The bolt with its ends is engaged into upper and lower hubs (12, 11) of the opening edge sided hinge part in a rotatable and axially shiftable manner such that a guiding unit (17) is accommodated in the lower hub. A compression spring (21) counteracting the stroke movement is arranged in the upper hub, where the spring is supported in an upper front side of the bolt.

Description

The invention relates to a door hinge for a door opening associated, self-closing door with a door attached to the door and mounted in the region of the edge of the door hinge part, wherein the two hinge parts by means of a hinge pin against each other rotatable and mutually slidably connected to each other in the axial direction, wherein the Hinge bolt is firmly connected to one of the two hinge parts and at least one at least a portion of a screw groove comprehensive Kulissennut, into which engages a recorded on the other hinge part guide element.

In an arrangement of this type, the door leaf is raised against gravity during an opening pivoting movement, which subsequently causes a lowering while simultaneously performing a closing movement.

From the US 2002/0062533 A1 An arrangement of the kind mentioned is known. This describes an automatic door closer, which uses gravity to close the door. The hinge has a first and a second hinge part, which are mutually rotatable by means of a hinge pin, wherein the hinge pin is fixedly connected to the second hinge part via a central hinge part. The hinge pin engages with its ends rotatable and axially displaceable in associated hubs of the first hinge part. The hinge pin has a helical surface at the lower end, which is engageable with a helical surface of the lower hub. In the upper hub is a helical spring counteracting a lifting movement of the hinge pin arranged, which is supported on the hinge pin. The coil spring is supported by a ball ring on the upper end side of the hinge pin. The ball ring is punctiform at several points directly on the upper end face of the hinge pin. The coil spring comprises the axial, upwardly projecting rod from the hinge pin and is supported on a washer, which in turn rests on the ball ring. The ball ring takes in the middle of the axial rod completely and is in the outer region in each case on several point supports on the front side of the hinge pin. It therefore results in an annular contact surface with a comparatively large diameter and large total area.

Ein gattungsgemäßes Türband ist ebenso aus CH259775 bekannt.A generic door hinge is also off CH259775 known.

On this basis, it is the object of the present invention to improve the door hinge so that a high reliability and freedom from interference is achieved and yet an aesthetically pleasing design is possible.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.

The door hinge is provided with a mounted on a door leaf and a mounted in the region of the edge of the door opening hinge part, wherein the two hinge parts by means of a hinge pin against each other rotatable and mutually slidably connected to each other in the axial direction. The hinge pin (6) is fixedly connected to one of the two hinge parts and has at least one at least a portion of a thread, radial gate groove into which engages a received on the other hinge part, protruding from a radially screwed into the hinge screw screw guide element. The hinge pin is attached to the wing-side hinge part and engages with its ends rotatable and axially displaceable in associated hubs of the opening edge-side hinge part. The engaging in the cam groove guide member is received in the lower hub, wherein in the upper hub of a lifting movement of the hinge pin counteracting compression spring is arranged, which tapers over a downward Supporting element is supported at least axially close to the upper end side of the hinge pin. The support element is designed as a ball and is punctiform on the upper end side of the hinge pin.

These measures result in an embodiment in which the hinge pin is raised and lowered with the door during a pivoting movement. It is therefore possible to associate the compression spring supporting the lowering movement and thus the closing movement of the end face of the upper, engaging in the upper hub of the opening edge side hinge part end of the hinge pin. The compression spring can therefore be arranged in an advantageous manner in the upper hub and therefore does not appear open, which has an advantageous effect on the design beauty and the prevention of accidents. At the same time results in an advantageous manner, an axial succession of hinge pin and compression spring, so that their force is introduced into the upper end face of the raised and lowered hinge pin. The fact that the compression spring is supported by a downwardly tapered support element at least close to the axis of the upper end of the hinge pin, the closing pivotal movement counteracting friction moments are largely excluded, which is very conducive to solving the problem in terms of fault-free and reliable. In addition, a punctiform, coaxial contact with the upper end face of the hinge pin is made possible by the formation of the support element as a ball in an advantageous manner. The ball is also suitable for receiving the annular, lower end of the compression spring. The measures according to the invention therefore provide high reliability and reliability as well as a slim design and thus a good aesthetics.

Advantageous embodiments and expedient developments of the higher-level measures are specified in the subclaims.

A particularly advantageous measure to promote reliability and freedom from interference may be that at least the areas engaging in the hubs, the hinge pin are provided with a circumferential sliding coating. This increases the ease of movement. The lubricious coating may advantageously be formed as a diamond dust coating. The sliding coating can make a support element of the above type dispensable and vice versa. Of course, the two measures can also be used mutually supportive at the same time.

In a further development of the higher-level measures, the guide groove may have a rectangular cross section, so that the sliding element may be designed as a sliding block. This results in a very robust design that ensures high reliability and freedom from interference. The sliding block can simply be designed as a front cylinder journal of a screw which can be screwed into the front hub.

A further advantageous embodiment may consist in that the slide groove is formed as a self-contained oblique groove with 180 ° offset from one another vertices. The endless design of the gate groove facilitates the production. At the same time, this version also allows use with swing doors. In addition, the same hinge pin can be used for both right-opening and left-opening door wings.

In the drawing described below:
FIG. 1
a horizontal section through a door assembly,
FIG. 2
a door hinge of the arrangement according to FIG. 1 partly in section,
FIG. 3
an exploded view of the opening edge side hinge part of the arrangement according to FIG. 2 without spring and
FIG. 4
the upper hub of the arrangement according to FIG. 3 with built-in, cooperating with the hinge pin compression spring.

The the FIG. 1 underlying door assembly includes a provided for closing an associated door opening 1 door leaf 2, which is supported by a plurality of, usually two offset in height staggered door hinges 3 pivotally mounted on an edge of the door opening 1. The hinges 3 each contain a hinged part 4 mounted in the region of the associated vertical edge of the door opening 1 and a hinge part 5 attached to the opposite edge of the door leaf 2.

The two hinge parts 4, 5 are connected to each other by means of a hinge pin 6. The hinge pin 6 is fixedly connected to the wing-side hinge part 5 and movable with the opening edge side hinge part 4 in engagement, wherein a pivoting movement and axial movement is possible. The wing-side hinge part 5 has a wing 2 fixable support arm 7, on which one of the best FIG. 2 removable sleeve 8 is fixed, which is attached to the hinge pin 6 and firmly connected thereto. In the example shown, the sleeve 8 is pinned by means of a continuous pin 9 with the hinge pin 6.

The opening edge-side hinge part 4 contains, as FIG. 2 can be seen, a fixable at the associated opening edge, here angular support member 10, the two axially spaced from each other, aligned superposed hubs 11, 12, into which the hinge pin 6 rotatably engages with its end portions and displaceable in the axial direction. The angular formation of the support piece 10 advantageously allows its engagement in the fold of a door frame and a corner of the door frame embracing arrangement, such as FIG. 1 clearly shows. The support piece 10 may be placed or sunk.

The hubs 11, 12 may be permanently connected to the support piece 10. In the illustrated example, the hubs 11, 12 are as best as possible FIG. 3 can be seen, releasably secured by screws 13 on the support piece 10. The hubs 11, 12 come with a contact surface 14 on the opposite mating surface of a leg of the support member 10 to the plant, which is provided with the screws 13 associated through holes, which are assigned to the hub side provided threaded holes 15. The screws 13 are expediently provided with a countersunk head. Accordingly, the associated through holes are formed as sink holes. The multi-part construction of the hinge parts and in particular of the hinge part 4 with releasably and thus replaceably attachable to the support piece 10 hub 11,12 results in a high versatility with many possible combinations.

The engaging in the hubs 11, 12 hinge pin 6 is provided to achieve a smooth bearing at least in the region of its engaging in the hubs 11, 12 ends with a sliding coating. Diamond powder may preferably be used to form the lubricious coating. The movable in the hubs 11, 12 engaging hinge pin 6 passes through the fixed hereby associated sleeve 8 of the wing-side hinge part 5, which in the assembled state, as from FIG. 2 it can be seen, located in the area between the hubs 11, 12. The length of the sleeve 8 is smaller than the axial distance of the hubs 11, 12, so that a lifting movement of the sleeve 8 is possible.

At least one of the stacked door hinges, preferably all stacked door hinges, is or are provided with a self-closing mechanism, wherein the door leaf 2 together with the parts attached thereto in the course of the opening pivoting movement is raised against gravity and wherein, as the open Door 2 is released, the weight causes a reversal of motion with lowering and simultaneous closing movement.

For this purpose, the hinge pin 6, as the Figures 2 and 3 can be seen further provided in its engaging in the lower hub end portion with at least one at least a portion of a thread comprehensive Kulissennut 16, into which engages a received on the lower hub 11 of the peripheral hinge part 4 guide member 17. The Kulissennut 16 has, as best of FIG. 3 can be seen, a rectangular cross-section. The engaging in the cam groove 16 guide member 17 may be formed as a stationary arranged sliding block. In the example shown, this is how best off FIG. 3 can be seen, a cylinder pin provided, which protrudes from a screwed into an associated threaded bore 18 of the hub 11, suitably designed as a grub screw screw 19. The co-operating with the guide groove 16 guide member causes a conversion of a pivoting movement in an axial movement and vice versa, which leads in the desired manner for lifting the door leaf 2 when opening and closing the door leaf 2 when lowering.

The Kulissennut 16 is how FIG. 3 can be seen, as a circumferential oblique groove formed with 180 ° staggered vertices. The slope, that is the axial distance of the vertex corresponds at most to in FIG. 2 indicated difference d between the clear axial distance of the two hubs 11,12 and the length of the sleeve 8 arranged therebetween. The said slope is in the illustrated example advantageously 10mm. The inclination angle, ie the slope of the groove groove forming the inclined groove is preferably 45 °, which gives both when lifting and when lowering the door good sliding conditions.

The hinge pin 6 is set in the mounting position so that the engaging in the cam groove 16 guide member 17 in the closed position of the door leaf 2 is slightly below the upper apex of the cam groove 16 so that the door 2 in a reliable investment in an associated, Opening edge side bearing surface holding force is generated. In this way, when the door leaf is opened, the lower vertex is run over, which advantageously leads to the fact that the door is automatically kept open in the last angular range of the opening movement. Suitably, the guide element 17 is in the closed position 15-20 pivot angle degrees in front of the upper vertex.

The pin 9, which connects the hinge pin 6 with the sleeve 8, associated hole may be predrilled. Advantageously, a plurality of predrilled holes may be provided in the hinge pin 6, so that different rotational positions of the hinge pin 6 can be selected in the starting position. But it would also be possible to drill the hole assigned to the pin 9 on site, so that any desired setting can be achieved.

Suitably, the hinge pin 6 may be provided with an externally visible angle marking. For this purpose, the hinge pin 6 provided with a in the region of its lower end face, in FIG. 3 indicated notch 20 may be provided, which is visible through an associated opening of the lower hub 11. In the example shown, the lower hub 11 is simply open at the bottom, so that the notch 20 is accessible from below. It would also be conceivable to design the notch 20 in such a way that a tool can be attached by means of which the hinge pin 6 can be rotated for the purpose of setting it before its connection to the bush 8.

In the upper hub 12 of the opening edge-side hinge part 4 is like the Figures 2 and 4 let recognize a one of a lifting movement of the door leaf 2 and thus the associated hinge pin 6 counteracting compression spring 21 arranged with its upper end to a here the upper hub upwardly closing, hub side transverse wall 22 and with its lower end on the upper face of the its upper end portion in the upper hub 11 engaging hinge pin 6 is supported. Between the lower end of the compression spring 21 and the upper end face of the hinge pin 6, a support member 23 is arranged, which transmits the spring force to the hinge pin 6.

The support element 23 is designed so that as central as possible force introduction into the hinge pin 6 is achieved. For this purpose, the support element 23 has a downwardly converging contour. In the illustrated example, the support member 23 is formed as a ball which rests practically punctiform in the region of the axis of the hinge pin 6 at this. At the same time results in the upper half of the ball an upwardly converging contour with which the ball can engage in the annular, lower end of the compression spring 21, so that there is a clean investment on the entire circumference and a reliable centering of the ball.

The outer diameter of the compression spring 21 corresponds in the compressed state, the clear diameter of the bore of the upper hub 11, which results in a reliable centering. The same may apply to the diameter of the ball 23 forming the support element. In the example shown, the diameter of the ball is slightly smaller, so that this has motion play.

The bias of the compression spring 21 in the closed state can be suitably adapted to the conditions of the case. In simple cases, the compression spring 21 can be replaced or washers used for this purpose. It would also be conceivable, instead of the transverse wall 22 to provide a screwed into the upper end of the upper hub 11, cooperating with the compression spring 21 screw.

A preferred field of application of the invention are sauna and / or bath room doors. But any other door in which a self-closing effect or a pendulum function is desired, comes into question.
