Figur 1 zeigt die Wischplatte 2 eines Flachwischers 1. Dabei sind die Wellenberge jeweils etwa der Mitte jedes Wischplattenteils 5, 6 zugeordnet und ein Wellental ist der Mitte der Wischplatte 2 und den Ecken 9, 10 zugeordnet. In der Mitte der Wischplatte 2 befindet sich auch eine Aufnahme 15, um die Wischplatte 2 gelenkig mit einem Stiel verbinden zu können. Beide Wischplattenteile 5, 6 sind durch ein Verriegelungselement 12 scharnierartig miteinander verbunden, so dass die Wischplattenteile 5, 6 zueinander klappbar sind. Das Verriegelungselement 12 ist kippbeweglich an einem Wischplattenteil 6 angebracht und übergreift einen Abschnitt des anderen Wischplattenteils 5 und verhindert dadurch ein selbsttätiges Schwenken der Wischplattenteile 5, 6. Durch Kippen des Verriegelungselementes 12 wird der Abschnitt freigegeben und es ist dadurch ein Schwenken der Wischplattenteile 5, 6 ermöglicht. Figur 3 zeigt im Detail ein Wischplattenteil 6 gemäß Figur 1 oder 2. Es ist gezeigt, dass dem Verriegelungselement 12 ein Federkörper 13 bestehend aus einem Elastomerkörper so zugeordnet ist, dass das Verriegeln der Wischplattenteile 5, 6 gegen die Kraft des Federkörpers 13 erfolgt. Dazu sind auf dem Wischplattenteil 6 zwei Federkörper 13 im Bereich des Verriegelungselementes 12 angeordnet. Diese Federkörper 13 bestehen aus halbkugelförmigen Gummikörpern. Wenn die Wischplattenteile 5, 6 durch das Verriegelungselement 12 verriegelt sind, werden die an dem Wischplattenteil 6 angeordneten Federkörper 13 komprimiert und die Federkörper 13 üben eine Kraft auf das andere Wischplattenteil 5 aus. Auf die Wischplatte 2 ist ein Wischbezug mit Taschen (nicht dargestellt) aufspannbar, wobei der Wischbezug die Reinigungsseite 3 bedeckt und damit mit den Rippen 7 in Eingriff gelangt. Die Wischplatte 2 weist die Form eines Trapezes auf, wobei die der längeren Längsseite 8 zugeordneten Ecken 9, 10 der Wischplatte 2 abgebogen sind und damit die Form von Winglets aufweisen. Des Weiteren ist die der Reinigungsseite 3 abgewandte Seite 14 der Wischplatte 2 so ausgebildet, dass sich eine Wellenstruktur ergibt. Dabei sind die Wellenberge jeweils etwa der Mitte jedes Wischplattenteils 5, 6 zugeordnet und ein Wellental ist der Mitte der Wischplatte 2 und den Ecken 9, 10 zugeordnet. Auf der Reinigungsseite 3 ist eine Rückhalteeinrichtung 11 angeordnet, die aus vier Elastomerkörpern aus Gummi besteht, wodurch die Rückhalteeinrichtung 11 ein kraftschlüssiges Wirkprinzip aufweist. Ein Verriegelungselement 12 ist kippbeweglich an einem Wischplattenteil 6 angebracht und übergreift einen Abschnitt des anderen Wischplattenteils 5 und verhindert dadurch ein selbsttätiges Schwenken der Wischplattenteile 5, 6. Dieser Abschnitt wiederum übergreift im geschlossenen Zustand der Wischplatte 2 auch das Zwischenstück 16. Durch Kippen des Verriegelungselementes 12 wird der Abschnitt freigegeben und es ist dadurch ein Schwenken der Wischplattenteile 5, 6 um das Zwischenstück 16 ermöglicht. Die Wischplatte 2 besteht aus Kunststoff und die Herstellung erfolgt im Spritzgießverfahren.
