Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de revêtement (2) permettant de transférer des couches qui forment une image ou qui assurent un recouvrement à partir d'un film de transfert (5) sur une matière à imprimer. L'objectif de la présente invention est de pouvoir utiliser un tel mécanisme de revêtement de manière flexible afin d'assurer une production intégrée de matières à imprimer complexes. On doit notamment pouvoir surimprimer sans problème des films de revêtement. A cette fin, un ou plusieurs systèmes de décharge (E, E1) reliés à un module d'application de film (FA) sont utilisés pour modifier la tension de surface du film de transfert (5) ou de la feuille d'impression dans une rotative à feuilles, de manière à permettre également une impression de haute qualité de la surface de la feuille d'impression revêtue d'un film.
