Abstract

Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Trocknung in einer Wirbelschicht erfolgt, die Trocknungsendtemperatur des Produktes 100°C nicht übersteigt und die Produktendfeuchte geringer ist als 1200 ppm, wobei als Trockner (3) ein Wirbelschichttrockner vorgesehen ist und in die fluidisierte Schicht Wärmetauscher (4) eingebaut sind. Damit lässt sich eine schonende Trocknung der kristallinen Carbonsäuren, beispielsweise Terephthalsäure mit niedrigen Temperaturen bei gleichzeitig geringer Endfeuchte erreichen. Anbackungsprobleme bzw. notwendige Kühlungen können dadurch verhindert werden.
