Definitions

  • the invention relates to a switching device according to the preamble of independent claim 1 and a room unit with a novel switching device.
  • Such switching devices with an operating unit and a support member, on the first switching means and second switching means are spaced from each other, wherein the first switching means are actuated by a first tilting movement of the operating unit about a first tilting axis and by a second tilting movement of the operating unit to a first tilting axis crossing the second tilting axis, the second switching means can be used for triggering room functions, such as adjusting the room temperature, the switching on / off of the light, setting the room ventilation, the operation of the blinds or much more.
  • Switching devices are today generally used to select and execute a function from a predefined number of functions.
  • switching devices of various designs are used today.
  • various functions of one or more devices are often triggered via a single switching device.
  • room controllers are used today for the control and regulation of rooms, with which in addition to the regulation of the room temperature also other room functions can be performed, eg the switching on / off of the light, the regulation of the room ventilation, the actuation of blinds etc.
  • separate switching devices are also used, which differ from room devices in that they can not control the room temperature.
  • Such room devices or switching devices are in operation typically mounted in a wall or on a wall so as to be operable by a user from the room.
  • a switching device comprising a plurality of parallel rockers and a socket.
  • the rockers have a vertical rocking axis and on the base two microswitches are arranged per rocker switch.
  • a microswitch is actuated in each case and the function assigned to the associated microswitch is executed. Since each of the rocker arms can be tilted in two directions, two microswitches can be actuated by each rocker switch to trigger two functions. Since the rockers are each individually tiltable, a relatively complex tilting mechanism is necessary.
  • moisture and impurities can penetrate into the switching device through gaps between two adjacent rockers, unless this is prevented separately in a complicated manner. Such penetrating moisture and impurities may cause a failure of the switching device.
  • An improved other switching device comprises a substantially square, for example, actuating cap, which is mounted on a substantially square printed circuit board, wherein in the regions of the four corners of the circuit board in each case a microswitch of the actuating flap facing the printed circuit board is arranged.
  • a spring element can be arranged which absorbs tilting movements between the actuating cap and the printed circuit board and without force applied from the outside, the actuating cap in a starting position.
  • the actuating cap is tilted in the direction of its four corners to the circuit board, so that the associated microswitch is actuated by means of a pressing from the outside to one of the four corner regions of the actuating cap. This allows a user with the Switching device four function, each assigned to one of the microswitches trigger.
  • a disadvantage of this switching device is that the executable with her functions are limited to four. In order to perform more than four functions, it is therefore further developed in a further switching device so that the actuating cap is tilted in the direction of its side edges to the circuit board out. In this case, two microswitches are actuated simultaneously by this tilting.
  • the switching device further comprises additionally evaluation means in order to evaluate the simultaneous actuation of two adjacent microswitches and to be able to assign a function. With such a switching device four further functions are correspondingly triggered, so that a total of a user a maximum of eight functions are available or possibly even a maximum of nine functions when the actuation of all four microswitches can be evaluated simultaneously by the evaluation.
  • the evaluation means wait a predefined response time before initiating the corresponding function. This wait leads to a time delay in the operation of this switching device, which can be annoying for a user. Moreover, it may be relatively easy to operate this switching device that erroneously only a microswitch or two or more microswitches are operated simultaneously by a user. In particular, with relatively small such switching devices, it may accordingly be difficult for a user to trigger exactly the desired function.
  • EP 0 691 666 A1 discloses a switching device according to the preamble of claim 1, which has nine switching means, of which eight are arranged in a circle and one in the middle of the circle.
  • the eight arranged in a circle Switching means are all operable by tilting a control unit, but when tilting several switching means are always operated simultaneously.
  • the object of the invention below is therefore to propose a switching device which reliably enables the simple rapid triggering of one of several functions.
  • the switching device has an operating unit and a carrier element, on which first switching means, second switching means and intermediate therebetween intermediate switching means are arranged at a distance from one another.
  • first tilting movement of the operating unit about a first tilting axis the first switching means are actuated, by a second tilting movement of the operating unit about a first tilt axis crossing second tilting axis the second switching means and by an intermediate tilting movement of the operating unit to one at an angle to the first tilting axis and the second tilt axis arranged insects.
  • the switching device also has actuating means, by means of which in the first tilting movement substantially exclusively the first switching means are actuated, in the second tilting movement substantially exclusively the second switching means and in the Eisenkippterrorism substantially exclusively the intermediate switching means.
  • the switching means can be configured, for example, as a switch and in particular as a micro-switch.
  • the carrier element and correspondingly also the operating unit can be configured, for example, with a substantially rectangular, with a substantially square, with a round or with an oval surface.
  • a switching device can trigger a plurality of functions, without it being necessary to actuate a plurality of switching means at the same time for carrying out a function.
  • the inventive switching device can easily and quickly trigger the execution of a variety of functions.
  • the switching device comprises in each case between the operating unit and the first switching means, between the operating unit and the second switching means and between the operating unit and the intermediate switching means acting spring elements, wherein the spring elements are designed so that the control unit is placed in a starting position on their spring force, in the first switching means, the second switching means and the intermediate switching means are not actuated.
  • the spring elements can be configured, for example, integrated in a spring plate or in a plastic plate as sheet metal springs or as plastic springs. Or they can for example be designed as coil springs, which are arranged on a common spring plate.
  • switching means such as microswitch partially have only a small actuation path, which can be perceived only badly by a user, can be increased with such spring elements of the actuating travel of the switching means. So it can be ensured that a user can operate the switching device in a comfortable way manually.
  • spring means allow that the switching device is always in a starting position when externally no force acts on the control unit.
  • the actuating means have a first elevation arranged between the operating unit and the first switching means, a second elevation arranged between the operating unit and the second switching means, and an intermediate elevation arranged between the operating unit and the intermediate switching means, wherein the Intermediate survey is more powerful than the first survey and as the second survey.
  • the term "powerful” in this context refers to the extension of the elevations from the operating unit in the direction of the switching means.
  • the elevations may be configured, for example, as pins or as columns, which are each arranged corresponding to the switching means on the operating unit or on the spring means.
  • the operating unit is designed as a plate with a substantially planar, the support member remote outer surface, wherein the outer surface of the control unit is covered by an at least partially transparent cover and wherein between the cover and the outer surface of the control unit an insert is arranged with control symbols ,
  • the operating symbols are arranged on the one hand in each case adjacent to the associated switching means and on the other hand adjacent to the transparent part of the cover.
  • the support element is designed as a printed circuit board.
  • a circuit board which may be configured for example as a printed circuit (PCB)
  • both the switching means themselves can be arranged, for example, be soldered, as well as their electrical connections and other components.
  • PCB printed circuit
  • circuit boards can be easily manufactured in a conventional manner automated.
  • the switching device has a light source arranged on the printed circuit board, which is visible from the cover when it is lit, and which can be assigned to an operating symbol of the insert.
  • the light source can be used, for example, as a light-emitting diode (LED) be designed. With one or more such light sources, a status information can be given to a user of the switching device in a simple manner.
  • a control unit for example, behind each control icon, a light source can be arranged so that it is visible from the outside, whether behind the respective control icon, the associated light source is lit or not. In this case, then the light source, for example, then shine when the switching device is actuated accordingly.
  • the switching device comprises further first switching means, further second switching means and further intermediate switching means, wherein the first switching means, the second switching means and the intermediate switching means are arranged symmetrically to the further first switching means, the further second switching means and the further intermediate switching means on the carrier element.
  • the switching device can be easily configured to easily and reliably trigger twice as many functions. If the carrier element is configured, for example, with a substantially square surface, then the first switching means and the second switching means can be arranged in two adjacent corner regions of the carrier element and the intermediate switching means in the middle of the side connecting these two corner regions.
  • the further first switching means and the further second switching means are then arranged in the two other corner regions of the carrier element and the further intermediate switching means in the middle of the side opposite said side.
  • Such a switching device can easily and quickly trigger at least six functions in a simple manner.
  • intermediate switching means are respectively arranged on the carrier element between the first switching means and the further first switching means and between the second switching means and the further second switching means.
  • the switching device at least two other functions quickly and trigger reliably.
  • at least eight functions can thus be triggered quickly and reliably with the switching device in a simple manner.
  • center switching means are arranged on the carrier element, which can be actuated by a movement of the operating unit substantially perpendicular to a surface of the carrier element.
  • the switching device can be designed to trigger at least one further function.
  • at least nine functions can thus be triggered quickly and reliably with the switching device in a simple manner.
