Claims (25)
- Elément de sécurité (20) pour papiers de sécurité, documents de valeur et analogues comprenant une structure à diffraction qui présente une structure en relief gaufrée (24, 26) et une couche de couverture (28, 32) augmentant la visibilité de l'effet de diffraction de la structure en relief (24, 26) gaufrée, caractérisé en ce que la structure en relief (24, 26) est formée à base d'un matériau cristal liquide cholestérique et que la couche de couverture (28, 32) contient une couche réfléchissante (28) et/ou une couche à indice de réfraction élevé (32).
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la structure en relief (24) est formée dans un matériau polymère cristal liquide cholestérique.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la structure en relief (24, 26) gaufrée présente une épaisseur de couche entre environ 1,5 µm et environ 4 µm.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le matériau cristal liquide de la structure en relief (62) est sous forme de pigments (66) enchâssés dans une matrice de liant (64).
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le liant (64) présente des propriétés thermoplastiques.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 4 ou 5, caractérisé en ce que la structure en relief (62) gaufrée présente une épaisseur de couche entre environ 3 µm et environ 10 µm.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que le matériau cristal liquide est sous forme réticulée.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que la couche de couverture contient une couche de matériau (28) réfléchissante présente au moins par zones.
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'une couche (32) à indice de réfraction élevé est disposée dans la couche de couverture au-dessus de la couche réfléchissante (28).
- Elément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le matériau cristal liquide de la structure en relief est appliqué sur un film support (22) conçu pour orienter les cristaux liquides ou sur un film support doté d'une couche d'orientation pour orienter les cristaux liquides.
- Élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de sécurité (20) contient une zone de fond (50 ; 70) absorbante pour observer l'effet de diffraction et l'effet de changement de couleur.
- Élément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que la zone de fond est formée par une couche d'impression (50 ; 70) foncée, en particulier noire.
- Élément de sécurité (20) selon la revendication 11 ou 12, caractérisé en ce que la zone de fond (50 ; 70) présente une caractéristique de sécurité supplémentaire, en particulier une substance caractéristique magnétique ou conductrice électriquement.
- Élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 13, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de sécurité (20) contient une ou plusieurs couche(s) supplémentaire(s) de matériau cristal liquide.
- Élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 14, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de sécurité (20) est une bande de sécurité, un fil de sécurité, une étiquette ou un élément de transfert destiné à être appliqué sur un papier de sécurité, un document de valeur ou analogues.
- Papier de sécurité pour la fabrication documents de sécurité comme des billets de banque, cartes d'identité ou analogues, doté d'un élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 15.
- Document de valeur (10) comme un billet de banque, un chèque, un document officiel, une carte d'identité ou analogues, doté d'un élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 15.
- Procédé de fabrication d'un élément de sécurité (20) selon au moins l'une des revendications 1 à 15, dans lequela) une couche à base d'un matériau cristal liquide cholestérique est appliquée sur un film support (22),b) la couche appliquée est gaufrée en une structure en relief (24, 26) d'une structure à diffraction souhaitée, etc) la couche gaufrée (24, 26) est dotée d'une couche de couverture (28, 32) augmentant la visibilité, laquelle contient une couche réfléchissante (28) et/ou une couche à indice de réfraction élevé (32).
- Procédé selon la revendication 18, caractérisé en ce que la couche à matériau cristal liquide cholestérique est imprimée à l'étape a).
- Procédé selon la revendication 18 ou 19, caractérisé en ce que la couche appliquée à l'étape a) est prédurcie avant le gaufrage de l'étape b).
- Procédé selon au moins l'une des revendications 18 à 20, caractérisé en ce que la couche appliquée lors du gaufrage de l'étape b) est au moins durcie au point que, en particulier par application de rayonnement UV ou faisceau électronique, que les structures gaufrées ne coulent pas lors des étapes de procédé suivantes.
- Procédé selon la revendication 21, caractérisé en ce que l'application à l'étape b) s'effectue à travers le film support (22) ou à travers l'outil de gaufrage.
- Procédé selon au moins l'une des revendications 18 à 22, caractérisé en ce que la couche gaufrée (24, 26) est durcie avant l'application de la couche de couverture (28, 32) à l'étape c), en particulier par application de rayonnement UV ou faisceau électronique.
- Procédé selon au moins l'une des revendications 18 à 23, caractérisé en ce que la couche gaufrée (24, 26) à l'étape c) est dotée d'une couche métallique (28) réfléchissante au moins par zones.
- Procédé selon au moins l'une des revendications 18 à 24, caractérisé en ce qu'à l'étape c), une couche à indice de réfraction élevé (32) est appliquée, en particulier est vaporisée par un procédé de vapeur à vide.
