Claims (13)

  1. Reel furnace having a strip reeling device, the strip reeling device (4) comprising a reel shaft (6), a reel drum (11) supported on the reel shaft and at least one stirrup clamp (14), the reel shaft passing through a furnace wall (2a, 2b) delimiting the inner space (5) of the reel furnace (1) and being supported rotatably in supporting bearings (8, 9) outside the reel furnace, and the reel drum and the at least one stirrup clamp being positioned with respect to one another by means of a connection element (16), and a gap (15) for receiving a strip head being set between the reel drum and the at least one stirrup clamp, characterized in that the reel drum (11) is designed as a closed body and the connection element (16) is designed as an actuating device (17) for fixing a specific gap width between the reel drum and the stirrup clamp and for clamping a strip head which has entered the gap.
  2. Reel furnace according to Claim 1, characterized in that the reel shaft (6) and the stirrup clamp (14) pass through a furnace wall (2a, 2b) delimiting the inner space of the reel furnace, and the actuating device (17) is arranged outside the inner space (5) of the reel furnace (1).
  3. Reel furnace according to Claim 2, characterized in that the furnace wall (2a, 2b) is designed in the passage region of the reel shaft (6) and the stirrup clamp (14) as a disk (23, 24) co-rotating with the reel shaft.
  4. Reel furnace according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating device (17) comprises a carrying frame (32) with guides (35, 35a), the carrying frame being arranged fixedly in terms of rotation on the reel shaft (6), and a link (33) carrying the stirrup clamp (14) and having counterstays (40) being guided on the guides of said carrying frame, and the guides and counterstays being designed to allow a relative movement varying the gap width of the gap (15) between the stirrup clamp (14) and the reel drum (11).
  5. Reel furnace according to Claim 4, characterized in that the guides on the carrying frame and the counterstays on the link are oriented radially with respect to the axis of rotation (7) of the reel shaft (6).
  6. Reel furnace according to Claim 3 or 3 and 4, characterized in that the carrying frame is fastened to the co-rotating disk of the furnace wall or is integrated into the furnace wall.
  7. Reel furnace according to one of the preceding Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the actuating device (17) comprises an adjusting frame (32) with guides and a link (33) which is relatively movable with respect to this and carries the stirrup clamp (14) and which has counterstays, in that the adjusting frame (32) is supported displaceably on a fixed supporting structure (21), and an actuating member, preferably a hydraulic pressure medium cylinder (39), engages on the adjusting frame and, in turn, is supported on the fixed supporting structure.
  8. Reel furnace according to Claim 7, characterized in that the adjusting frame (32) is supported on the fixed supporting structure (21) so as to be relatively movable parallel to the axis of rotation (7) of the reel shaft (6) and is acted upon by the actuating member (39), and the guides (35, 35a) on the adjusting frame and the counterstays (40) on the link (33) are oriented at an angle to the axis of rotation (7) of the reel shaft (6).
  9. Reel furnace according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the actuating device (17) comprises a carrying frame (51) connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the reel shaft (6), in that the carrying frame is assigned a pivot axis (53) oriented parallel to the axis of rotation (7) of the reel shaft, in that a pivoting mechanism (60) is arranged pivotably on this pivot axis and is coupled along one of its extents to the stirrup clamp (14) and along another of its extents to an actuating member (39) which is supported on the carrying frame (51).
  10. Reel furnace according to Claim 9, characterized in that the pivoting mechanism (60) is formed by a two-armed lever (54).
  11. Reel furnace according to Claim 9, characterized in that the pivoting mechanism (60) comprises a parallel link arrangement (64, 65, 66) for tying up the stirrup clamp (14).
  12. Reel furnace according to one of Claims 9 to 11, characterized in that the actuating member (39) is formed by a pressure medium cylinder (39) and this pressure medium cylinder is assigned a control block incorporated into the plant control loop.
  13. Use of a reel furnace having a strip reeling device according to one of the preceding claims, arranged essentially in the inner space of the reel furnace, in the reversing hot rolling of a metal strip, preferably of a steel strip.
