Besonders vorteilhaft ist die Verbindung von Fliehkraftabscheider und Staubsaugerdeckel, wenn der Fliehkraftabscheider oberhalb des Staubsammelbehälters angeordnet ist. The dust-laden air, which is sucked in via a suction pipe, not shown, enters the centrifugal separator 5 via the inlet region 7 and a second mirror-image centrifugal separator 5, which is not shown in the illustration. In the centrifugal separator 5 and correspondingly in the second separator, not shown, the incoming air is set in a rotational movement, whereby the dust is forced by centrifugal forces to the wall of the centrifugal separator 5. At the inlet side 7 opposite side of the centrifugal separator 5 is an outlet 8 for the separated dust.
Der Auslass 8 ist in dem in Figur 2 gezeigten Detailausschnitt zu sehen, bei dem die Staubbox 6 weggelassen wurde und deshalb der gesamte Fliehkraftabscheider 5 sichtbar wird. Die vom Staub gereinigte Luft verlässt über einen nicht dargestellten lufteintrittseitig im Zentrum des Fliehkraftabscheiders 5 angeordneten Luftaustritt den Fliehkraftabscheider 5 und gelangt über einen in der Figur nicht sichtbaren Feinstaubfilter in den Unterdruckraum 9, von dem aus die gereinigte Luft über das Gebläse 4 an die Umgebung abgegeben wird. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Fliehkraftabscheider 5 über eine Rastverbindung 10 an dem Staubsaugerdeckel befestigt. Die Rastverbindung 10 weist einen Rasthaken 11 auf, der am Fliehkraftabscheider 5 angebracht ist und der in eine am Staubsaugerdeckel 2 vorgesehene Rastlasche 12 eingreift. Über die Rastverbindung 10 ist der Fliehkraftabscheider 5 also lösbar am Staubsaugerdeckel 2 befestigt und kann zum Öffnen des Staubsaugers zusammen mit dem Staubsaugerdeckel 2 weggeschwenkt werden. Zum Reinigen des Fliehkraftabscheiders 5 lässt sich die Rastverbindung 10 öffnen, so dass der Fliehkraftabscheider 5 entnommen werden kann. Figur 3 zeigt ebenso wie Figur 2 einen Detailausschnitt aus einem erfindungsgemäßen Staubsauger, bei dem insbesondere die Verbindung von Fliehkraftabscheider 5 und Staubsaugerdeckel 2 zu sehen ist. Allerdings handelt es sich hier um ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel, bei dem die Verbindung über eine Schraubverbindung 13 realisiert ist. Hierfür weisen Staubsaugerdeckel 2 und Fliehkraftabscheider 5 Befestigungselemente auf, die über eine Schraube verbunden werden. Da eine Entnahme des Fliehkraftabscheiders 5 nur im Ausnahmefall notwendig ist, wenn der Fliehkraftabscheider 5 verstopft ist, kann auch eine derartige, etwas stabilere Befestigung sinnvoll sein.
