Abstract

PURPOSE: To rapidly detect the disconnection of a thermistor, if it occurs, and prevent the excessive rise of temperature by changing the fixed time for the purpose of delaying the disconnection detection of the temperature detecting element according to the standing time from the time when the heating of the member to be heated is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: When an electric power source switch is turned on again after it has been turned off to stop current supply to a heater H21 during temperature controlling, the roller has not yet lowered from the specified temperature and therefore it is sometimes heated further and raise its temperature irrespective of disconnection during the disconnection detection inhibit time by a timer.
