Die Innenfläche der Aufnahmepfanne 6 geht dabei etwas über eine Halbkugel hinaus, so dass sie einem Kugelflächensegment entspricht, welches mehr als nur die Hälfte einer Kugeloberfläche ausmacht. Die über eine Halbkugel hinausgehenden Randbereiche des Kugelflächensegments bilden den Hinterschnitt 7, welcher den Kugelkopf 5 an der Abstützplatte hält. Ist der Abstützkopf 5 ganz in die Aufnahmepfanne 6 hineingeschoben, verformt sich das elastische Material zurück, so dass der Hinterschnitt 7 den Abstützkopf nun an der Abstützplatte hält. Der Abstützkopf und die Aufnahmepfanne weisen dabei im wesentlichen den gleichen Radius auf, wobei der Radius der Aufnahmepfanne leicht größer sein kann als der des Abstützkopfes. An den zylinderförmigen Bereich 13 schließt der kugelflächenförmige Aufnahmebereich 6 an, welcher größer ist als eine Halbkugel und so durch seine Form selbst den Hinterschnitt 7 bildet. Die Verdrehbarkeit der Abstützplatte am Abstützzylinder wird dabei lediglich durch die Dicke des Halses 11 des Abstützkopfes 5, die Höhe des zylinderförmigen Bereichs 13 sowie die Dicke der Wandung 12 der Aufnahmepfanne bestimmt.
