In most cases, the cleaning surfaces of known cleaning textiles generally have a uniform pile density, ie also seen transversely to the cleaning direction of the cleaning textiles.

With cleaning textiles that have a cleaning surface with a generally uniform pile density, a uniform cleaning result on the surface to be cleaned can only be achieved if the squeezing force with which the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile is pressed on the surface to be cleaned is evenly distributed over the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile.

This is almost never the case.

As soon as the contact pressure on the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile is unevenly distributed over the cleaning surface, even though the pile density of the cleaning surface is the same in all partial areas, cleaning takes place. Representation of the invention

The invention is based on the object of improving a cleaning textile of the known type in such a way that a uniform cleaning result is obtained when the cleaning surface is pressed with greater force from the center on a surface to be cleaned in the cleaning direction. . The dirt pick-up should also be uniform under these conditions, seen transversely to the cleaning direction of the cleaning textile, as should the mechanical load acting on the cleaning surface as a result of the cleaning.

This task is solved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.

To solve the task, a cleaning textile is provided which comprises a cleaning side with a cleaning surface delimited on the outer peripheral side by an edge, the cleaning surface, seen transversely to the cleaning direction of the cleaning textile, having a lower hair density in the center than on the edges.

Regarding the function, the procedure is as follows:

If cleaning is continued in the cleaning direction, the rear third cleaning zone takes care of removing even very small impurities from the surface to be cleaned that the second cleaning zone has not picked up, thus achieving a streak-free cleaning result.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the first and third cleaning bristles can comprise microfibers, respectively. Microfibres are particularly suitable for picking up even the smallest impurities, thus removing them from the surface to be cleaned without leaving streaks.

The second cleaning pile may, if necessary, comprise microfibers and abrasive fibers. Such a second cleaning bristle can be advantageous for cleaning more dirty surfaces. In this way, the more adhering dirt is better removed from the surface to be cleaned and is subsequently collected with the relatively higher cleaning hair and with the relatively lower hair density of the second cleaning zone.

Each pile density, viewed transversely to the cleaning direction, can increase continuously from the respective center of each cleaning zone to the respective edge. In this case, it is advantageous if the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile also exhibits a uniform cleaning performance transversely to the cleaning direction of the cleaning textile, even if a user of the cleaning textile, seen transversely to the cleaning direction, applies in the center of the cleaning zones the greatest clamping force to the cleaning surface. The first front cleaning zone and the third rear cleaning zone can be configured to coincide. In this case, it is advantageous to configure the cleaning surface symmetrically with respect to the second cleaning zone, therefore being able to be used in and against the cleaning direction and therefore presenting the same properties of use. This symmetry simplifies the handling of the cleaning textile.

According to an advantageous embodiment, provision can be made for the ratio of the second pile height to the first and/or third pile height to be at least 1.2. More preferably, the ratio is < 1.5. On the one hand, the second pile height is large enough for dirt to pass through the first or third cleaning zone for collection in the second cleaning zone. On the other hand, the second pile height in case of ratios like these is not so great that the second cleaning pile bends undesirably during cleaning, thus negatively influencing the cleaning result.

Only the abrasive fibers in the second cleaning zone can have a relatively larger second pile height relative to the first and third pile heights. If, in addition to the abrasive fibres, the second cleaning zone also comprises microfibres, the microfibres can then have the same pile height as the first or third pile height. Such a configuration results in an even more open structure of the second cleaning zone. This can be advantageous for the reception and retention of dirt in the second cleaning zone.

All the cleaning zones can have the same width seen in the cleaning direction. The cleaning surface is preferably substantially rectangular. As already explained above, the use of the cleaning textile as a cleaning cover for a flat mop is particularly advantageous. In particular, in the case of such use, the cleaning surface of the cleaning textile, seen transversely to the cleaning direction of the cleaning textile, is often subjected to uneven loading, whereby this uneven loading is compensated by the uneven loading. lower pile density in the center of the cleaning textile, seen crosswise to the cleaning direction, in order to obtain a uniform cleaning result. Embodiment of the invention

In FIGS. 1 and 2 an exemplary embodiment of a cleaning textile is shown which is used as a cleaning cover 29 for a flat mop not shown here.

The cleaning textile comprises the cleaning side 1 with the rectangular-shaped cleaning surface 2 and limited on the outer perimeter side by the edge 3.

The cleaning surface 2 has three cleaning zones 4, 5, 6 arranged horizontally one behind the other in the cleaning direction 7 of the cleaning textile.

Each of the cleaning zones 4, 5, 6 has a cleaning pile 8, 11, 14 with a pile height of 9, 12, 15 and a pile density of 10, 13, 16 respectively.

In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the first 4 and the third cleaning zone 6 are configured in such a way that they coincide with each other and are arranged essentially symmetrically with respect to the second cleaning zone 5. The coincident configuration refers both to the form, as well as the material.

The first 8 and the third cleaning pile 14 respectively comprise microfibers. In contrast, the second cleaning pile 11 comprises a mixture of microfibers and abrasive fibers.

Seen transversely to the cleaning direction 7 of the cleaning textile, the cleaning surface 2 has a lower pile density 10, 13, 16 in the center than at the edges.
