Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a boat equipped with a removable cab device according to the preamble of claim 1, and a method for setting up this device in such a boat.
  • the boats are said to be "open” when they do not have a cabin or permanent shelter. They are generally small, light and easily manipulable boats having a rigid and / or inflatable shell of the Zodiac® type. When at sea, however, it is advantageous to be able to shelter in a cabin to sleep there, especially when it is equipped with berths, or to protect oneself from the harmful effects of the sun and / or inclement weather. To do this, it is possible to install rigid cabins mounted permanently fixed to the front of the boats. But in this case, the user loses the benefits of an open boat, the boat can become bulky and difficult to handle.
  • Removable shelters are also known whose structure is formed of metal arches positioning themselves in specific housings arranged all along the boat. The user must fold a tarpaulin on these poles to completely cover the boat.
  • Such structures are for example described in the documents US 5,070,807 (LEWIS ) or US 4,766,918 (ODEKIRK ).
  • LWIS US 5,070,807
  • ODEKIRK US 4,766,918
  • the use of this type of roofed shelter is not totally satisfactory. Indeed, the sheeting and untied arch is generally painful and makes the installation of the laborious shelter. In addition, these shelters require a specific installation that can be expensive.
  • the arches being tailor-made according to the model of the boat, a user who changes boat model must obligatorily make new arches.
  • the structure of the shelter is rigid and bulky and it is generally not possible to store it in the boat for lack of space.
  • Another disadvantage is that despite the presence of the tarpaulin, people remain in contact with the bottom of the boat and do not have berths to sleep and / or rest properly.
  • the main technical problem that the invention aims to solve is to propose a removable cabin that can be easily positioned in a boat and stored with a minimum of space in said boat when it is not used.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a removable cabin that can be mounted on a wide range of boats.
  • the invention also aims to provide a removable cabin equipped with a bunk for optimal comfort.
  • the invention also aims to provide a removable cab of simple design, inexpensive and implementation is quick and easy.
  • This structure is also remarkable in that once the inflated structure, the outer spacing between the lateral branches of the first coil is greater than or equal to the spacing between the inner side walls of the boat, so that said side branches are flattened. against said inner side walls.
  • the configuration of this structure allows to easily position the cabin on the deck of a boat, without any effort and without the need to provide specific fasteners.
  • the structure because it is inflatable, the structure mounts and dismounts easily at will. And once deflated, this structure has a minimum footprint on the boat when folded.
  • these features allow the inflatable cabin to adapt to the boat, regardless of the width of the latter and regardless of its inner shape.
  • the claimed cabin thus has a certain universality that the booths of the prior art, and in particular those described in the documents WO 99/14454 (CYRK ) and US 6,623,322 (LESNIAK ), do not own.
  • the lateral branches of the first bead can be manually brought closer to one another, in an elastic manner, in order to reduce the external spacing between said branches.
  • a third removable bead is arranged between the first flange and said side walls.
  • the first bead has an ogival shape similar to the shapes of the front parts of the boats.
  • the second strands are arranged to form two parallel arches connecting the branches. side of the first flange, a third arch, perpendicular to the other two arches, having one end connected to the transverse branch of said first flange, the other end being connected to the top of one or two other arches.
  • the inflatable structure is in one piece, the different tubes communicate with each other, so that only one valve is needed to inflate said structure.
  • the different tubes do not communicate with each other and each have their own inflation valve.
  • the various flanges are preferably fixed together removably by temporary fixing means.
  • a removable mattress of complementary shape to the first bead, is arranged in the cabin so as to form a berth to accommodate people lying down to sleep.
  • said protective fabric is fixed in a removable manner on the various strands.
  • the second flanges comprise fastening means to the fasteners of said boat.
  • a removable cover covers the second flanges so as to form an impermeable double-roof.
  • the boat comprises a storage space dedicated to the removable cab device.
  • the removable cab device according to the invention is particularly intended to be positioned in an open boat, preferably, but not necessarily in the front part of the latter for an optimization of the available space.
  • this cabin can also be mounted in a boat already equipped with a fixed cabin and the user wants additional temporary shelter.
  • the cabin is advantageously configured to accommodate at least two people, especially for sleeping or resting.
  • the boat 3 When the structure is deflated, it can be easily folded and stored in the boat 3 with a minimum of space.
  • the boat 3 is also advantageously equipped with a storage space dedicated to the removable cab device object of the invention. It may be a trunk or a storage bag arranged on, or preferably under, the floor 30 of the boat 3. The interior space of the boat is then left free when the structure is deflated, folded and stored.
  • the different flanges, 1, 2a, 2b, 2c are preferably made of flexible inflatable PVC with a thickness of between 0.1 mm and 10 mm.
  • other inflatable materials resistant to climatic aggressions (sun, rain, cold, ...) and chemical (especially attacks of salt contained in seawater) and suitable for the skilled person can be employees.
  • the user inflates the structure using an automatic pump or a manual inflator and checks to the touch the rigidity of the different strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c.
  • the strands, 1, 2a, 2b, 2c are interconnected by conventional methods such as thermo-welding, gluing, sewing, etc. They can be independent, that is to say that they do not communicate with each other and each have their own inflation valve. In this case, provision can be made to use strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c, fixed together removably, by means of temporary fasteners of the type with loops and hooks (Velcro®), with snaps or any other equivalent means, allowing the user to modulate at will the configuration of the cabin. To simplify the shaping and installation of the cabin, however, it is preferred to provide a single-piece inflatable structure in which the flanges 1, 2a, 2b, 2c communicate with each other, so that only one valve is required. for inflating said structure.
  • Velcro® loops and hooks
  • the protective fabric 4 may be arranged over the second flanges 2a, 2b, 2c, arches, or, as shown in the accompanying figures, disposed between the various flanges. It can also be arranged at the entrance of the cabin to form a closed space. Openings (not shown), forming doors and / or windows may also be provided.
  • the fabric 4 is made of a material of the fabric type, waterproof or not, opaque or translucent, advantageously able to withstand climatic and chemical aggressions.
  • the protective fabric 4 is fixed permanently on the various strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c, by conventional methods such as heat-sealing, gluing, sewing, etc. However, the fabric 4 can be fixed in a removable manner on the different strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c.
  • This solution allows the user to change canvas according to the weather conditions. In case of sun, the fabric 4 may for example be of the translucent and ventilated type, of the tulle type, and in case of rain, it will be advantageous to use an impermeable fabric of the plastic tarpaulin type.
  • the detachable fastening of the fabric 4 to the strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c is carried out by fastening means of the hook and loop type (Velcro®), snap-fastener, or any other equivalent means suitable for the skilled person.
  • fastening means of the hook and loop type Velcro®
  • snap-fastener or any other equivalent means suitable for the skilled person.
  • the first bead 1 has the shape of a 'U' configured to be positioned between the inner side walls 31a, 31b of the boat 3. Since the first one has the shape of a 'U', it is by nature "open", that is to say which has no transverse element connecting the end of the side branches 10a and 10b. And preferably, the 'U' shape of the first coil 1 is an ogive, similar to the shapes of the front parts of the boats. The use of a 'U' shape has a number of advantages. First of all, the majority of boats have a front part having substantially the same shape.
  • the first bead 1 can therefore be easily positioned in this front part, by optimizing the space available on the boat 3 ( figure 5a ).
  • the structure is inflated and is shaped automatically adapting to the shape of the front portion of the boat 3.
  • the structure can be perfectly positioned in said boat.
  • the 'U' shape also makes it possible to simply hold the first bead 1 in position in the boat 3.
  • the outer spacing "D" between the lateral branches 10a, 10b first bead 1 is advantageously greater than or equal to the spacing "d" between the inner side walls 31a, 31b of the boat 3.
  • the lateral branches 10a, 10b of the first bead 1 are compressed and deformed slightly to come flat against the inner side walls 31 a, 31 b of the boat 3 ( figure 4b ). In this way, the inflatable structure is perfectly maintained in position in the boat 3, without the need to use additional attachment means.
  • the shape in 'U' further facilitates the positioning of the structure in the boat 3.
  • the outer spacing "D" between the side branches 10a, 10b of the first coil 1 is greater than the spacing "d
  • the lateral branches 10a, 10b of the first strand 1 may preferentially be brought closer to one another in an elastic manner in order to reduce the outer spacing "D". Therefore, for the establishment of the structure, the user has only to bring the two lateral branches 10a, 10b, of the first coil 1 so that the outer spacing "D" becomes lower or equal to the spacing "d”.
  • the inflatable structure comprises second flanges 2a, 2b, 2c arranged in the form of arches, above said first flange.
  • the structure comprises two parallel arches 2a and 2b connecting the lateral branches 10a and 10b of the first coil 1.
  • the first arch 2a connects the two ends of the lateral branches 10a and 10b while the second arch 2b substantially connects the middle of said side branches.
  • other configurations are possible. It is also possible to use only one arch 2a connecting the two ends of the lateral branches 10a and 10b of the first coil 1, but in practice, the presence of the second arch 2b gives more strength and better rigidity to the inflatable.
  • a third arch 2c, perpendicular to the other two arches 2a and 2b complete the inflatable structure to give it an optimal strength and rigidity.
  • the third arch 2c has one end connected to the transverse branch of the first coil 1, and another end connected to the top of one or both other arches 2a, 2b.
  • the inflatable structure has a profile comparable to a half warhead ( figures 1a and 4a ), limiting the catch to the wind.
  • the third arch 2c connects the vertices of the two arches 2a and 2b.
  • the third arch 2c connects only the top of the first arch 2a or the top of the second arch 2b.
  • the configuration of the inflatable structure is not limited to those described and shown in the accompanying figures, a lower or upper number of arches can be provided.
  • the second flanges 2a, 2b, 2c advantageously comprise fixing means 7 to the fasteners 8 of said boat.
  • rings attached to the second strands 2a, 2b, 2c are provided with ropes or tensioners connecting said rings to the attachments 8 of the boat 3.
  • other equivalent fastening means suitable for the person skilled in the art may be provided.
  • the removable cab device object of the invention advantageously comprises a removable mat 5 of complementary shape of the first coil 1.
  • the mattress 5 is intended to be positioned on the floor 30, against the inner wall of the first bead 1.
  • This mattress 5 is configured to form a berth to accommodate people lying down to sleep, which improves comfort from the cabin. It can also be positioned outside the cabin and be used independently, for example for sunbathing.
  • the mattress 5 is in principle configured to receive at least two people lying down.
  • the mattress 5 is advantageously made of flexible inflatable PVC with a thickness of between 1 mm and 10 mm.
  • the user inflates the mattress 5 with the aid of an automatic pump or a manual inflator and checks to the touch its hardness.
  • the mattress 5 can, however, be made of non-inflatable materials, such as as polyurethane foams or other materials commonly used for the manufacture of mattresses or cushion for boat.
  • a removable cover 9 covers the second flanges 2a, 2b, 2c, so as to form an impermeable double-roof.
  • the removable cover 9 is used when the fabric 4 is not waterproof and it is necessary to protect against the weather and / or moisture.
  • the removable cover 9 is advantageously fixed on the third arch 2c by removable fastening means of the hook and loop type (Velcro®), snap, or any other equivalent means suitable for the skilled person.
  • the sheet 9 is then stretched by means of ropes or elastics attached to the boat and passing through eyelets 90 disposed on the edges of said sheet.
  • the different strands 1, 2a, 2b, 2c can also be equipped with hooks that hook into the eyelets 90.
