  • the tail 22 of the anchor 6 rests on the limiting pin 23. From this moment the plate 3 and the balance associated with it run their supplementary arc in the direction of the arrow 34 and then turn back in the direction of the arrow 32.
  • a complete oscillation of the plate 3 has thus been accomplished and described in detail. We then find our in the situation described in figure 3 and a new cycle or oscillation can resume as soon as the peg 4 of the plate 3 enters the fork 8 again.
  • the first pulse occurs during the first halfwave when the plate 3 rotates in the direction of the arrow 32. This first pulse is double since coming simultaneously from the mobiles 1 and 2 ( Figures 5 and 6 ).
  • the second pulse takes place during the second halfwave when the plate 3 rotates in the direction of the arrow 34. This second pulse is also double since coming simultaneously from the mobiles 1 and 2 ( Figures 11 and 12 ).
