Description

Schiffchenstickmaschinen arbeiten nach dem Zweifadensystem, d.h. mit einem Nadelfaden und einem Schiffchenfaden, wobei der Nadelfaden bei jedem Stich mit dem Schiffchenfaden verschlungen wird. Eine mit einem Ör versehene Nadel transportiert den Nadelfaden durch den Stoff hindurch, wobei der Faden beim Zurückgehen der Nadel eine Schlaufe bildet. Durch diese Schlaufe wird dann das Schiffchen, in welchem der Schiffchenfaden enthalten ist, hindurchgeführt. In der Regel besitzt eine Stickmaschine oder eine Steppmaschine eine grosse Anzahl von Stickstellen und entsprechend viele Nadeln und Schiffchen. Zur Hin- und Herbewegung des Schiffchens dient ein sogenanntes Treiberlineal oder dergleichen. Bei modernen Stickmaschinen wird das Treiberlineal durch ein Profil gebildet. Dieses weist Bohrungen auf, in welche für jede Stickstelle ein unterer Treibernagel und ein oberer Treibernagel eingesetzt ist. Mit diesen Treibernägeln wird das Schiffchen auf der geneigten Lauffläche der Schiffchenbahn auf und ab bewegt. Es ist bekannt, bei Stickmaschinen die auf das Schiffchen wirkende Schwerkraft auszunutzen, um bei Bedarf das Schiffchen still zu legen. Zu diesem Zweck braucht lediglich der untere Treibernagel gezogen werden, so dass er das Schiffchen nicht mehr mitnimmt (

In den letzten Jahren ist die Geschwindigkeit, mit denen eine Schiffchenstickmaschine arbeitet, stark erhöht worden. Es gibt bereits Maschinen, die mit 600 und mehr Stichen pro Minute arbeiten. Zweckmässigerweise besitzt das Führungselement zu seitlichen Führung des Schiffchens bombierte Berührungsflächen. Zu seiner Befestigung kann das Führungselement ein Durchgangsloch für eine Schraube zur Befestigung am Treiberlineal aufweisen. Zweckmässigerweise besitzt das Führungselemt auch mindestens einen Zapfen, der in eine Bohrung am Treiberlineal eingreifen kann.
