- Essential to the invention is a simple construction and the fact that the starting components meet only within a removable nozzle tip, so that hardening of the working materials inside the device is prevented during breaks in work. It has been found that directly actuated needle valves have significant advantages over other valve systems, such as check valves, as they may become clogged in the nozzle tip if used improperly, resulting in significant back pressure. By the needle valves, it is possible to safely prevent unwanted returns of material from the nozzle tip in the delivery channels, so that a blockage or damage to the essential components of the spray gun is prevented. It is only necessary in such a case to replace the nozzle tip in order to restore the functional state. It is particularly advantageous if the valve needles by springs in their closed Position are biased. The opening movement takes place by mechanical drive against the action of the spring. In this way, a predefined closing force of the needle valves can be adjusted.
