Hierzu wird die Drehbewegung der Hauptwelle 16 über zwei Kettenräder 17a, 17b und eine Kette 17 auf eine Welle 43 übertragen, welche über eine sogenannte Oldham-Kupplung mit einer Schwingenantriebswelle 42 gekoppelt ist. Durch die Oldham-Kupplung wird ein Versetzen der Drehachsen der Wellen 42, 43 zueinander ermöglicht. Auf der Schwingenantriebswelle 42, welche mit Gleitsteinen 44 mit Kugellagern 44a im Steuerende der Steuerschwinge 12 gelagert ist, sitzt eine Exzenterbüchse 42a, welche bei Rotation dieser Welle 42 eine Hubbewegung der Steuerendes der Steuerschwinge 12 bewirkt. Die Exzenterbüchse 42a ist mit zwei Nadellagern 45 im Kopf einer Verstellspindel 40 gelagert. Die Gleitsteine 44 sind in horizontalen Schlitzen im Steuerende der Steuerschwinge 12 geführt und weisen so den nötigen Freiheitsgrad auf. Die Spindel 40 kann zum Einstellen der Vorrichtung auf unterschiedliche Dicken des vorzuschiebenden Bandmaterials 22 nach oben oder unten verstellt werden, indem nach einem Lösen einer Sicherungsschraube 39 eine in einem Flansch 37 gelagerte Spindelmutter 38 verdreht wird. Um die Spindel 40 dabei gegen Verdrehen zu sichern, ist ein Führungselement 41 vorhanden, in welchem der Kopf der Spindel 40 in einem Schlitz vertikal verschieblich geführt ist.The

- A device for intermittently supplying a strip- or wire-shaped semi-finished material (22) to a press, with a sliding clamp (4, 7) which runs forwards and backwards in operation for advancing the semi-finished material (22) in an advance phase, a fixed gripping clamp (24, 27) for securing the semi-finished material (22) in a non-advance phase and a control rocker (12) with a rocker drive (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45) coupled to a control end thereof, the sliding clamp (4, 7) and the gripping clamp (24, 27) being coupled mechanically to the control rocker (12) such that in operation they can be alternately opened and closed by moving the control end of the control rocker (12) back and forth with the rocker drive (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45) for the purpose of permitting an alternate advance and securing of the semi-finished material (22) with the device, characterised in that the control rocker (12) and the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) are designed and coupled together such that in the absence of a supporting or actuating force exerted by the rocker drive (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45) on the control end of the control rocker (12) both clamps (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45) are closed.
- A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27), viewed in a direction transversely to a pivot axis of the control rocker (12), are coupled at spaced-apart points to the control rocker (12) and the point of coupling of the sliding clamp (4, 7) to the control rocker (12) is arranged in particular centrally between the point of coupling of the gripping clamp (24, 27) and the control end of the control rocker (12).
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the device is designed such that the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) can be alternately opened and closed in operation by moving the control end of the control rocker (12) back and forth.
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that one or more pre-stressed spring elements (29), in particular one or more pressure springs (29) and/or tension springs, act on the control rocker (12) such that closing of the clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) is supported by the spring force thereof.
- A device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27), viewed in a direction transversely to a pivot axis of the control rocker (12), are coupled at spaced-apart points to the control rocker (12) and the point of application of force of the spring element (29) or, in the case of a plurality of spring elements, the resultant point of application of force, lies in particular centrally in the region between the two coupling points of the clamps (4, 7; 24, 27).
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) each have an upper clamp half (4, 24) and a lower clamp half (7, 27), which can be moved towards one another to close the clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) and can be moved away from one another to open the clamps (4, 7; 24, 27), the lower clamp half (7, 27) being designed to be immobile in the closing direction and the upper clamp half (4, 24) to be mobile in the closing direction.
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) each have a clamp half (7, 27) which is immobile in the closing direction and a clamp half (4, 24) which is mobile in the closing direction, and are coupled to the control rocker (12) such that upon opening or closing the respective clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) the control rocker (12) in the region of the coupling point of the respective clamp (4, 7; 24, 27) performs a movement in the same direction with the opening or closing movement of the mobile clamp half (4, 24).
- A device according to Claim 7, characterised in that the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) are each coupled to the control rocker (12) via a single guiding element (11, 32).
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the device for bringing about the back-and-forth movement of the control end of the control rocker (12) has a rocker drive (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45) which can transmit actuating forces both in the loading and unloading directions, in particular a connecting-rod drive or eccentric drive (40, 42, 42a, 44, 45).
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control rocker (12) is connected via a guiding element (14, 14a) to a component (23) which is fixed on the device, and in particular in that the point of coupling of the guiding element (14, 14a) to the control rocker (12) coincides with the point of coupling of one of the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27), in particular with the point of coupling, closest to the control end, of one of the two clamps (4, 7; 24, 27) to the control rocker (12).
- A device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that all the points of introduction of force into the control rocker (12), or in the case of several points of introduction for the same force the respective resultant points of introduction of force, lie in a plane at right-angles to a pivot axis of the control rocker (12), such that the control rocker (12) is free from torsional moment in operation.
- A device according to Claim 11, characterised in that the plane in which the points of introduction of force lie leads in operation through the longitudinal axis of a semi-finished material (22) which is to be advanced with the device.
