Description
Beschreibung:Description:
Applikator für zwei oder mehr KomponentenApplicator for two or more components
The invention relates to an applicator for two or more components, in particular for an adjustable metering dispenser, according to the preamble features of claim 1.
Such applicators are used for adhesives or cosmetics, e.g. Lipsticks, in which a care component is mixed, used. For this purpose, usually static mixers are used in which the components are introduced into a helical tube and thereby mixed. The disadvantage here, however, that a considerable residual volume remains in the mixer, so that, for example, when changing the metering several strokes are required at the dispenser to then finally reach the desired mixing ratio. Since such components can be very expensive, it is desirable that this disadvantage be largely avoided. In addition, the mixture in the static mixer can harden or become inactive, so that it must be replaced or the mixture of components is no longer useful.
Accordingly, the invention has the object to provide an applicator for two or more components, wherein the above-mentioned disadvantages are avoided, in particular a mixture of components takes place only at the application site.
This object is achieved by an applicator with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
Due to the multiplicity of outlet openings, which are separated from one another for the two (or more) components up to the applicator area and only selectively brought together there, in particular in the form of a respectively central nozzle with surrounding annular gap, a mixture is only achieved at the surface. This complete separation of the components up to the exit point leaves no or only an extremely small residual volume of mixed components. In addition, by the annular sheath of the one component through the other Component achieved an intimate mixture, since when applying an adhesive or a lipstick by sweeping the surface of the mixing effect is further improved, unless already done by exiting the ring nozzles a sufficient mixture.
The construction of the applicator achieves an exact separation between the two components, namely practically in two or more planes, so that the desired mixture emerges only at the exit point. This is required for some components, such as adhesives, to avoid premature curing. The assignment of the exiting component flows is thereby improved if the one nozzle is fixed with centering webs in the other outlet opening, so that the desired annular sheath of the one components is ensured by the other component. Preferably, in this case, the outlet nozzles are conical, whereby the Hersteilungsaufwaήd the plurality of nozzles can be reduced. Thus, "spiky" mandrels can be used to form the nozzles in the injection molding tool. However, a largely cylindrical design of the nozzles is possible. By dividing into two levels or floors, which is penetrated only by a feed channel for the one component in the "upper" floor, the applicator, which is preferably placed on an adjustable dispenser, also inexpensive to produce.
Hierbei zeigen:An exemplary embodiment of the applicator will be described below with reference to the drawing. Hereby show:
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung des Applikators;Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the applicator;
Fig.2 eine Querschnittsdarstellung des Applikators; undFig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the applicator; and
Fig.3 eine Teilansicht mit teilweiser Darstellung der Applikatorfläche.3 shows a partial view with partial representation of the applicator surface.
Fig. 2 und 3). In Fig. 1, an applicator 1 is shown in perspective. This has an applicator surface 2 which is shown here inclined to facilitate the application of the mixed adhesive when used for a two-component adhesive or the like. The same applies, for example, for lipsticks or similar cosmetics, which consist of two or more components. These components are conveyed or pumped by a dosing dispenser with cartridges 8 not shown to the applicator 2 and the two Components (A and B) are fed separately in layers (see Fig. 2 and 3). For this purpose, a multiplicity of outlet openings 3 are provided on the applicator surface 2, the one component A exiting here, for example, in the center (nozzle 3a), while the component B in the upper floor 5 exiting the annular gap 3b around the central nozzle 3a. The exact fixation to each other is achieved by centering webs 3c.
As a result, the component A emerges in the center, while the component B is conveyed as a ring to the Applikatorfiäche 2, in particular by a metering dispenser with pump valves and cartridges 8, of which in Fig. 3, right below one is indicated. As a result, an initial mixture of the components is achieved only at the applicator surface 2. From the right here below indicated cartridge 8 for the component B, this is a feed channel 4 in the; here upper floor 5 passed (that is, through the lower floor 6 for the component A through), and then at the respective annular gap 3b exit (see dash-dotted line). The component A, however, as indicated by dashed lines, promoted from here left spigot 7 in the floor 6, each to emerge from the central nozzle 3a.
The cross-sectional area of the nozzle 3a is preferably circular, but may also be oval or rectangular. Accordingly, the annular gap 3b, e.g. oval shaped. The nozzles 3a are preferably conical in order to increase the mutual alignment with the centering webs 3c and also to be formed better during injection molding. However, it is also a cylindrical design of the nozzle: en 3a possible, all of which are here with the level or floor 6 for the component A in connection. In this case, the floor 6 and the component A leading components (in particular the nozzle 3a) is separated from the components that carry the component B. Only at the exit from the annular gap 3b, as indicated in FIG. 3 with three small arrows, do the components A and B come together and produce the desired mixture A + B only at the applicator surface 2.
