Claims (14)
- A partition wall, in particular a shower partition wall, containing a door panel (2) and at least one hinge (8), the hinge parts (10, 12) whereof can be fastened, on the one hand, to the door panel (2) and, on the other hand, to a wall panel (4), wherein the door panel (2) is pivotable about a substantially vertical pivot axis (6) defined by means of the hinge (8), wherein passage is blocked by means of the door panel (2) in a first position and in a second position passage through the partition wall is at least partially opened, wherein a lifting mechanism with a bearing element (44) and a pressure element (46) is integrated in the hinge (8) in such a manner that when it swings out of the first position, the door panel (2) can be lifted upwards in a vertical direction, and that a cover at least partially surrounding the lifting mechanism is provided,

the lifting mechanism is arranged inside the separately formed cover which is designed as a covering cap (14), wherein the lifting mechanism, just as with a coupling element of the two hinge parts (10, 12) configured as a hinge bolt (52) and, in addition, the covering cap (14) are at least partially arranged in a recess (21) in the first hinge part (10), wherein the covering cap (14) has a slot (30) running substantially parallel to the rotational axis (6), through which slot a hinge arm (20) of the second hinge part (12) projects into the inside of the covering cap (14) and wherein the hinge bolt (52) and/or the lifting mechanism are arranged at the end of the hinge arm (20) lying inside the covering cap (14). - The partition wall according to claim 1, characterized in that the door panel (2) has a recess (22) which is of open configuration in the direction of the second hinge part (12).
- The partition wall according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the covering cap (14) is secured to prevent rotation by means of the hinge arm (20) and/or that the slot (30) is of open configuration, in particular to the lower end of the covering cap (14).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the covering cap (14) has a height (31) that is at least approximately equal to a space (26) between bearing elements (24, 25) of the first hinge part (10).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the covering cap (14) is axially secured in the first hinge part (10) in the direction of the pivot axis (6) and/or is arranged in an axially movable manner in respect of the second hinge part (12) in the direction of the pivot axis (6).
- The partition wall according to claim 1 to 5, characterized in that a sealing element (28) is arranged in the recess (21) of the first hinge part (10), which sealing element bears against the outer face (27) of the covering cap (14) in a sealing manner and/or that the outer face (27) is configured at least via the pivot range of the door panel (2) substantially cylindrically and coaxially to the pivot axis (6).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the lifting mechanism and, in particular, the bearing element (44) thereof and the pressure element (46) thereof are arranged substantially coaxially to the hinge bolt (52) of the two hinge parts (10, 12).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the lifting mechanism contains first and second guide bodies (54, 55) and/or that the guide bodies (54, 55) are preferably arranged below the pressure element (46), wherein the bearing element (44) is arranged above the pressure element (46).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the hinge bolt (52) engages with its ends in bearing elements (24, 25) of the first hinge part (10), wherein the recess (21) and/or the covering cap (14) are arranged at least partially between the bearing elements (24, 25).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the pivot axis (6) is arranged in a substantially vertical plane which runs through the door element (2) or, alternatively, through the wall panel (4).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that between the vertical edges facing one another of the door panel (2) and the wall panel (4) is arranged a preferably continuous sealing strip (35), wherein the hinge arm (20) of the second hinge part (12) overlaps the continuous sealing strip (35) in the region of the hinge (8).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the covering cap (14) has a cover (29) with a central opening at the top end, through which the hinge bolt (52) engages.
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the covering cap (14) has a web (36) in the region of the upper end and above the slot (30).
- The partition wall according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the hinge (8) is configured in such a manner that the door panel (2) can be swung up starting from the first position in both directions about a predefined angle range of preferably at least 90° in each case, advantageously at least 100°, wherein the entire pivoting range is defined as at least approximately 180° and advantageously 200°.
