Abstract
Ein Wäschetrockner (11) kann in einem Luftauslass (20) einen Feuchtesensor (22) aufweisen, der mit einer Steuerung (24) verbunden ist. Der Feuchtesensor (22) erfasst den zeitlichen Verlauf der absoluten Luftfeuchtigkeit im Luftauslass (20). Bestimmte charakteristische Werte, wie ein Zeitpunkt bis zum Erreichen eines Maximalwertes oder eine absolute Luftfeuchtigkeit zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt, können erfasst und mit in der Steuerung (24) abgespeicherten Werten verglichen werden. Daraus kann bestimmt werden, welche Menge an Wäsche (14) sich in dem Wäschetrockner (11) befindet. So kann ein Programmablauf optimiert werden. A tumble dryer (11) may have in an air outlet (20) a humidity sensor (22) connected to a controller (24). The humidity sensor (22) detects the time course of the absolute humidity in the air outlet (20). Certain characteristic values, such as a time to reach a maximum value or an absolute humidity at a certain time, can be detected and compared with values stored in the controller (24). From this it can be determined what amount of laundry (14) is in the tumble dryer (11). This way a program flow can be optimized.
