Abstract

Ein Wäschetrockner (11) kann in einem Luftauslass (20) einen Feuchtesensor (22) aufweisen, der mit einer Steuerung (24) verbunden ist. Der Feuchtesensor (22) erfasst den zeitlichen Verlauf der absoluten Luftfeuchtigkeit im Luftauslass (20). Bestimmte charakteristische Werte, wie ein Zeitpunkt bis zum Erreichen eines Maximalwertes oder eine absolute Luftfeuchtigkeit zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt, können erfasst und mit in der Steuerung (24) abgespeicherten Werten verglichen werden. Daraus kann bestimmt werden, welche Menge an Wäsche (14) sich in dem Wäschetrockner (11) befindet. So kann ein Programmablauf optimiert werden.
