Zum einschlägigen Stand der Technik wird auf die DE-A-100 23 658 C1 und die DE-A-10 2004 009 483 A1 verwiesen. Um die von entsprechenden Geräten zur Herstellung der Etikettenhülsen hergestellten Etikettenhülsen von unten an die an der Packstoffbahn ausgeformten Becher heranbringen zu können, sind Querfördervorrichtungen der eingangs genannten Art erforderlich, die sich von den genannten Herstellungsgeräten bis unter die eine Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine durchlaufende Packstoffbahn erstrecken.
Die bekannten Geräte zur Erzeugung der Etikettenhülsen stülpen die hergestellten Etikettenhülsen einzeln nacheinander auf die darunter vorbeifahrenden Aufnahmedorne des Querförderers auf, der die aufgesteckten Etikettenhülsen unter die Packstoffbahn fördert, und zwar jeweils fluchtend zu jedem Becher einer Becherquerreihe in der Packstoffbahn. Bei stillstehendem Querförderer werden die Etikettenhülsen mit geeigneten Hebeelementen von den Aufnahmedornen abgehoben und von unten auf die Becher aufgeschoben. Danach schließt sich eine Wärmebehandlung der an den Seitenwänden der Becher sitzenden Etikettenhülsen an, um diese an die Becher anzuheften. Während der Übergabe der Etikettenhülsen einer Gruppe an eine entsprechende Gruppe von Bechern in einer Becherquerreihe der Packstoffbahn ist eine Bestückung einer Folgegruppe von Aufnahmedornen des Querförderers mit Etikettenhülsen nicht möglich, da die Bestückung, bedingt durch das Gerät für die Hülsenherstellung, im Durchlauf erfolgt. Die quasi schrittweise Bestückung der Aufnahmedorne einerseits und die Übergabe der Etikettenhülsen an die Becher en bloc können also nur zeitlich getrennt erfolgen. Hinzu kommt noch, daß aus gleichem Grunde eine bereits mit Etikettenhülsen beladene Gruppe von Aufnahmedornen des Querförderers nur im Beladungsschritt-Takt in die Übergabeposition unter die Packstoffbahn mit ihren Bechern gefahren werden kann. Die an sich hohe Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit der Geräte zur Herstellung der Etikettenhülse ist also nicht ausnutzbar.
Ferner offenbart das Dokument DE 10 2004 041949 B1 eine Vorrichtung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.

Sollten bei der Zuförderung einer Gruppe von Einzelpackungen detektierte Unregelmäßigkeiten auftreten, dabei aber die Weiterförderung und Abgabe vorausgeförderter Gruppen nicht unterbrochen werden soll, ist deshalb der Endlosförderer nach dieser EP-A-0695703 mit zwei Fördersträngen versehen, die separat gesteuert angetrieben werden können. Dadurch ist es möglich, die mit Unregelmäßigkeiten behaftete Gruppe des einen Förderstranges in Ordnung zu bringen, während die vorausgelaufene, einwandfreie Gruppe des anderen Förderstranges normal zur Abgabestelle weiterlaufen kann. Der Querförderer weist dafür mindestens zwei Gruppen von Aufnahmedorne auf, die jedoch in sich mindestens einreihig angeordnet, aber gruppenweise jeweils an einem anderen Strangpaar befestigt sind, was noch näher erläutert wird. Die Strangpaare sind dabei unabhängig voneinander bewegbar. Die Vorrichtung besteht unter Verweis auf Fig.1 und Fig.10 aus einem quer zur in Fig. 10 nur gestrichelt angedeuteten Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine 100 im Schritt-Takt geförderten Packstoffbahn PB angeordneten Querförderer 3. Die Endlosförderstränge des Querförderers 3 sind über antreibbare Umlenkscheiben 2 zwecks Schlupfvermeidung zwangsgeführt. Die Endlosförderstränge sind ferner bezüglich ihrer Förderbewegung in Abhängigkeit vom Takt der Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine 100 gesteuert. Außerdem sind die Förderstränge des Querförderers 3 mit Aufnahmedornen 5 für die Etikettenhülsen S bestückt und zwar in Gruppen 4 bzw. 4' zusammengefaßt, die untereinander beabstandet sind. Die Anzahl der Aufnahmedorne 5 einer Gruppe entspricht dabei der Anzahl der in einer Querreihe R' der Packstoffbahn PB eingeformten Becher B.
Bei allen nachfolgend beschriebenen Ausführungsformen ist der Einfachheit halber davon ausgegangen, daß an der Packstoffbahn PB Querreihen R' (siehe Fig.2) mit jeweils vier Bechern B vorhanden sind, die sich in Förderrichtung P mit vier Längsreihen R" darstellen (siehe Fig.10). Außerdem sind in Fig.10 der Vollständigkeit halber stark schematisiert mit 101 eine Füllstation, mit 102 eine Schließstation, mit 103 die steuerbaren Antriebe der Umlenkscheiben 2 der Förderstränge des Querförderers 3 und mit 104 die Gesamtsteuerung bezeichnet, mit der auch das Herstellgerät 1 für die Etikettenhülsen S und die Antriebe 103 des Querförderers verschaltet sind. Bei der Dars tellung in Fig.10 handelt es sich nur um ein Ausführungsbeispiel, d.h., der bzw. die Querförderer 3 können auch schon vor der Füllstation 101 angeordnet sein, um die dann noch ungefüllten Becher B zu etikettieren.

Für die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung ist nun wesentlich, daß der Querförderer 3 zur Erfassung mindestens einer Becherquerreihe R' der Packstoffbahn PB aus mindestens zwei separaten Endlossträngen I,II gebildet ist, die auf separat gesteuert antreibbaren Umlenkscheiben 2 schlupffrei geführt sind. An den Endlossträgen I,II ist jeweils mindestens eine Gruppe 4,4' von Aufnahmedornen 5 angeordnet, wobei jede Gruppe 4,4' (siehe Fig.1) die Aufnahmedorne 5 mit einer Anzahl enthält, die der Anzahl der Becher B in einer Querreihe R' der Packstofbahn PB entspricht. Die Aufnahmedorne 5 beider Gruppen 4,4' sind auf einer gemeinsamen Bewegungsgeraden BG (siehe Fig.7) bewegbar und ferner sind die Gruppen 4,4' unter das Herstellungsgerät 1 für die Etikettenhülsen S einerseits mit der Abgabegeschwindigkeit des Herstellungsgerätes 1 angepaßter Geschwindigkeit bewegbar und andererseits ist dabei die jeweils andere Gruppe an der Übergabestelle ÜS der Etikettenhülsen S an die Becher B fluchtend zu den Bechern B zum Stillstand bringbar. Die im Bereich der Übergabestelle ÜS angeordneten Hebeelemente 6 (siehe Fig.3-6) sind aus der Bewegungsstrecke der mit den Gruppen 4,4' bestücken Stränge I,II ausrückbar ausgebildet und angeordnet.
Wesentlich beim Ganzen ist auch, daß die Antriebe 103 des Querförderers 3 (siehe Fig.10) und des zugehörigen Herstellgerätes 1 für die Etikettenhülsen S, wie vorerwähnt, mit der Gesamtsteuerung 104 verschaltet sind.

Um zweckmäßig und bevorzugt gleichzeitig zwei Becherquerreihen R' mit Etikettenhülsen zu bestücken, ist der Querförderer 3 zur Erfassung zweier Becherquerreihen R' (siehe Fig.2) in der Packstoffbahn PB mit mindestens vier separaten Strängen I bis IV ausgestattet. Die Aufnahmedorne 5 der Gruppen 4 bzw. 4' sind jeweils auf den zugehörigen Strangverbindungselementen 7 einerseits des Strangpaares SP und andererseits des anderen Strangpaares SP' angeordnet. Jeder Reihe der Aufnahmedorne 5 (siehe Fig.2) ist ein Gerät 1 (in Fig.1 und 2 nur gestrichelt angedeutet) für die Erzeugung der durch Wärme aufschrumpfbaren Etikettenhülsen S zugeordnet, die beim darunter Durchlaufen der Aufnahmedorne 5 mit den Hülsen 5 bestückt werden. In Fig.2 ist dies die Gruppe von Aufnahmedornen 5, die zum Strangpaar SP' bzw. zu den Strängen II, IV gehören. Die anderen beiden Reihen R der mit Etikettenhülsen bestückten Aufnahmedorne 5 gehören zum Strangpaar SP bzw. zu den Strängen I, III und befinden sich in kurzer Ruhestellung unter den beiden Querreihen R' der Becher B in der Packstoffbahn PB. Möglich ist aber auch, die Finger 9 mit ihren Betätigungselementen 10 zur Seite ausreichend weit aus den sich vertikal erstreckenden Nuten 8 auszurücken. Ferner ist es möglich, die Finger 9 mit ihren Betätigungselementen 10 im Bereich des in Fig.8 mit angedeuteten Spaltes 40 anzuordnen, wobei dann die Nuten 8 der Aufnahmedorne 5 fluchtende zum Spalt 40 an den Aufnahmedornen 5 angeordnet sein müssen. Die Ausführungsformen nach Fig. 9A und 9D entsprechen dabei den ausführlich erläuterten Ausführungsbeispielen nach Fig.2 und Fig.7.
Mit den Ausführungsformen nach den Fig. 9A-9C wird immer nur eine Becherquerreihe R' an der Packstoffbahn PB mit Etikettenhülsen S bedient. Die Ausführungsform gemäß Fig.9B stellt nur eine Weiterbildung der nach Fig.9A dar, wobei die eine Gruppe von Aufnahmedornen 5 auf Tragstücken 7 befestigt ist und die untere Gruppe unter Verwendung von beispielsweise Höhenausgleichsscheiben direkt auf dem mittleren Strang II. Eine Weiterbildung in Bezug auf die Ausführungsform nach Fig.9A liegt insofern vor, als deren Strang I in zwei Teilstränge I',I" geteilt ist, diese miteinander durch die Tragstücke 7 verbunden sind und zwischen diesen der Strang II erstreckt ist.

    that two separate endless strands are guided free from slippage on deflecting pulleys (2) which can be driven with separate control in such a manner that the groups (4, 4') can be moved beneath the production unit (1) for the label sleeves (S) on the one hand at a speed adapted to the dispensing speed of the production unit (1) and on the other hand, the respectively other group can be brought to a standstill in alignment with the cups (B) at the location (US) for transferring the label sleeves (S) to the cups (B) and that the lifting elements (6) disposed in the area of the transfer location (US) are configured and arranged to be movable from the movement section (BS) of the strands (I, II) equipped with the groups (4, 4').
  2. The apparatus according to claim 1,
    characterised in
    that the drives (103) of the transverse conveyor (3) and of the production unit (1) assigned thereto are connected to an overall controller (104) of the deep-drawing machine (100) which conveys the packaging-material web (PB) in time steps.
  3. The apparatus according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in
    that the receiving spikes (5) are arranged on supporting pieces (7) fastened to the endless strands (I, II).
  4. The apparatus according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in
    that when viewed in the conveying direction (P) of the packaging-material web (PB), a suitably configured transverse conveyor (3) is arranged behind the transverse conveyor (3) in a manner adapted to the timing-step conveyance.
  5. The apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised in
    that the endless strands (I, II) are configured to be movable from the location (US) for transferring the label sleeves (S) to the cups (B) as far the equipping location (BS) of the at least one production unit (1) for the label sleeves (S) at a higher speed than the dispensing speed of the production unit (1).
  6. The apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 5,
    characterised in
    that one of the two endless strands is configured to be divided into a double strand and the other strand (I) is arranged between the strand parts (I', I"), wherein the strand parts (I', I") are connected to one another by supporting pieces (7).
  7. The apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 5,
    characterised in
    that each of the two endless strands (I, II) is configured as a double strand and thus the transverse conveyor (3) has four separate endless strands (I-IV), wherein respectively non-adjacent endless strands (I, III and II, IV) are connected to one another by supporting pieces (7) as separately controlled drivable strand pairs (SP, SP') and in each case, at least one receiving spike (5) is arranged on the supporting pieces (7).
  8. The apparatus according to claim 7,
    characterised in
    that the lifting elements (6) are configured in the form of fingers (9) which grip beneath the lower edges of the label sleeves (S) placed on the receiving spikes (5) and engage in grooves (8) of the receiving spikes (5), wherein the fingers (9') positioned opposite the grooves (8) of the receiving spikes (5) are arranged in a lowered position between the supporting pieces (7) and the strands (II, III) and are arranged and configured so that during a lifting movement, they can be guided through between the supporting pieces (7) when the strands (II, III) are stationary.
  9. The apparatus according to claim 2,
    characterised in
    that the controller of the drives (103) of the transverse conveyor (3) together with that of the production unit (1) is connected to the overall controller (104) of the packaging machine (100).
