Claims (8)

  1. A device for fastening a part to a support such as a window, of the type comprising a nut capable of being preassembled on the edge (7) of the support (3) and a screw (4) for fastening said piece to said support, the nut (1) having a configuration in jack-knife form including a base portion (6) adapted to be assembled on the edge (7) of the support (3) and a portion in the form of a flap (8) pivoting between an open position of the nut and a closed position in which the flap (8) is locked on the base portion (6), characterized in that the base portion (6) includes U-shaped elements (14, 16) capable of being engaged on the edge (7) of the support (3) and the flap (8) includes locking elements (21, 23) on the U-shaped elements (14, 16) in the closed position of the nut (1) in jack-knife form.
  2. The fastening device according to claim 1, characterized in that the U-shaped portions include two arms (14) each arranged at a predetermined distance above one edge (16) of the base plate (12) to form a U-shaped element with said edge.
  3. The fastening device according claim 2, characterized in that the locking elements (21, 23) associated with the flap (8) are lugs (21) with hook-shaped ends (23) each adapted to be able to be locked on an arm (14) of the base portion (6).
  4. The fastening device according to one of claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the flap (8) includes means which surround the arms (14) of the base portion (6) to distribute the screwing strain on the arms.

  6. The device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the flap (8) bears, on its face (19) opposite the base, a hub (24) threaded to receive the screw (4) and designed to engage in a recess (27) in the edge (7) of the support (3).
  7. The fastening device according to claim 6, characterized in that a washer (26) made of an elastically deformable material for absorbing thickness differences of the support is arranged around the hub (24).
  8. The fastening device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the base portion (6) includes a plate (12) provided with a hole of smaller dimension ensuring that during screwing the screw pushes on said face to prevent the flap (8) from coming unstuck during screwing.
