Description
- Die gegenständliche Erfindung betrifft eine Metall-Legierung, welche im wesentlichen aus Kupfer, Nickel, Mangan und Eisen besteht, wobei die Hauptbestandteile durch Kupfer und Nickel gebildet sind.
- Derartige bekannte Legierungen weisen eine Vielzahl von Eigenschaften auf, aufgrund welcher sie in vielen technischen Gebieten und für vielfältige Zwecke verwendbar sind. Aufgrund ihrer Korrosionsbeständigkeit, ihrer mechanischen Festigkeit und ihrer Duktilität sind sie insbesondere in der chemischen Industrie, wie in der Erdölindustrie, im chemischen Apparatebau, in der Entsalzungstechnik, einsetzbar. Sie können auch für Kabelarmierungen, zur Herstellung von Brillengestellen und in vielen anderen technischen Gebieten, wie auch für elektrotechnische Zwecke verwendet werden. Zudem können diese bekannten Legierungen für Beschichtungen verwendet werden. Weiters sind sie auch als Schweißzusatzstoffe verwendbar.
- Diese bekannten Legierungen werden in Form von Gussteilen, Pulvern, Platten, Blechen, Bändern, Folien, Stangen, Rohren und Drähten hergestellt, welche als Ausgangsprodukte für die Herstellung einer Vielzahl von Bauteilen dienen.
- Um den bei ihrer Verwendung gestellten Erfordernissen zu entsprechen, müssen diese Metall-Legierungen gute Verarbeitungseigenschaften aufweisen, nämlich gut gießbar sowie kalt- und warmverformbar sein, müssen sie weiters gut vereschweißbar bzw. gut verlötbar sein, müssen sie gut spanabhebend bearbeitbar, gut schleifbar und gut polierbar sein und sollen sie galvanisierbar sein.
- Sämtlichen diesen Forderungen wird z.B. durch die NiCu30Fe-Legierung Werkstoff Nr.2.4360 nach DIN17743 entsprochen. Diese bekannte Legierung weist die folgenden Bestandteile mit den nachstehend angegebenen Anteilen (in Massen-%) auf:
Nickel mindestens 63 % Kupfer 28 % bis 34 % Eisen 1 % bis 2.5 % Mangan maximal 2 % Reststoffe maximal 1 % - Die vorstehend erläuterten guten Materialeigenschaften sind u.a. darin begründet, dass die einzelnen Legierungsbestandteile ineinander vollständig lösbar sind, wodurch sie eine geschlossene Mischkristallreihe bilden, welche keine Mischungslücken aufweist bzw. wodurch die Legierung in sich vollständig homogen ist.
- Diese bekannte Metall-Legierung und ähnliche weitere Nickel-Kupfer-Legierungen weisen sehr hohe Anteile an Nickel auf, welcher Sachverhalt deshalb berücksichtigt werden muss, da der Weltmarktpreis von Nickel vielfach höher ist als der Preis von Kupfer, weswegen diese bekannten Legierungen sehr teuer sind. Ebenfalls bekannte Kupfer-NickelLegierungen mit niedrigeren Nickelgehalten und nur geringen Zusätzen an weiteren Legierungselementen weisen wiederum verschlechterte Eigenschaften auf, zB. hinsichtlich mechanischer Festigkeit und Duktilität oder hinsichtlich Korrosionsbeständigkeit in aggressiven Medien.
- Der gegenständliche Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Metall- Legierung zu schaffen, welche die gleichen vorteilhaften Eigenschaften wie die bekannten Legierungen aufweist, insbesondere wie die Legierung NiCu30Fe, welche dieser gegenüber aber einen maßgeblich verminderten Anteil an Nickel enthält, wodurch sie gegenüber der bekannten Legierung wesentlich billiger ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die Legierung die folgenden Bestandteile in den nachstehend angegebenen Anteilen (in Massen-%) enthält:
Kupfer 40 % bis 61 % Nicken 35 % bis 45 % Mangan 3,9 % bis 10 % Eisen 0,1 % bis 5 % Reststoffe, wie Kohlenstoff, Silizium, Aluminium, Magnesium, Titan, Chrom, seltene Erden, Molybdän, Yttrium maximal 2 % in Summe - Diese Legierung ist aufgrund ihres maßgeblich geringeren Anteils an Nickel wesentlich billiger als die bekannten Nickel-Kupfer-Legierungen, ohne dass deren Eigenschaften gegenüber den bekannten Legierungen verschlechtert sind. Aufgrund des gegenüber dem Stand der Technik wesentlich höheren Anteils an Mangan weist diese Legierung zudem eine besonders hohe Warmfestigkeit auf, welche für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen erforderlich ist.
- Eine bevorzugte Legierung weist die folgenden Bestandteile in folgenden Anteilen (in Massen-%) auf:
Kupfer 55,03 % Nickel 39,66 % Mangan 4,64 % Eisen 0,46 % Kohlenstoff 0,05 % Silizium 0,06 % Aluminium 0,02 % Magnesium 0,03 % Titan 0,01 % Chrom 0,02 % Reststoffe 0,02 % - Eine weitere bevorzugte Legierung weist die folgenden Bestandteile in folgenden Anteilen (in Massen-%) auf:
Kupfer 52,87 % Nickel 39,16 % Mangan 3,98 % Eisen 3,75 % Kohlenstoff 0,05 % Silizium 0,09 % Aluminium 0,03 % Magnesium 0,03 % Titan 0,01 % Chrom 0,02 % Reststoffe 0,01 % - Zwei erfindungsgemäße Legierungen sind nachstehend anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert.
- Diese Legierung weist die folgenden Bestandteile in folgenden Anteilen (in Massen-%) auf:
Kupfer 55,03 % Nickel 39,66 % Mangan 4,64 % Eisen 0,46 % Kohlenstoff 0,05 % Silizium 0,06 % Aluminium. 0,02 % Magnesium 0,03 % Titan 0,01 % Chrom 0,02 % Reststoffe 0,02 % - Diese Legierung weist die folgenden Bestandteile in folgenden Anteilen (in Massen-%) auf:
Kupfer 52,87 % Nickel 39,16 % Mangan 3,98 % Eisen 3,75 % Kohlenstoff 0,05 % Silizium 0,09 % Aluminium 0,03 % Magnesium 0,03 % Titan 0,01 % Chrom 0,02 % Reststoffe 0,01 % - Diese Legierungen weisen einen vergleichsweise hohen Anteil an Kupfer und einen vergleichsweise geringen Anteil an Nickel auf, wodurch sie aufgrund des sehr hohen Preisunterschiedes von Nickel und Kupfer gegenüber bekannten Ni-Cu-Legierungen vergleichsweise kostengünstig sind. Dessen ungeachtet sind auch diese Legierungen hoch korrosionsbeständig, weisen sie hohe Festigkeiten auf und sind sie aufgrund ihrer sehr homogenen Struktur sehr gut verarbeitbar, wodurch sie in vielfältigen Bereichen einsetzbar sind.
- Sowohl die Legierung gemäß Beispiel 1 als auch die Legierung gemäß Beispiel 2 weisen zum Beispiel im Vergleich zu NiCu30Fe bei gleichen Verarbeitungsparametern beim Walzen, Ziehen, Zwischen- und Endglühen sehr ähnliche mechanische Werte an Rund- und Flachprodukten auf, was sich sehr günstig auf deren Verarbeitbarkeit auswirkt: In der nachstehenden Tabelle 1 sind die Zugfestigkeiten Rm (in N/mm2) und die Bruchdrehung A200 (in %, bezogen auf 200 mm Messlänge) verglichen zwischen der Legierung gemäß Beispiel 1 und der Legierung gemäß Beispiel 2 sowie der bekannten Legierung NiCu30Fe, jeweils Runddraht Ø 1,80 mm und Flachdraht 12,7 x 0,38 mm, beide weichgeglüht.

Ebenso ist z.B. die Stabilität gegen Entfestigung beim Löten bei Temperaturen von 600°C und höher als gleich gut zu bewerten, deutlich besser als bei Kupfer-Nickellegierungen ohne diese hohen Mangan- und Eisengehalte.
Ein weiteres Beispiel für die vergleichbar guten Eigenschaften der Legierungen gemäß Beispiel 1 und gemäß Beispiel 2 im Vergleich zu Legierungen mit höherem Nickelinhalt ist das vergleichbar gute Korrosionsverhalten der Legierungen gemäß Beispiel 3 und gemäß Beispiel 2 gegenüber NiCu30Fe. Nachstehend sind die Ergebnisse zweier vergleichender Korrosionstests angeführt: - a) Test in 62 % CaCl2 bei 120° C für 5 Tage:
- Der Massenverlust (g/m2 h) bei NiCu30Fe ist 0,010, derjenige bei der Legierung gemäß Beispiel 1 ist 0,014, d.h. die Legierung gemäß Beispiel 1 ist unter diesen Bedingungen etwa 71 % so korrosionsbeständig wie NiCu30Fe bei ca. 59 % Nickelinhalt im Vergleich zu NiCu30Fe und zeigt wie NiCu30Fe auch keine Anzeichen von schädlichem Lochfraß.
- b) Test in 27 g/l NaCl bei 80° C, 6 bar H2S, 6 bar CO2 für 14 Tage:
- Der Massenverlust (g/m2 h) bei NiCu30Fe ist 0,0186, derjenige bei der Legierung gemäß Beispiel 2 ist 0,0100, d. h. die Legierung gemäß Beispiel 2 ist unter solchen Bedingungen etwa 186 % (also fast doppelt) so korrosionsbeständig wie NiCu30Fe bei ca. 59% Nickelinhalt im Vergleich zu NiCu30Fe und zeigt ebenso wie NiCu30Fe auch keine Anzeichen von schädlichem Lochfraß.
Claims (5)
- Metall-Legierung, welche im wesentlichen aus Kupfer, Nickel, Mangan und Eisen besteht, wobei die Hauptbestandteile durch Kupfer und Nickel gebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie die folgenden Bestandteile in den nachstehend angegebenen Anteilen (in Massen-%) enthält:
Kupfer 40 % bis 61 % Nickel 35 % bis 45 % Mangan 3,9 % bis 10 % Eisen 0.1 % bis 5 % Reststoffe maximal 2 % in Summe - Metall-Legierung nach Patentanspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Anteile (in Massen%):
Kupfer 55,03 % Nickel 39,66 % Mangan 4.64 % Eisen 0,46 % Reststoffe 0,21 % - Metall-Legierung nach Patentanspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie die folgenden Reststoffe enthält (in Massen-%):
Kohlenstoff 0,05 % Silizium 0.06 % Aluminium 0,02 % Magnesium 0,03 % Titan 0,01 % Chrom 0,02 % Andere Stoffe, wie seltene Erden Molybdän, Yttrium 0,02 % - Metall-Legierung nach Patentanspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Anteile (in Massen-%):
