Definitions

  • the invention relates to a conveyor unit with a swirl pot, arranged in the swirl pot fuel pump and a pump holder, wherein the fuel pump is arranged in the pump holder and the pump holder is mounted in the swirl pot.
  • delivery units are used for conveying fuel from the fuel tank of a motor vehicle to an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle.
  • Conveyor units of the type mentioned are known for a long time prior art.
  • the pump holder of a conveyor unit serves on the one hand the stationary arrangement of the fuel pump in the swirl pot, on the other hand he has the task of the fuel pump to dampen vibrations, and to prevent their transfer to the swirl pot. In this way unwanted noise can be reduced.
  • the fuel pump numerous pump holders are known which have a first receptacle for mounting the fuel pump and a second receptacle for mounting the pump holder on the swirl pot.
  • the two recordings are connected to an intermediate damping element, which has the task of preventing the transmission of the vibrations from the first receptacle to the second receptacle.
  • the damping element is usually an elastic member, which receives its elasticity by the choice of material, preferably rubber, or by its design, preferably helical or meandering.
  • a disadvantage of these pump holders is the relatively complex shape design, so that their production is associated with considerable costs.
  • Such a device for receiving a fuel pump is known.
  • the device consists of a holding part, which has a number of one-piece molded components such as a flange, first and second coupling elements, a ring portion and a receptacle with a projection.
  • the present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a conveyor unit, which is simple and therefore it is inexpensive.
  • the delivery unit should also be suitable for different pump types.
  • the object is achieved in that the pump holder has at least two rods which are fixed in the swirl pot, and that the rods are connected to a receptacle for the fuel pump.
  • the delivery unit is characterized by the use of the rods in the pump holder by a very simple structure.
  • the pump holder is easy to produce, whereby the conveyor unit is cheaper.
  • elements have been found which, on the one hand, due to their structure, on the one hand have sufficient strength to act as fastening means and, on the other hand, have sufficient elasticity to dampen vibrations.
  • the vibrations generated by the fuel pump are effectively decoupled from the swirl pot.
  • a particularly good decoupling of the baffle from the vibrations of the fuel pump is achieved with rods which are arranged axially parallel to the axial extent of the fuel pump and wherein the length of the rods between the receptacle and the bottom of the baffle corresponds approximately to the length of the fuel pump.
  • the rods extend from the bottom of the swirl pot into the area of the connection piece of the fuel pump.
  • the length of the rods between the receptacle and the bottom of the surge pot can be reduced, so that the fuel pump is not centered in the region of the connector, but based on their axial extent ,
  • a particularly simple attachment of the rods in the bottom of the swirl pot is achieved by means of a plug connection, in particular via a press fit.
  • a particularly strong connection between the rods and the swirl pot is achieved with a material connection, preferably by welding.
  • connection of the rods with the recording takes place in a further embodiment in a particularly simple manner by means of a plug connection.
  • the pump holder is adaptable with little effort to different fuel pumps, in particular pump lengths, when the diameter of the rods, starting at the end facing away from the bottom of the swirl pot, gradually or continuously increases.
  • appropriately shaped diameter of the recording can thus arrange the recording at desired heights to the bars.
  • the advantage here is that the rods do not have to be adapted separately to the different fuel pumps. Rather, a bar size can be used for all variants.
  • An assembly of the rods with the recording can also be avoided by the one-piece design of the rods with the inclusion of another embodiment.
  • the recording has a very simple structure, if it has a small extent in the axial extent. If the rods are formed into the region of the connection piece of the fuel pump, the fuel pump is mounted with such a receptacle in the region of the connecting piece. Due to the design of the fuel pump, it may be necessary to store the fuel pump in the middle or at the opposite end in the pumping stage. In order nevertheless to achieve a sufficient decoupling of the surge pot from the vibrations of the fuel pump, it has been found to be advantageous to use a cup-shaped receptacle and rods of sufficient length. With this configuration, the length of the bars can be kept unchanged. The adaptation of the pump holder to the storage point of the fuel pump in the receptacle is now achieved over the length of the pot-shaped configuration of the recording.
  • conveyor unit consists of a swirl pot 1 in which a fuel pump 2 is arranged.
  • the fuel pump 2 is mounted in a pump holder 3 and connected via this with the bottom 4 of the swirl pot 1.
  • the pump holder 3 consists of a receptacle 5 and three rods 6.
  • the rods 6 are pressed into recesses of the bottom 4, wherein they penetrate a pump pre-filter 8.
  • the rods 6 extend axially parallel to the fuel pump 2 up to the height of the connecting piece 7, where they are pressed with their ends facing away from the bottom 4 in recesses of the receptacle 5.
  • the receptacle 5 of the pump holder 3 is limited with respect to its axial extent to the connecting piece 7 of the fuel pump 2.
  • a fuel pump 2 is arranged.
  • the fuel pump 2 is mounted in the receptacle 5 of a pump holder 3, wherein the receptacle 5 is cup-shaped, so that it receives almost the entire fuel pump 2.
  • the upper end 9 of the receptacle 5 extends into the region of the connecting piece 7 of the fuel pump 2.
  • connecting points 10 are formed, in which the three rods 6 are pressed. With their other end, the rods 6 are connected to the bottom 4 of the swirl pot 1.
  • a pump pre-filter 8 is arranged, penetrate the rods 6. Due to the fact that the rods 6 are guided into the region of the connecting piece 7 of the fuel pump 2, they have with their length sufficient elasticity to effectively decouple vibrations of the fuel pump 2 with respect to the swirl pot 1 ,
  • the in FIG. 3 shown rod 6 of a pump holder 3 has a plurality of regions 11 of different diameters, wherein the diameter of the regions 11 increase from top to bottom stepwise.
  • the transitions between two areas 11 form rest stops 12, in which the connection points 10 can be stored.
  • the receptacle 5 can be arranged at different heights to the bottom 4 of the swirl pot 1.
  • Such a trained rod 6 of a pump holder 3 can thus be used for various applications.
