Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the erroneous action of a constant temperature and constant humidity tank, etc., by judging the degree of wetness of a fiburous material which gives moisture to the heat sensitive part of a wet bulb thermometer by detecting the change of resistance when flowed a current through the fiburous material and displaying the change, and alarmimg an abnormal state by the display.
CONSTITUTION: A wet bulb thermometer 13 in a constant temperature and constant humidity tank 1 is so constructed that its surface is wetted by water drawn up by the capillarity of a fiburous material 15 from a wet bulb dish 3. When this wetness degree changes, the electric resistance R of the fiburous material 15 changes, and by this change, a voltage generated at two ends of a load resistance 18 is also changed, therefore, by setting this voltage appropriately to operate an indicator driving circuit 19 when the fibuours material 15 dries, an alarm instrument 20 such as speaker, buzzer, etc., is driven alarming that the wet bulb thermometer 13 is in an abnormal state.
