  14. The device according to claim 13, characterized in that the distance between the hinge pins of the larger connecting rod (7) is approximately 350 mm and that between the hinge pins of the shorter connecting rod (6) is about 135 mm.
  15. The device according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that the distance separating the hinge pin of the shorter connecting rod (6) from the corresponding edge of the lid (2) is approximately 20 mm, the distance separating either of the two hinge pins of the two connecting rods (6, 7) of a same pair from the lid (2) is approximately 80 mm and in that the distance separating the hinge pin of the large connecting rod (7) from the rebate seating (5) of the lid (2) is approximately 70 mm while the distance separating the hinge pin of the small connecting rod (6) from that rebate is approximately 36 mm.
  16. The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the frame (3) is of the type according to which its sides (4) have a particular taper, for example an angle of approximately 9°, so that the inclined inner surfaces (4a) of the two opposite sides (4) of the frame (3) are parallel to one another and the inclined inner surfaces (4a) of the other two opposite sides (4) of the frame (3) diverge from one another.
  17. The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the lid (2) is maintained by the connecting rods (6, 7) in its raised and upright position by an angle of about 110° relative to the frame (3).
  18. The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises at least one gripping handle (23) secured to the flat wall (2b) of the lid (2) opposite its hinge edge (2c) to the connecting rods (6, 7).
  19. The device according to one of claims 3 to 18, characterized in that the end of each small connecting rod (6) articulated to the side (4) of the frame (3) is provided with a boot (30) able to compress, during tilting of the lid (2) to its opening position, an elastically deformable member (35) in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the side (4) of the frame (3) so as to damp the tilting of the lid (2).
  20. The device according to claim 19, characterized in that the elastically deformable member (35) is a helical compression spring with an axis parallel to the side (4) of the frame (3), and mounted coaxially around a rod (33) between a head thereof and a body (34) secured to the side (4) of the frame (3), the rod (33) being able to slide in the body (34) when the head (33a) of the rod (33) comes into contact with a part forming a cam (31) of the boot (30) of the small connecting rod (6) so as to compress the spring (35).
  21. The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge (2c) of the lid (2) bears on the two corresponding edges of the two small connecting rods (6) to block the lid (2) in its raised and upright position.
