Abstract

The device has a pair of locking units and a pair of spring stops provided on a standard aluminum section (8) of an opening frame and a lower section (13) of a panel frame. The stops are active when a pivoting panel is in a closed position. One of the locking units includes a flexible sealing ring or a plastic tube (14) fixed along the lower section. The other locking unit has a plane elongated plate (16) moving perpendicular to its plane in a direction allowing the plate to compress the ring along entire length of the ring under the action of springs when the panel is in the closed position.

Claims (10)

  1. A device for sealed locking of a panel (2) pivoting in an opening, the panel and the opening each comprising a rigid frame (6, 1) formed of straight elements, characterised in that the panel and the opening also comprise, on two mutually corresponding elements of these frames (8, 13), on the one hand a pair of fastening means (10; 11), active when the panel (2) is in the closed position, and on the other hand a pair of locking means (13a, 14; 16, 17, 22), one of which comprises a flexible bead (14) fixed along the frame element and the other of which comprises a flat strip (16) mobile perpendicularly to the plane thereof, in a direction allowing it to compress the bead (14) over its entire length under the action of elastic elements (26) when the panel is in said closed position.
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking means mounted on the opening frame is an assembly (16, 18, 19) embedded in a channel (17), open at the top, of a profile element segment (8) of the opening frame (1), said assembly being actuated by a plurality of spring studs (22) resting on the bottom of the channel.
  3. The device according to claim 2, characterised in that said assembly (16, 18, 19) is an inverted U-profile structure comprising said strip (16) in its central part and lateral walls (18, 19) covering the studs (22) such that a bearing force on the strip in downwards direction moves it, allowing the panel (2) to be brought into a fastened position, and the strip is moved upwards to compress the flexible bead (14) when said downward pressure force is interrupted.
  4. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that said frame members (8; 13) are metal profile elements whose profile structure comprises, on at least one profile element of the panel (13) and on a profile element of the opening (8), parts (13a; 17) capable of receiving either the flexible bead (14) or said mobile strip (16) and said elastic actuating elements (22).
  5. The device according to claim 1, characterised in that the flexible bead (14) is a tubular member made of a deformable, elastic material.
  6. The device according to claim 3, characterised in that said profile part of the profile element belonging to the frame of the pivoting panel is a channel (13a) suitable for receiving and retaining the flexible bead (14).
  7. The device according to claim 3, characterised in that said profile part (17) of the profile element (8) belonging to the frame of the opening is a channel having an invariable rectangular general profile over the entire length of the profile element, said channel being defined by two parallel sidewalls and arranged to receive a plurality of spring studs (22) resting on the bottom of the channel (17) and distributed over its entire length.
  8. The device according to claim 4, characterised in that the spring studs (22) are positioned in said channel (17) of rectangular profile by angle irons (28) screwed into the bottom of the channel.
  9. The device according to claim 7, characterised in that the walls (18, 19) of the mobile strip are engaged in said channel (17) between longitudinal guides (20, 21) embedded into grooves in the two sidewalls of said channel of rectangular general profile.
  10. The device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the frame (1) of the opening comprises, on its side equipped with said fastening and locking means, a plurality of metal profile elements (8) fixed parallel side by side, one of which bears the positive fastening means (11) and the other of which bears the active locking means (16, 22) comprising the mobile strip (16).
