Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne avec un premier et un second type de carburant. Le premier type de carburant présente un pouvoir lubrifiant suffisant pour les sièges de soupapes du moteur à combustion interne. Ledit dispositif comprend deux circuits de carburant associés au moins partiellement aux deux types de carburant, et au moins un dispositif de commande électronique qui commande le fonctionnement du moteur à combustion interne avec le second type de carburant. Le fonctionnement du moteur à combustion interne est commandé de telle façon que le premier type de carburant du moteur à combustion interne soit alimenté à des intervalles prédéterminés.
