rest, ie, approximately from the shoulder to the buttocks.
- the adjustable modules which are coupled to the base section, serve primarily the support of the head, arms and legs. If such an adjustable module is exchanged for an additional support surface, the arm or the leg must be supported at short notice, for example, at short notice, until the additional support surface is coupled to the base portion.
- the actual trunk of the patient remains unchanged on the one or the other Base sections lie. A reburial of the patient is no longer necessary.
- the additional support surfaces must be suitable for the production of x-ray, magnetic resonance or computed tomography images. Depending on the purpose of the operating table top while a suitability for one of these devices is sufficient, but expediently, the additional support surfaces for all listed devices are suitable. The same applies to other medical examination devices.
- the additional support surfaces and / or the base portions that remain on the operating table top are made of a diamagnetic material or a slightly paramagnetic material, so that the applied magnetic field is not or at most slightly distorted.
- the magnetic susceptibility constant X m should be similar to that of the examined tissue, ie close to zero.
- the susceptibility constant should be at least ⁇ 100, preferably ⁇ 10.
- the use of ferromagnetic materials which have significantly higher susceptibility constants, such as, for example, steel, is generally undesirable.
- annular metal structures are undesirable in magnetic resonance imaging, since currents can be induced therein, which in turn distort the magnetic field. Accordingly, neither the additional support surfaces nor the base portions should contain such annular metal structures. Ideally, the use of metals is entirely or largely dispensed with in the additional support surfaces and / or the base sections. Metals are also rather undesirable when using the operating table top in X-ray machines or computer tomographs, because metals are poorly or in part not at all radiopaque. In principle, as much as possible X-ray transparent material should be used.
- materials such as plastic, foam, rubber, textile materials or wood are suitable for the additional support surfaces and the base sections, wherein in any case it is additionally necessary to ensure that the materials are indeed MRI- or X-ray-compatible.
- Corresponding materials are known to the person skilled in the art in principle.
- the additional support surfaces can be fixed to the base sections, for example, via rails, by means of recesses and recesses tuned to the pins, or via a tongue and groove system.
- Other options include the use of hooks and matching eyelets or the use of Velcro or zippers.
- Also in these means for establishing a connection between the additional support surfaces and the base sections MR or X-ray capability is of particular importance. Accordingly, approximately telescoping rails or plug-in pins and recesses should not be made of metal, but, for example, from a suitable plastic as possible.
- the connection should be made relatively quickly to allow rapid replacement of the modules against the additional support surfaces. This facilitates the work of the medical staff and increases the comfort for the patient. After all, the time factor is crucial in some medical treatments.
- the invention also relates to an operating table, comprising an operating table top, as described above, and a support column on which the operating table top is mounted.
- the support column is usually in direct contact with the base section.
- the support column may also have control elements, an electric drive for the purpose of adjusting the operating table, a power source and the like. In this case, then an electrical connection via cable, contact surfaces o. ⁇ .
- To the adjustable modules must exist.
- the control of the operating table is often also via a remote control. So that the operating table top can be inserted separately into an X-ray machine or a tomograph, it makes sense for the operating table top to be detachable from the support column. Possibly.

- Fig. 4 shows the cultivation of the additional support surfaces of the inventive operating table top in plan view
- Fig. 5 shows the operating table according to the invention in plan view with attached additional support surfaces.
- an inventive operating table 1 is shown schematically, consisting of a bottom plate 2, a support column 3 and an operating table top 4. While the patient comes to rest on the operating table top 4, the support column 3 contains, among other things controls and controls.
- the operating table top 4 according to the invention is shown in plan view.
- the operating table top 4 consists of three base sections 5 for the shoulder, back and buttocks of the patient. Furthermore, 5 modules 6 are coupled to the base sections, which serve the support of the head, the arms and the legs. The modules 6 have a number of adjustment options relative to the base sections 5a or even within the modules 6 themselves.
- FIG. 3 shows how the modules 6 can be removed from the base sections 5 of the operating table top 4.
- the modules 6 are led away from the base sections 5 in accordance with the arrows 7.
- the connection of the modules 6 and the base sections 5 should be designed so that both the coupling and the removal of the modules 6 can be done relatively quickly. Electrical connections can be made for example via corresponding contact surfaces.
- the additional support surfaces 8 can be coupled to the operating table top 4, as shown schematically in FIG. 4 corresponding to the arrows 9.
