Definitions
- the invention relates to a tub for a drum washing machine with at least one fastened by means of screw ballast weight, which is pressed onto bearing areas on the container wall, wherein for the screw on the container wall in each case a pin is formed, which projects into a corresponding opening in the ballast weight, wherein between the Spigot and the opening a circumferential cavity remains.
- ballast weights are screwed to the end walls, wherein on the end walls dome are formed, which protrude into openings in the ballast weight.
- the domes are each provided with an axial bore into which a screw is screwed, which presses with its screw head the ballast weight against the support area.
- the opening in the ballast weight is covered with a spring plate, which provides a biasing force on the ballast weight after screwing the screw.
- a relaxation can not be avoided in the contact area, whereby the preload force gradually decreases. At higher weights or larger imbalances, the ballast weight can loosen and in the worst case solve.
- WO 03/085187 A1 and DE 11 86 413 B each reveal a tub with ballast weight for a washing machine.
- ballast weight has a conical passage opening, which is slipped over a pin on the tub wall.
- a conical or wedge-shaped part is inserted in the hollow pin, which presses the walls of the pin outwardly against the inner circumference of the passage opening of the ballast weight. Due to the spreading apart of the walls, which then nestle against the conical passage opening, the ballast weight is fixed to the container wall.
- a similar attachment of a ballast weight to a suds tank wall is from the EP 0 799 926 A2 known.
- a cylindrical blind hole is used with a longitudinal opening in the ballast weight instead of a conical passage opening.
- the associated, cylindrical holding part is dimensioned to fit this opening, wherein the holding part is spread with an insert and thus pressed against the walls of the opening.
- the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a plastic tub with an improved attachment of at least one ballast weight.
- the opening is executed in the ballast weight ending as indentation.
- the bore for receiving the screw is arranged in the remaining material of the ballast weight.
- the pin provides with its front end the support for the ballast weight in the indentation, wherein the cavity between the pin and the ballast weight is at least partially filled with a deformable mass.
- the pin is approximately star-shaped.
- the pin comprises radially inwardly directed recesses into which the elastic mass can spread, whereby a toothing between the mass and the pin is provided.
- At least one fastening tab is integrally formed on an end wall of the tub, on which the fastening pin extends from the plane of the end wall pioneering.
- the attachment can be performed regardless of the circumstances of the container wall.
- the fastening tab can be made with a higher material thickness to withstand the stresses.
- a nut is arranged on the fastening tab, in which the screw is screwed.
- a fixed screwing is achieved, wherein in Plastic material Avoid threading or tension caused by self-tapping screws.
- the deformable mass consists of a viscous to soft material, which is curable and has a hardness of 30 to 80 ShoreA after curing.
- the mass is applied before attaching the ballast weight at the free end of the pin and squeezed by attaching the ballast weight in the cavities. After curing, a positive connection between the pin and the ballast weight in the region of the recess is produced, wherein the elastic mass after curing has a residual hardness of 30 to 80 ShoreA and provides a limited elasticity.
- an adhesive is used as a deformable mass, whereby the strength of the connection between the pin and ballast weight is further improved.
- Fig. 1 is a washing machine 8 with a tub 1 outlined in a side view as a section.
- the tub 1 consists at least of a cylindrical shell 2, which surrounds a drum 3.
- the cylindrical shell 2 is closed by at least one bottom wall 6a.
- a hub 4 is integrated, which receives the drive shaft 5 for driven by a motor 12 drum 3.
- the front end wall 6 is provided with a loading opening 7 which can be closed by a door 9.
- Ballastpetite 10, 11 are attached.
- Fig. 2 the tub 1 is shown in a perspective view from the front.
- the ballast weights 11 are arranged on the outside of the front end wall 6, wherein they are designed as a part circle and the outside approximately follow the course of the shell 2 and the inside keep the loading opening 7.
- the weights 11 are provided with screws 13 on the Attached end wall 6, in which case the attachment to fastening tabs 14 takes place, which are integrally formed on the end wall 6 and / or on the jacket 2.
- Fig. 3 the attachment of the ballast weight 11 is sketched in detail.
- a pin 15 is formed, which rises from the plane of the tab 14.
- the ballast weight 11 has on the side facing the end wall, an opening 16 which is formed in the material of the ballast weight 11 ending.
- the ballast weight 11 has in the region of this opening 16 a bore 23 which serves to pass the screw 13.
- the pin 15 has a significantly smaller cross-section than the opening 16, whereby after placing the ballast weight 11 on the end face 17 of the pin 15, a circumferential cavity 18 remains ( Fig. 4 ).
- This cavity 18 is at least partially filled with an elastic or deformable mass 19.
- the mass 19 has been applied before attaching the ballast weight 11 in the region of the pin 15.
- Fig. 4 the attached ballast weight is sketched in detail.
- the screw 13 By tightening the screw 13, which is screwed into a nut 20 on the opposite side of the tab 14, the ballast weight 11 is pressed against the end face 17 of the pin 15.
- the mass 19 is deformed so that it fills largely the circumferential cavity 18 in the region of the opening 16. Excess mass 19 may spread into the gap between tab 14 and ballast weight 11.
- the mass has a hardness of 30 to 80 ShoreA, so that a lateral movement of the ballast weight 11 relative to the end wall 6 is at least almost completely avoided.
- the screw 13 does not need to press the ballast weight 11 so firmly against the end face 17 of the pin 15, so that the relaxation behavior in the plastic in the region of the attachment or the support of the ballast weight 11 on the pin 15 is largely avoided.
- ballast weight 11 is sketched in another detailed, partially sectioned view.
- the underside of the ballast weight 11 is located on the end face 17 of the pin 15, wherein in an advantageous embodiment of the pin 15 is formed in cross-section star-shaped.
- the mass 19 was squeezed when attaching the ballast weight 11 to the tab 14 in the circumferential cavity 18 and in the recesses 22.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tub for a drum washing machine with at least one fastened by means of screw ballast weight, which is pressed onto bearing areas on the container wall, wherein for the screw on the container wall in each case a pin is formed, which projects into a corresponding opening in the ballast weight, wherein between the Spigot and the opening a circumferential cavity remains.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a plastic tub with an improved attachment of at least one ballast weight.
According to the invention the object is achieved with the features of
For this purpose, it is proposed according to the invention that the opening is executed in the ballast weight ending as indentation. At this point, the bore for receiving the screw is arranged in the remaining material of the ballast weight. The pin provides with its front end the support for the ballast weight in the indentation, wherein the cavity between the pin and the ballast weight is at least partially filled with a deformable mass. The particular advantage is that a positive connection is generated by the elastic mass between the pin and the inner edge of the indentation, whereby possible relative movements between the ballast weight and the tub are avoided. For the attachment of a large biasing force is no longer necessary, whereby the container wall is not heavily loaded in the support area. As a result, the service life is increased and possible cracks due to excessive stresses or strains are avoided.
In an advantageous embodiment, the pin is approximately star-shaped. For this purpose, the pin comprises radially inwardly directed recesses into which the elastic mass can spread, whereby a toothing between the mass and the pin is provided.
In a further advantageous embodiment, at least one fastening tab is integrally formed on an end wall of the tub, on which the fastening pin extends from the plane of the end wall pioneering. Here, the attachment can be performed regardless of the circumstances of the container wall. In particular, the fastening tab can be made with a higher material thickness to withstand the stresses.
In an expedient development, a nut is arranged on the fastening tab, in which the screw is screwed. Thus, a fixed screwing is achieved, wherein in Plastic material Avoid threading or tension caused by self-tapping screws.
In an expedient embodiment, the deformable mass consists of a viscous to soft material, which is curable and has a hardness of 30 to 80 ShoreA after curing. The mass is applied before attaching the ballast weight at the free end of the pin and squeezed by attaching the ballast weight in the cavities. After curing, a positive connection between the pin and the ballast weight in the region of the recess is produced, wherein the elastic mass after curing has a residual hardness of 30 to 80 ShoreA and provides a limited elasticity.
In another embodiment, an adhesive is used as a deformable mass, whereby the strength of the connection between the pin and ballast weight is further improved.
