Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour freiner un véhicule ferroviaire qui présente au moins deux systèmes de freinage commandables individuellement, notamment au moins un système de freinage électrique et au moins un système de freinage mécanique, les systèmes de freinage pouvant être commandés en fonction de leur disponibilité. Il est prévu de déterminer la masse à freiner du véhicule ferroviaire ainsi que les forces de freinage (forces possibles) momentanément disponibles pour chaque système de freinage. La force de freinage momentanément nécessaire (force de consigne) est elle aussi déterminée. La force de consigne est alors distribuée par une fonction de gestion sur les systèmes de freinage en tenant compte de la masse à freiner et des forces possibles en ce que la fonction de gestion commande les systèmes de freinage individuellement ou en combinaison.
