Description

The invention relates to a floor conveyor for transporting containers with a plurality of wheels and with a container receiving device, wherein the container receiving device is liftably supported by a hoist on the wheels.

The transport of containers with floor conveyors is usually between the dock leveler of a jetty and a loading dock remote container warehouse. For this in-use floor conveyor are designed especially as a portal stacker Straddle Carrier, with which the container can be added to the loading bridges, transported into the container storage and can be stacked there. Since the container warehouses are not always located directly next to the loading bridges, the use of the portal stackers is often decisively influenced by the horizontal transport between the loading bridge and the container store. For a predominant horizontal transport, however, known portal stackers, which were designed with their large heights primarily for the stacking of containers, less suitable.

In addition, there are for a Horizonaltransport of tractors or the like moving trailers in use, with which the containers are taken directly under the loading bridges and driven to the container storage. There, the containers are picked up by gantry cranes moving on rails or rubber wheels and stacked in the container warehouse. However, the trailers can not automatically pick up and set down the containers, so that a disadvantageous time dependence arises both at the loading bridge and in the container storage.

Out US-A-5 114 295 is a floor conveyor according to the preamble of claim 1 known.

The invention has for its object to provide a floor conveyor of the type mentioned, which is particularly suitable for the horizontal transport of containers.

The floor conveyor according to the invention is characterized in that the container receiving at least four arranged in series, each corresponding with a container end stop bar, and that each outer stop bar arranged on a pull-out, held extendable over a series of stop bars acting in parallel stop means guide to the container receptacle is.

The container receiving device, which can also be referred to as a spreader, is thus formed as the wheels connecting together driving frame. Together with the wheels designed as a driving frame container receptacle thus forms the chassis, with its wheels and its chassis are connected to each other via the hoist. By dispensing with a conventional traveling frame with wheels mounted thereon, a particularly compactly constructed floor conveyor is provided whose acquisition and operating costs are advantageously lower than those of the known as Straddle Carrier floor conveyor. The Auschlagbalken each have two rotary keys, segenannts "twist locks", which are automatically verrigelbar to the corner fittings of the container, the stop bars are each aligned approximately parallel to the portals and can be individually displaced. In principle, the container receptacle can also have fewer or more than four stop bars. With pull-out carriers, all container holders are infinitely adjustable to the length of the containers. The extractors associated actuators can be carried out both hydraulically and electrically.

According to a first development of the invention, the container receiving device has at least two portals arranged on the lifting mechanism and at least one portal carrier interconnecting the portals. The portals serve to reach over the container to be transported with the forklift. For this purpose, the gantry girders respectively consist of two gantry supports and a crossbeam connecting the gantry supports, the wheel contact surface being defined approximately by the distances between the individual gantry supports. Of course, it is within the scope of the invention to form the container receptacle with more than two portals or with more than one portal carrier.

Preferably, at least two successively arranged container receptacles are formed with the stop bars, which are suitable for example for receiving two 20-foot containers. For this purpose, the four stop bars form two stop bar pairs, wherein the same stop bar pair forming stop bars are arranged adjacent to each other.

In addition, a further container receptacle is jointly formed with the two outer stop bar, which is suitable for example for receiving a 40-foot container. In this larger trained container receiving the arranged in the row between the outer connecting bar inner connecting bars are inoperative. In order to prevent the inner connecting bars from protruding into the receiving space of the container receptacle formed by the outer connecting bars, it may be provided that the inner stop bars are assigned a free-cutting device with which the inner stop bars can be moved out of the receiving space. Such a cropping device has, for example, a lifting or swiveling mechanism which moves the inner stop bar upwards out of its row.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the portals each have at least two stop bars and that the portals are held by a portal guide longitudinally displaceable on the portal carrier. With such a configuration, each portal can have a container receptacle, wherein the distance between the container receptacles on the gantry guide is adjustable. With this function, two containers received in the container receptacles can be moved apart so far that can open each other facing container doors completely. The portal guide associated actuators are arranged between the gantry and the portals guided on it and can also be performed both hydraulically and electrically.

A particularly load-bearing construction is provided in that the gantry guide and the stop means guide have telescoping guide surfaces. However, it is within the scope of the invention to realize the portal guide and / or the stop means guide by means of link, rail or joint guides.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention it is provided that the portals are each immovably connected to the gantry, and that each inner stop bar is held on a corresponding with the stop means guide parallel guide on the container receptacle. With the additional parallel guide a container receiving device is provided with two container receptacles, in which the distance between the container receptacles remains adjustable despite one-piece design of the container receiving device. Thus, even in one-piece container receiving device two containers received in the container receptacles can be moved apart so far that can be completely open to each other facing container doors. The parallel guide associated actuators are arranged between the inner stop bar and the container receiving device and can also be performed both hydraulically and electrically. The separation or collapse of two in the container shots arranged container takes place either via actuators of the parallel guide or via actuators of the stop means guide. The respective unavailable actuators associated stop bars are dragged over the recorded container.

The hoist advantageously has at least four hoisting force transmitters each assigned to one wheel. Of course, the floor conveyor according to the invention may also have more than four wheels, the hoist is then assigned according to several wheels.

The Hubkraftgeber are connected to each other via a controller with which the Hubkraftgeber are either synchronously or in pairs independently controllable. The maximum stroke of the Hubkraftgeber is dimensioned such that the container can be safely transported away over Flurunbenheiten without aufschllagen the ground. For stacking the container, the hoist of the floor conveyor according to the invention is not designed.
