Abstract

PURPOSE: To make usable under any environment, such that the power is supplied to the heater wire by the detection of water drop under out air temperature higher than freezing temperature while maintaining the power supply irrespective of the existence of water drop after reaching to the freezing temperature.
CONSTITUTION: When required a control circuit is connected to the output terminal 1a of voltage comparator 1 while a circuit conducting with the heater wire provided on rear window glass of vehicle is connected. Resistor 2 and thermistor 3 are the circuit for determining the negative side input and comprising thermister 4 and moisture-sensitive sensor 5, where under normal temperature the sensor 5 detects the water drop to reduce the resistance to make the potentials at points A, B to be A>B thus to supply power, while when there is no water is brings A<B thus to stop the power supply. When the out air temperature drops to freeze the water drop adhered on the glass face, the sensor is disabled to maintain high resistance to bring A>B thus to supply power to the heater wire.
