- the present invention relates to a noise-reducing device of a rail for railway vehicles comprising a jacket of elastic material, said jacket comprising two parts intended to extend on either side of the rail, in particular a trolley rail, on the one hand, for wrapping the two lateral flanks of this rail, and, on the other hand, for positioning said rail in a channel formed in a solid material, in particular prefabricated or cast concrete, the elastic material being sufficiently rigid for that the two aforesaid parts can maintain the rail in position during the passage of a vehicle on the rail.
