Definitions
- the invention relates to a profiled rail system for bridging expansion joints, recesses or edge termination of floor coverings according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- a profile rail system is known, which is formed by two fixed on a substrate telescopic pockets.
- a common Abdecksteg plunges which is held longitudinally displaceable relative to the telescopic pockets.
- the telescopic pockets are formed in two pieces. They consist of two webs with mutually facing tooth profiles, between which another web engages. In this way, a click connection results through which the parts of the telescope pocket are connected. Alternatively, these parts are connected by screws.
- the invention has for its object to provide a profile rail system of the type mentioned, which is characterized by a broad applicability.
- the profiled rail system according to claim 1 is used for bridging expansion joints, recesses and / or as edge termination of floor coverings. Especially with floor coverings made of natural materials, such as wood, must a stretch and shrinkage of the flooring are taken into account. For this purpose, expansion joints are left between the floor coverings. In addition, the floor coverings are spaced from the walls for the same reason so as to realize expansion joints here as well.
- the profile rail system has at least one substantially parallel to the floor covering-oriented web, which engages slidably in a pocket. In this way, the profile rail system is telescopic and can thus adapt to the strains and shrinkage of the floor covering.
- the bridge would have to be correspondingly long and the pocket to be deep enough to cover even wide expansion joints and recesses safely. Since these rails are usually extruded, however, a production of a deep and flat bag with the required dimensional accuracy is not possible.
- the pocket of the profile rail system is formed in two pieces.
- the bag consists on the one hand of a cross-bridge the cover plate and the web under cross base plate. It is envisaged that the cover plate is provided in a first part and the base plate in a second part. This eliminates a deep groove in the rail, so that it can be easily formed.
- the depth of the bag is basically not limited in this way. To hold the two parts together securely holding means are provided which connect the two parts together.
- the holding means are formed by at least one screw. This ensures a simple assembly of the parts together.
- the bag is easily accessible through the releasable retaining means, for example, to be able to easily remove debris that has fallen into the pocket.
- a drive channel is formed on the first part.
- This drive channel carries the screws, so that in this way a secure connection of the two parts is ensured together.
- the drive channel can also be easily produced in the extrusion process, without a post-processing would be required.
- the drive channel is preferably designed as a threaded drive channel in order to ensure a secure hold of the screw.
- the screw can also be designed as a self-tapping screw. In this way, the hold of the screw can be improved in the drive channel, or it can be the shape of the drive channel can be simplified.
- the mounting of the screws is done from the base plate, so that the screw heads are not visible in the mounted position of the profile rail system.
- the profile rail system can still be easily produced in the extrusion process, which allows a cost-effective production.
- the bag has a depth which corresponds to at least four times the bag width. In this way, the expansion of large-scale laminate floors can be easily compensated, so that overall results in a very wide application of the profile rail system.
- the floor covering is formed from floor covering elements, which are held clickable by means of undercut tongue and groove profiles. In this way, there is a low installation effort to lay a floor covering. In order to keep the installation costs of the profile rail system as small as possible, this is provided with matching to the flooring elements, undercut tongue and groove profilings. In these profiles, the floor coverings can be clicked accordingly.
- the mounting of the profile rail system to the floor covering elements takes place directly on the front side, so that overstretching of the floor covering by the profile rail system is not required. This results in a continuous covering, which also in the area of the expansion joint has a sufficiently strong connection.
- the rails or the flooring elements are tilted and then pressed the spring in the opposite groove.
- the installation of the profile rail system is thus essentially not different from the laying of the floor covering elements. This facilitates the laying of the entire floor covering considerably and can therefore be carried out easily by untrained persons. In particular, eliminates the need to align the profile rail system to the expansion joint.
- the click connection between the flooring elements and the rail results in a correct alignment of both parts to each other by itself. Due to the fact that the floor covering elements do not spread over the profile rail system, the risk of tripping is also reduced.
- FIG. 1 shows an exploded perspective view of a profiled rail system 1 with adjacent flooring elements 2, which form a floor covering 3.
- the flooring element 2 has frontally a tongue and groove profiling 4, which is formed on the one hand by an undercut groove 5 and on the other hand by an undercut spring 6.
- the profiled rail system 1 has the front side in each case a groove 5 and spring 6, which are shaped according to the grooves 5 and springs 6 of the flooring elements 2. In this way, the profile rail system 1 can be clicked in the same way as the flooring elements 2 in this.
- the profiled rail system 1 consists of a one-piece web portion 7 and a two-piece pocket portion 8.
- the web portion 7 has a web 9, which extends substantially parallel to the floor covering 3, ie in the horizontal direction. This web 9 engages in a pocket 10 formed in the pocket part 10 in order to realize the desired telescoping of the profiled rail system 1 in this way.
- the pocket part 8 is formed in two pieces and consists of an upper, first part 11 and a lower, second part 12.
- the first part 11 has a web 9 cross-cover plate 13, which is visible even in the mounted position of the profile rail system 1.
- the second part 12 has a web 9 engaging under the base plate 14, which forms the lower portion of the bag 10.

The invention has for its object to provide a profile rail system of the type mentioned, which is characterized by a broad applicability.
This object is achieved with the features of claim 1.
The profiled rail system according to claim 1 is used for bridging expansion joints, recesses and / or as edge termination of floor coverings. For this purpose, the profile rail system has at least one substantially parallel to the floor covering-oriented web, which engages slidably in a pocket. In this way, the profile rail system is telescopic and can thus adapt to the strains and shrinkage of the floor covering. To achieve a wide applicability of this profile rail system, it is desirable to achieve the greatest possible telescoping. For this purpose, the bridge would have to be correspondingly long and the pocket to be deep enough to cover even wide expansion joints and recesses safely. Since these rails are usually extruded, however, a production of a deep and flat bag with the required dimensional accuracy is not possible. To solve this problem, the pocket of the profile rail system is formed in two pieces. The bag consists on the one hand of a cross-bridge the cover plate and the web under cross base plate. It is envisaged that the cover plate is provided in a first part and the base plate in a second part. This eliminates a deep groove in the rail, so that it can be easily formed. The depth of the bag is basically not limited in this way. To hold the two parts together securely holding means are provided which connect the two parts together.
The holding means are formed by at least one screw. This ensures a simple assembly of the parts together. In addition, the bag is easily accessible through the releasable retaining means, for example, to be able to easily remove debris that has fallen into the pocket.
To easily fix the screws, a drive channel is formed on the first part. This drive channel carries the screws, so that in this way a secure connection of the two parts is ensured together. The drive channel can also be easily produced in the extrusion process, without a post-processing would be required. The drive channel is preferably designed as a threaded drive channel in order to ensure a secure hold of the screw. Alternatively or additionally, the screw can also be designed as a self-tapping screw. In this way, the hold of the screw can be improved in the drive channel, or it can be the shape of the drive channel can be simplified. The mounting of the screws is done from the base plate, so that the screw heads are not visible in the mounted position of the profile rail system.
To achieve a broad adaptability of the profile rail system, even with thin floor coverings, it is advantageous according to
According to
According to
In order to eliminate a risk of tripping out of the profile rail system, it is advantageous according to
