  • the plate 16 also has smooth edge portions 22 and 23 (opposite the serrated edges 16a and 16b) adjoining the edge portions 20 and 21 of the central part 16c; each of the edge portions 22 and 23 is inclined at the same angle as the corresponding edge portion 20 and 21 of the central part, thus creating the above mentioned rhomboidal shape enabling the plate 16 to be housed frontally in the respective groove C1 - C2.
  • This special geometrical shape enables the plate 16 to be inserted into the groove C1 - C2 substantially at an angle (and thus frontally) and then turned, once inside the groove C1 - C2, so as to bring the edges 16a and 16b into contact with the sections 3b and 4b of the protrusions 3 and 4, thus also enabling part of the central body 16c to be stopped and locked in place against the transversal sections 3a and 4a after fastening.
  • the plate 16 has three threaded through holes 24 designed to be engaged by the above mentioned screw fastening elements 14.
  • Each of the holes 24 has an open, threaded cylindrical extension 25 protruding from one of the surfaces of the plate 16: the extension 25 provides an added threaded surface for fastening with the screws 14.
  • the hinge bodies 7 and 10 each provided with a plate 16, are placed on the respective grooves C1 and C2 (see Figure 1 ) after inserting the plates 16 into the respective grooves C1 - C2.
  • the installer slides the hinge body 7 and 10 to the point chosen for fitting the hinge and can start tightening at least one of the screw elements 14.
  • tightening begins with the middle screw element 14, the one that most easily imparts rotation to the respective plate 16 by just a few degrees (arrow F1, Figures 3 and 4 ) so as to cause the two edges 16a and 16b with the serrations 17 to lock against the inside surfaces of the two longitudinal sections 3b, 4b of the protrusions 3 and 4 which are thus penetrated by the outer front surface 18 of the serrations 17 themselves.
  • a hinge made as described above fully achieves the aforementioned aims thanks to the special structure of the stop-lock elements.
  • the serrations have a sort of "double profile" for cutting into the protrusions and creating a solid hinge structure that holds the entire half-part more securely and increases its grip inside the groove both laterally and perpendicularly: this is achieved by the firm grip of the serrations which penetrate the sides of the groove and reduce the risk of the individual parts of the protrusions bending or yielding.

Claims (5)

  1. Scharnier für Türen und Fenster, umfassend einen fixierten Rahmen (1) und einen beweglichen Rahmen (2), deren Profile jeweilige longitudinale Befestigungsnuten (C1, C2) bilden, die jeweils ein Paar (3, 4) Vorsprünge bzw. "Flügel" umfassen, die einander zugewandt und die Form eines umgekehrten Ls aufweisen, die eine obere longitudinale Öffnung (5) definieren, die von den einander zugewandten transversalen Abschnitten (3a, 4a) des Ls definiert wird; wobei das Scharnier (6) mindestens Folgendes umfasst:
    - einen ersten Scharnierkörper (7), aufweisend eine erste zylindrische Aufnahme und eine erste Klappe (8), die durch entsprechende erste Befestigungsmittel (9) mit der Nut (C1) des fixierten Rahmens (1) verbindbar ist;
    - einen zweiten Scharnierkörper (10), aufweisend eine zweite zylindrische Aufnahme und eine zweite Klappe (11), die durch entsprechende zweite Befestigungsmittel (12) mit der Nut (C2) des beweglichen Rahmens (2) verbindbar ist;
    - einen Scharnierbolzen (13), der in den zwei Aufnahmen untergebracht werden kann und die Drehachse (Z) des beweglichen Rahmens (2) definiert;
    wobei die ersten Befestigungsmittel (9) und zweiten Befestigungsmittel (12) jeweils Schraubenelemente (14) umfassen, die in entsprechende Löcher (15) in jeder Klappe (8, 11) eingeführt sind und auf jeweiligen Stoppverriegelungselementen (16) betätigt werden, die auf die Vorsprünge (3, 4) einwirken und in den jeweiligen Nuten (C1, C2) im fixierten Rahmen (1) und im beweglichen Rahmen (2) untergebracht sind; jedes Stoppverriegelungselement einen flachen Block oder eine flache Platte (16) umfasst, aufweisend, von oben gesehen, eine im Wesentlichen polygonale Form; wobei an den beiden distalen Rändern (16a, 16b), an einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Platte (16) und parallel dazu, sowie an den flachen einander gegenüberliegenden Oberflächen der Platte (16) eine Vielzahl von Verzahnungen (17) vorhanden ist; wobei das Scharnier (6) dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Verzahnungen (17) Auskragungen (18, 19) umfassen, die beim Befestigen des Schraubenelements (14) gleichzeitig sowohl vertikal, d. h. in die Innenfläche der transversalen Abschnitte (3a, 4a) der Vorsprünge (3, 4) als auch frontal, d. h. in die longitudinalen Abschnitte (3b, 4b) der Vorsprünge (3, 4), eindringen; dass die ersten Befestigungsmittel (9) und zweiten Befestigungsmittel (12) jeweils mindestens drei Schraubenelemente (14) umfassen; und dass der Block oder die Platte (16) drei Durchgangslöcher (24) mit Gewinde aufweist, die dazu konzipiert sind, durch die Schraubenbefestigungselemente (14) in Eingriff zu gelangen, wobei eines der Durchgangslöcher (24) mit Gewinde in einer mittleren Position liegt, sodass das Anziehen des entsprechenden Schraubenelements (14) eine Drehung des Blocks oder der Platte (16) verursacht, sodass ein Verriegeln der zwei Ränder (16a, 16b) mit den Verzahnungen (17) an den Innenflächen der zwei longitudinalen Abschnitte (3b, 4b) der Vorsprünge (3, 4) herbeigeführt wird, in welche auf diese Weise die äußere Vorderfläche (18) der Verzahnungen (17) eindringt.
  2. Scharnier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder Rand (16a, 16b) der Platte (16) eine Vielzahl von sich mit Leerräumen abwechselnden Verzahnungen (17) zum Befestigen der entsprechenden Nut (C1, C2) umfasst; wobei die freie Außenfläche (18) einer jeden Verzahnung (17) eine flache gerade Oberfläche bildet, die dazu konzipiert ist, frontal in die longitudinalen Abschnitte (3b, 4b) einzutreten und einen Teil der eindringenden Auskragungen zu definieren.
  3. Scharnier nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Verzahnung einen prismatischen Körper (17) umfasst, aufweisend an seinen Seiten jeweilige flügelförmige Auskragungen (19), die sich asymmetrisch erstrecken, d. h. eine nach oben und eine nach unten, sodass entweder die eine oder die andere vertikal in die transversalen Abschnitte (3a, 4a) eintritt, unabhängig davon, in welcher Ausrichtung die Platte (16) in die Nut (C1, C2) eingepasst ist, was bedeutet, dass die Position der Platte (16) in den Nuten (C1, C2) reversibel ist.
  4. Scharnier nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Platte (16) einen vollen zentralen Teil (16c) aufweist, aufweisend jeweilige Randabschnitte (20, 21), die sich relativ zu einer Längsachse (X) der Ausdehnung der Platte (16) bei einem Winkel in einander gegensätzliche Richtungen erstrecken.
  5. Scharnier nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Platte (16) ferner glatte Randabschnitte (22, 23) aufweist, welche an die Randabschnitte (20, 21) des zentralen Teils (16c) angrenzen, und sich im selben Winkel wie der jeweilige Randabschnitt (20, 21) des zentralen Teils erstrecken.
