Definitions
- the invention relates to a cleaning textile comprising a cleaning side with a cleaning surface which is delimited on the outer circumference by an edge.
- Such a cleaning textile is from U.S. 2,366,877 A known.
- the known cleaning textile viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, has a greater pile density in the center than on the edge.
- cleaning textiles are generally known, for example from WO 2005/110182 A1 , the GB 2 004 735 A or the US 2010/263152 A1 .
- they can be designed as cleaning covers for flat mops or as mop heads.
- the cleaning surfaces of the previously known cleaning textiles mostly have a uniform pile density overall, that is to say also viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textiles.
- the invention is based on the object of further developing a cleaning textile of the previously known type in such a way that a uniform cleaning result is achieved with increased central pressure of the cleaning surface on a surface to be cleaned in the wiping direction.
- the dirt pick-up should also be uniform under these conditions, viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, as should the mechanical load that acts on the cleaning surface as a result of wiping.
- a cleaning textile comprising a cleaning side with a cleaning surface which is delimited on the outer circumference by an edge, the cleaning surface being transverse to the wiping direction of the Considered cleaning textile, has a lower pile density in the middle than on the edge.
- the advantage here is that the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, can be pressed centrally against the surface to be cleaned by a greater contact pressure than on the edge, although the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, produces a more even cleaning result for the surface to be cleaned Surface causes.
- the cleaning textile is, for example, a cleaning cover for a flat mop
- the contact pressure viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, is greatest in the center of the flat mop. This is due to the fact that the handle of the flat mop with which the user guides the flat mop over the surface to be cleaned is arranged in this central area on the side of the cleaning textile facing away from the cleaning side.
- the cleaning surface has three cleaning zones which are arranged in a functional series connection in the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, the first cleaning zone at the front in the wiping direction having a first cleaning pile with a first pile height and a first pile density, the middle one second cleaning zone a second cleaning pile with a second pile height and a second pile density and the rear third cleaning zone a third cleaning pile with a third pile height and a third pile density, the second cleaning zone in the middle in the wiping direction, based on the front first and rear third cleaning zone in the wiping direction, each has a relatively larger second pile height and a respective lower second pile density and wherein each cleaning zone, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, has a lower pile density in the middle than on the edge side.
- Such a cleaning textile is particularly advantageous when it is used as a cleaning cover for a flat mop.
- the following is carried out for the function: Mainly through the second cleaning zone, contaminants are removed from the surface to be cleaned and then taken up in the second cleaning zone.
- the absorption of impurities in the second cleaning zone is simplified by the fact that the second pile height is greater than the first and third pile height and additionally in that the second pile density is less than the first and third pile density.
- the dirt is wiped over largely unhindered when wiping in the wiping direction, for example from the front first cleaning zone, until it is released from the surface to be cleaned by the second cleaning zone and taken up in the second cleaning zone.
- the rear third cleaning zone ensures that even very small contaminants left by the second cleaning zone are carried away from the surface to be cleaned, thereby achieving a streak-free cleaning result.
- the first and the third cleaning pile can each comprise microfibers.
- Microfibers are particularly suitable for binding even the smallest impurities and thus removing them from the surface to be cleaned without leaving streaks.
- the second cleaning web can, if necessary, comprise microfibers and abrasive fibers.
- Such a second cleaning pad can be advantageous for cleaning heavily soiled surfaces. As a result, heavier soiling is better loosened from the surface to be cleaned and then taken up in the relatively higher cleaning pile and the relatively lower pile density of the second cleaning zone.
- Each pile density, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, can be steadily increased from the respective center of each cleaning zone to the respective edge.
- the advantage here is that the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile also has a uniform cleaning performance transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile when a user of the cleaning textile, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, is centered Cleaning zones apply the greatest contact pressure to the cleaning surface. Due to the increasing pile density of the respective cleaning zones in the direction of the respective edges, the steadily reduced contact pressure in the direction of the respective edges is essentially compensated, so that a uniform cleaning result is achieved despite the unevenly loaded cleaning surface.
- the ratio of the central pile density to the edge pile density of each cleaning zone can be ⁇ 0.8. Such a ratio has proven to be particularly advantageous when the cleaning textile is used as a cleaning cover for a flat wiper. With such a ratio, the edge-side pile density of each cleaning zone is dimensioned in such a way that the cleaning performance of the edge-side areas essentially corresponds to the cleaning performance of the central area of the cleaning textile when the central area is pressed more strongly against the surface to be cleaned by a handle of a flat mop.
- the front, first and rear, third cleaning zones can be designed to be identical.
- the advantage here is that the cleaning surface is designed symmetrically to the second cleaning zone and can therefore be used in and against the wiping direction and has matching usage properties.
- the handling of the cleaning textile is simplified by this symmetry.
- the ratio of the second pile height to the first and / or third pile height is at least Is 1.2.
- the ratio is more preferably 1.5.
- the second pile height is sufficiently large so that contaminants can pass through the first or third cleaning zone in order to be taken up in the second cleaning zone.
- the second pile height is not so great that the second cleaning pile folds over undesirably during wiping and thereby adversely affects the cleaning result.
- the abrasive fibers in the second cleaning zone can have a second pile height that is relatively larger in relation to the first and third pile height. If the second cleaning zone also comprises microfibers in addition to the abrasive fibers, the microfibers in such a case can have the same pile height as the first or third pile height. Such a configuration results in an even more open structure of the second cleaning zone. This can be advantageous for taking up and holding contaminants in the second cleaning zone.
- the cleaning surface is preferably designed to be essentially rectangular.
- the cleaning surface can have two longitudinal sides extending transversely to the wiping direction and two transverse sides extending in the wiping direction, the longitudinal sides having a first extent which is greater than a second extent of the transverse sides.
- the ratio of the first extension to the second extension can be 2.
- Such cleaning textiles have good usage properties for most applications and they are easy to handle.
- At least one fastening device for fastening the cleaning textile to a carrier plate of a flat mop can be arranged.
- the fastening device can be formed by pockets and / or tabs and / or clips.
- the tabs can comprise snap fasteners for attachment to the carrier plate.
- Fastening devices for fastening a cleaning textile to carrier plates of flat wipers are generally known.
- the cleaning textile can be attached in such a way that the cleaning textile remains attached to only one side of the carrier plate during washing and wringing out or remains attached to both sides of the carrier plate and then, if the flat mop is, for example, a wing mop, U-shaped hangs down from the folded wings of the carrier plate to be washed out in a bucket and then wrung out in a wringer.
- the use of the cleaning textile as a cleaning cover for a flat mop is particularly advantageous.
- the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, is usually unevenly heavily loaded, so that this uneven load is compensated for by the lower pile density in the middle of the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction, in order to achieve a uniform cleaning result reach.
- the dirt absorption of the cleaning surface is largely constant, as is the mechanical load on the Cleaning surface when wiping, so that the entire cleaning surface has a consistently good and streak-free cleaning performance despite the uneven load from the contact pressure.
- FIG. 1 and 2 an embodiment of a cleaning textile is shown, which is used as a cleaning cover 29 for a flat mop, not shown here.
- the cleaning textile comprises the cleaning side 1 with the rectangular cleaning surface 2, which is delimited on the outer circumference by the edge 3.
- the cleaning surface 2 has three cleaning zones 4, 5, 6 which are arranged one behind the other in the wiping direction 7 of the cleaning textile.
- Each of the cleaning zones 4, 5, 6 has a cleaning pile 8, 11, 14 each with a pile height 9, 12, 15 and each with a pile density 10, 13, 16.
- the first 4 and third cleaning zones 6 are designed to match and are arranged essentially symmetrically to the second cleaning zone 5.
- the matching training relates to both the shape and the material.
- the first 8 and the third cleaning pile 14 each comprise microfibers.
- the second cleaning web 11 comprises a mixture of microfibers and abrasive fibers.
- the cleaning surface 2, viewed transversely to the wiping direction 7 of the cleaning textile, has a lower pile density 10, 13, 16 in the middle than on the edge. This ensures that the cleaning performance of the cleaning textile, viewed transversely to the wiping direction 7 of the cleaning textile, is consistently good in every sub-area of the cleaning surface 2 if the contact pressure, viewed transversely to the wiping direction 7 of the cleaning textile, is greater in the center than at the edge.
- a handle is arranged in the middle of a carrier plate (not shown) to which the cleaning cover for the flat mop is attached, which is pushed axially by the user in the direction of the surface to be cleaned.
- the central area of the cleaning surface is subjected to a greater contact pressure than the areas on the edge.
- the lower pile density 10, 13, 16 is provided in the center to compensate for this usually undesirable effect, in particular to make the cleaning result more even, as well as the consumption of the cleaning textile.
- the different cleaning zones 4, 5, 6 additionally have pile heights that differ from one another.
- the middle second cleaning zone 5 has a greater second pile height 12 than the cleaning zones 4, 6 adjoining it on both sides in the wiping direction 7 and also a lower second pile density 13.
- the larger second pile height 12, together with the comparatively open structure of the second cleaning zone 5, ensures that impurities from the surface to be cleaned first pass through the first 4 and third cleaning zone 6, into the second, middle one Reach cleaning zone and be held there.
- the third 6 or the first cleaning zone 4 is functionally connected downstream of the second cleaning zone 5 and ultimately ensures a streak-free cleaned surface.
- the ratio of the second pile height 12 to the first 9 and / or third pile height 15 is 1.3.
- Figure 1 a view of the cleaning textile from below onto the cleaning side 1 with the cleaning surface 2 is shown.
- the cleaning surface 2 is rectangular and delimited by the peripheral edge 3.
- the fastening devices 27, 28 for fastening the cleaning textile to a carrier plate of a flat wiper connect transversely to the wiping direction 7.
- the fastening devices 27, 28 are designed as rubber-elastic tabs and have press studs for fixing to a carrier plate.
- the tabs are folded around the transverse sides of the carrier plate and fastened, for example, to the top of the carrier plate with the push buttons.
- Figure 2 is a section through the embodiment according to Figure 1 shown along the line AA.
- the middle, second cleaning zone 5 with its second cleaning pile 11 and the second pile height 12 as well as the second pile density 13 is essentially in FIG Viewed in the wiping direction 7, it is convex and, viewed in the wiping direction 7, merges into the first 4 and third cleaning zones 6.
- the second cleaning pile 11 has a more open structure than the cleaning zones 4 and 6 due to the comparatively larger second pile height 12 and the lower pile density 13 and is therefore particularly well suited to absorbing and holding soiling.
- the section A-A viewed transversely to the wiping direction 7, runs centrally through the cleaning textile.
- the pile density 13 shown is lowest in the area of this section.
- the second pile density increases, as does the first pile density and the third pile density in each case, in order to be able to compensate for the reduced contact pressure in these areas, in such a way that the cleaning result of the cleaning textile, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, with the described use is practically consistently good.
Description
The invention relates to a cleaning textile comprising a cleaning side with a cleaning surface which is delimited on the outer circumference by an edge.
The cleaning surfaces of the previously known cleaning textiles mostly have a uniform pile density overall, that is to say also viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textiles.
With cleaning textiles that have a cleaning surface with an overall uniform pile density, a uniform wiping result can only be achieved on the surface to be cleaned if the contact force with which the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile is pressed onto the surface to be cleaned is evenly applied to the cleaning surface of the Cleaning textile is distributed.
In most cases this is not the case.
As soon as the contact pressure on the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile is unevenly distributed over the cleaning surface, but the pile density of the cleaning surface is the same in all sub-areas, a relatively stronger cleaning takes place through the sub-areas of the cleaning surface on which the contact force is relatively high and a relatively weaker cleaning the sub-areas of the cleaning surface on which the contact pressure is relatively low.
In addition, it is disadvantageous that the cleaning surface of such a cleaning textile itself is unevenly soiled and exposed to uneven wear due to the different levels of absorption of soiling.
The invention is based on the object of further developing a cleaning textile of the previously known type in such a way that a uniform cleaning result is achieved with increased central pressure of the cleaning surface on a surface to be cleaned in the wiping direction. The dirt pick-up should also be uniform under these conditions, viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, as should the mechanical load that acts on the cleaning surface as a result of wiping.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of
Auf vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen nehmen die Unteransprüche Bezug. The subclaims refer to advantageous configurations.
To achieve the object, a cleaning textile is provided, comprising a cleaning side with a cleaning surface which is delimited on the outer circumference by an edge, the cleaning surface being transverse to the wiping direction of the Considered cleaning textile, has a lower pile density in the middle than on the edge.
The advantage here is that the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, can be pressed centrally against the surface to be cleaned by a greater contact pressure than on the edge, although the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, produces a more even cleaning result for the surface to be cleaned Surface causes.
If the cleaning textile is, for example, a cleaning cover for a flat mop, the contact pressure, viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, is greatest in the center of the flat mop. This is due to the fact that the handle of the flat mop with which the user guides the flat mop over the surface to be cleaned is arranged in this central area on the side of the cleaning textile facing away from the cleaning side.
It has been shown that the pressing force on the cleaning surface is greatest in the axial extension of the handle, and relatively lower in the edge-side area, viewed transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile. Due to this uneven distribution of the contact pressure on the cleaning surface, a uniform cleaning result is only achieved if the pile density of the cleaning surface is not constant over the entire cleaning surface, as in the prior art, but is so different that the cleaning surface is transverse to the wiping direction of the Considered cleaning textile, has a lower pile density in the middle than on the edge. Due to the different pile densities of the cleaning surface, the different pressing forces that act on the cleaning surface are essentially balanced out, so that, despite the different pressing forces on the cleaning surface, the cleaning result is made more uniform. A uniform cleaning result is therefore achieved when wiping in the wiping direction at right angles to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile.
Due to the different pile densities adapted to the different contact forces, the mechanical stress on the cleaning surface is evened out, so that the cleaning textile has consistently good properties over a long period of use and at the end of its use is largely evenly contaminated and / or consumed over the entire cleaning surface.
According to an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the cleaning surface has three cleaning zones which are arranged in a functional series connection in the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, the first cleaning zone at the front in the wiping direction having a first cleaning pile with a first pile height and a first pile density, the middle one second cleaning zone a second cleaning pile with a second pile height and a second pile density and the rear third cleaning zone a third cleaning pile with a third pile height and a third pile density, the second cleaning zone in the middle in the wiping direction, based on the front first and rear third cleaning zone in the wiping direction, each has a relatively larger second pile height and a respective lower second pile density and wherein each cleaning zone, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, has a lower pile density in the middle than on the edge side.
Such a cleaning textile is particularly advantageous when it is used as a cleaning cover for a flat mop.
The following is carried out for the function:
Mainly through the second cleaning zone, contaminants are removed from the surface to be cleaned and then taken up in the second cleaning zone. The absorption of impurities in the second cleaning zone is simplified by the fact that the second pile height is greater than the first and third pile height and additionally in that the second pile density is less than the first and third pile density.
Due to the difference in height, the dirt is wiped over largely unhindered when wiping in the wiping direction, for example from the front first cleaning zone, until it is released from the surface to be cleaned by the second cleaning zone and taken up in the second cleaning zone.
If wiping is continued in the wiping direction, the rear third cleaning zone ensures that even very small contaminants left by the second cleaning zone are carried away from the surface to be cleaned, thereby achieving a streak-free cleaning result.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the first and the third cleaning pile can each comprise microfibers. Microfibers are particularly suitable for binding even the smallest impurities and thus removing them from the surface to be cleaned without leaving streaks.
The second cleaning web can, if necessary, comprise microfibers and abrasive fibers. Such a second cleaning pad can be advantageous for cleaning heavily soiled surfaces. As a result, heavier soiling is better loosened from the surface to be cleaned and then taken up in the relatively higher cleaning pile and the relatively lower pile density of the second cleaning zone.
Each pile density, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, can be steadily increased from the respective center of each cleaning zone to the respective edge. The advantage here is that the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile also has a uniform cleaning performance transversely to the wiping direction of the cleaning textile when a user of the cleaning textile, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, is centered Cleaning zones apply the greatest contact pressure to the cleaning surface. Due to the increasing pile density of the respective cleaning zones in the direction of the respective edges, the steadily reduced contact pressure in the direction of the respective edges is essentially compensated, so that a uniform cleaning result is achieved despite the unevenly loaded cleaning surface.
In general, there is also the possibility of increasing the pile density, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, in steps from the respective center of each cleaning zone to the respective edge.
The ratio of the central pile density to the edge pile density of each cleaning zone can be ≤ 0.8.
The front, first and rear, third cleaning zones can be designed to be identical. The advantage here is that the cleaning surface is designed symmetrically to the second cleaning zone and can therefore be used in and against the wiping direction and has matching usage properties. The handling of the cleaning textile is simplified by this symmetry.
According to an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the ratio of the second pile height to the first and / or third pile height is at least Is 1.2. The ratio is more preferably 1.5. On the one hand, the second pile height is sufficiently large so that contaminants can pass through the first or third cleaning zone in order to be taken up in the second cleaning zone. On the other hand, under such conditions, the second pile height is not so great that the second cleaning pile folds over undesirably during wiping and thereby adversely affects the cleaning result.
Only the abrasive fibers in the second cleaning zone can have a second pile height that is relatively larger in relation to the first and third pile height.
All cleaning zones, viewed in the wiping direction, can have the same width. The cleaning surface is preferably designed to be essentially rectangular. The cleaning surface can have two longitudinal sides extending transversely to the wiping direction and two transverse sides extending in the wiping direction, the longitudinal sides having a first extent which is greater than a second extent of the transverse sides.
The ratio of the first extension to the second extension can be 2. Such cleaning textiles have good usage properties for most applications and they are easy to handle.
On the top of the cleaning textile facing away from the cleaning side, at least one fastening device for fastening the cleaning textile to a carrier plate of a flat mop can be arranged. The fastening device can be formed by pockets and / or tabs and / or clips.
If tabs are used, the tabs can comprise snap fasteners for attachment to the carrier plate.
Fastening devices for fastening a cleaning textile to carrier plates of flat wipers are generally known. The cleaning textile can be attached in such a way that the cleaning textile remains attached to only one side of the carrier plate during washing and wringing out or remains attached to both sides of the carrier plate and then, if the flat mop is, for example, a wing mop, U-shaped hangs down from the folded wings of the carrier plate to be washed out in a bucket and then wrung out in a wringer.
Snap fasteners for fixing on the carrier plate have proven themselves. The press studs create a permanent, non-destructive connection between the cleaning textile and the carrier plate.
As stated above, the use of the cleaning textile as a cleaning cover for a flat mop is particularly advantageous. In particular with such a use, the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction of the cleaning textile, is usually unevenly heavily loaded, so that this uneven load is compensated for by the lower pile density in the middle of the cleaning textile, viewed across the wiping direction, in order to achieve a uniform cleaning result reach. Due to the design of the cleaning textile according to the invention, the dirt absorption of the cleaning surface is largely constant, as is the mechanical load on the Cleaning surface when wiping, so that the entire cleaning surface has a consistently good and streak-free cleaning performance despite the uneven load from the contact pressure.

In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the first 4 and
The first 8 and the third cleaning pile 14 each comprise microfibers. In contrast, the second cleaning web 11 comprises a mixture of microfibers and abrasive fibers.
The
For a further improved cleaning result, the

In the direction of the transverse edges, the second pile density increases, as does the first pile density and the third pile density in each case, in order to be able to compensate for the reduced contact pressure in these areas, in such a way that the cleaning result of the cleaning textile, viewed transversely to the wiping direction, with the described use is practically consistently good.
