  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, wherein the lower roller (2) is arranged adjacent to the rest (1) such that the stack (8) is guided directly from the rest (1) to the lower roller (2).
  4. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 3, wherein the lower roller (2) is arranged such that its top is at least level with the bearing surface (14) for the stack (8), or is arranged such that its top is at least at a level which is located beneath the bearing surface (14) for the stack (8) by an amount which corresponds, at most, to the extent of the radius of the lower roller (2).
  5. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 3, wherein the bearing surface (14) of the stack (8) on the rest (1) and the connecting plane (18) which connects the two rollers (2, 3), with the stack (8) clamped between the rollers (2, 3), intersect between the rollers (2, 3).
  6. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 5, wherein the lower roller (2) and the rest (1) can be displaced horizontally and/or vertically relative to one another.
  7. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 6, wherein the diameter of the lower roller (2) is greater than the diameter of the upper roller (3).
  8. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 7, wherein the upper and/or the lower roller (3, 2) are/is mounted in adjusting means (4), in particular pneumatic or electric adjusting means.
  9. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 8, wherein the upper roller (3) and/or the lower roller (2) can be driven or rotated freely.
  10. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 8, wherein one roller can be driven and the other roller can be braked.
  11. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 10, wherein the connecting plane (18) which connects the two bearing axes (10, 16) of the rollers (2, 3) is arranged at an angle of 30 to 60°, preferably 40 to 50°, in particular 45°, to the horizontal.
  12. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 11, wherein it is possible to adjust the angle of inclination of the connecting plane (18).
  13. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 12, wherein the connecting plane (18) which connects the two bearing axes (10, 16) of the two rollers (2, 3) is directed from the bottom at the front to the top at the rear, as seen counter to the conveying direction of the stack (8) which is to be conveyed.
  14. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 13, wherein the means for conveying the stack (8) into the region between the open rollers (2, 3) comes into contact with, and pushes, the stack (8) at the rear, as seen counter to the conveying direction of the stack (8) which is to be conveyed, the means being designed in particular as a displaceable gripper.
  15. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 13, wherein the means for conveying the stack (8) into the region between the open rollers (2, 3) and/or the means (5) for conveying the stack (8) clamped between the rollers (2, 3), and for breaking up, and admitting air to, the stack in the process, are/is designed as a horizontally displaceable gripper (5) which grips the stack (8) at the front.
  16. Apparatus according to Claim 15, wherein the gripper (5) has a lower gripper holder (9), which is stationary in relation to the gripper (5), and an upper gripper holder (7), which is displaceable relative to the lower gripper holder (9).
