Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a motor vehicle headlamp device, using an inverted cut-off support adapted to hold a socket - or base - of a light source of a headlamp device, as described in FIG. DE 73 21 153 U .
  • the main purpose of the invention is to propose a solution to cancel the problem that a lamp within a motor vehicle headlamp device may become detached from its support, in particular because of the vibrations of the vehicle in motion, if the lamp was initially placed in a position of unstable equilibrium.
  • socket-or-socket-head lamps with two lugs are traditionally used. shape of a thread.
  • the object of the invention relates more particularly to lighting and signaling devices involving light sources with lug socket; in particular, the invention finds a direct application for the lighting and signaling devices located at the rear of the vehicle which involve, within a vessel, a cut support, traditionally conductive, the light source considered.
  • the invention may however be implemented for any other projector device.
  • the headlamp devices receiving lightened light sources comprise a generally planar cut-out circuit located inside and at a first end of a polypropylene tank, as well as a light diffusion screen placed at the opposite end of the tank. Said circuit is able to serve as a support for the smooth and cylindrical socket lamp and to conduct the electric current to said lamp.
  • said support has in particular at least two holding zones of the light source, said zones being obtained by folding at right angles to the support in a direction parallel to and in a direction identical to those of the movement of introduction of the light source into the support .
  • the electrical contact zone is located at each holding zone, where there is a small notch for locking the lugs.
  • the locking notches are two small cavities intended to receive the lugs and to ensure the contact of the mass, the positive current arriving through the base of the lamp via a blade in elastic contact with the lamp.
  • the devices concerned generally use socket lamps sometimes designated by the names: P21 W or PY21 W.
  • the P21 W lamps comprise a translucent glass and two pins symmetrical with respect to a central axis of the socket while the PY21 W lamps have a amber colored glass and two pins slightly asymmetrical with respect to the central axis of the socket.
  • Such a device includes a cut circuit, placed in the tank of the projector device considered; such a cut circuit is described by way of example with reference to FIGS. 1, 2, 3A, 3B and 3C .
  • FIG. 1 represents a top view of the cut support 100 intended to receive a sleeve 201, corresponding to the base of a lamp 200, for example of the type PY21 W visible from the figure 2 .
  • the lamp 200 is intended to be positioned in contact with the support by a movement formed in a first step of a translation in an insertion direction 107, then in a second step of a rotational movement in a locking direction 300 , represented by an arrow at the figure 3-A .
  • the lamp 200 is composed of a glass part 202 and a cylindrical sleeve 201.
  • the support 100 is essentially in the form of a substantially flat monoblock component, comprised in a plane considered as horizontal, of constant thickness. 1 to 2 millimeters, consisting of an upper face 100A and a lower face 100B, and characterized by a periphery 105 surrounding a main cavity 101 generally circular for passing the sleeve 201 of the lamp 200.
  • the cavity 101 has, at its periphery, two vertical holding zones 102A and 102B of the lamp 200.
  • Each of the holding zones 102A and 102B notably comprises an arcuate portion, constituting a holding strip respectively referenced 103A and 103B, obtained by a fold 106 a portion of the support 100, part advancing in the main cavity 101.
  • Each holding blade extends perpendicularly out of the plane of said support in a direction opposite to the insertion direction 107.
  • Each holding zone 102A and 102B also comprises a flat portion connecting the periphery 105 of the support 100 to the holding blade 103A or 103B of the holding zone 102A or 102B considered.
  • each holding zone 102A and 102B is composed of two holding tabs respectively referenced 104A, 104A 'and 104B, 104B'; the holding tabs are contained in the plane of the support 100.
  • the arched holding blades 103A and 103B follow, once the sleeve 201 is inserted, the cylindrical surface of said sleeve.
  • the support is used at least partially as an electrical circuit. The conductive part of the support is brought to a reference potential corresponding to the circuit ground.
  • the figure 2 represents an oblique view from below of the lamp 200, in an operating position, locked within the holding zones 102 A and 102B located at the periphery of the cavity 101 of the cut support 100.
  • the locking is carried out more precisely at the level of the contact between lugs 203A, 203B of the sleeve 201 and locking notches 204A, 204B formed, for this purpose, in the middle of the fold 106 of the holding zones 102A, 102B.
  • the lugs 203A and 203B have, for example, a cylindrical shape with a length and a radius equal to 0.5 millimeters.
  • a contact blade not shown in the figures, exerts a force which maintains the lugs 203A and 203B within the corresponding notches 204A and 204B.
  • the figure 3A represents a bottom view, perpendicular to the plane described by the support 100, of the lamp 200, in equilibrium position unstable relative to the support 100.
  • a problem inherent in the cut circuits of the state of the art appears here. Indeed, the pins 203A, 203B are supported under the retaining tabs 300A and 300B; the latter are not able to block laterally said pins relative to the support 100.
  • the risk is that the pins 203A, 203B, under the effect of the vibration of the vehicle running, slide laterally in a direction away from the notches 204A, 204B holding tabs 102A, 102B. Such a case is observed when the establishment of the sleeve 201 which comprises a locking operation in the locking direction 300, has not come to an end.
  • the figure 3B represents an oblique close-up view of the lug 203 A of the lamp 200, in an unstable position relative to the support 100. Due to the circular shape of the lugs 203A, 203B, the contact surface with the retaining lugs 300A and 300B is reduced to a line of about 0.5 millimeters in length, which increases the risk of lateral sliding of said lugs when vibrations occur.
  • the figure 3C represents an oblique overall view of the lamp 200, in an unstable position with respect to the cut-off circuit 100.
  • the object of the invention proposes a solution to the problem just described.
  • the invention proposes a device of the type which has been detailed in the presentation of the state of the art, but which no longer has a zone of instability.
  • a device which makes it possible to cancel, during the insertion of the socket into the main cavity, the potential instability situated at the level of the holding tabs, by replacing one of the said legs by at least one oblique surface called insertion boss, which extends towards the underside of the support in the extension of the holding blades.
  • Each insertion boss has a shape, for example rounded or pointed, capable of preventing the lamp from stopping in an unstable equilibrium position.
  • the presence of at least one insertion boss changes a trajectory of the pins of the bushing relative to the trajectory observed in the state of the art, so that they can no longer be in unstable equilibrium at the level of a flat area.
  • a holding pressure exerted by the contact blade contributes, in certain exemplary embodiments, to prohibit any unstable equilibrium intermediate position during the insertion of the sleeve through the cut circuit.
  • the present invention also relates to a projector device comprising a cut support having the main characteristics, and possibly one or more additional characteristics which have just been mentioned.
  • the projector device comprises an electrical contact blade mechanically opposing the insertion movement of the light source within the main cavity of the support, exerting pressure at a lower portion of the socket.
  • the present invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising the projector device according to the invention mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
  • FIGS. 4A and 4B show an exemplary embodiment of the cut support according to the invention, differentiating in particular from the state of the art by the presence of at least one insertion boss.
  • the Figure 4A represents a top view of an exemplary embodiment of a cut-off support 400 according to the invention, intended to receive a circular bushing 201 of a lamp 200, for example of the PY21 W type, visible on the FIGS. 5A, 5B and 5C .
  • the lamp 200 is composed of a glass portion 202 and the sleeve 201.
  • the support 400 is essentially in the form of a one-piece piece generally flat, included in a plane considered horizontal, of a constant thickness of 1 at 2 millimeters, consisting of an upper face 400A and a lower face 400B, and characterized by a periphery 407 surrounding a main cavity 401 generally circular to accommodate the lamp 200.
  • the latter must undergo a translational movement in an insertion direction 107, then a rotational movement in a locking direction 300 previously shown.
  • the support is used at least partially as an electrically conductive circuit.
  • the conductive part of the support is brought to a reference potential corresponding to the circuit ground.
  • a rounded insertion boss 404 forming a lower extension of the holding blade 405 A extends over a length of about one millimeter relative to the lower face 400B of said support, out of the plane of the support 400 in one direction.
  • the cutting of the one-piece support 400 according to the invention is as simple as in the state of the art: one uses in fact one of the retaining tabs of the cut-out circuits of the state of the art to produce the insertion boss. In other embodiments, a pointed insertion boss is provided.
  • the Figure 4B represents, an oblique view from above of the same embodiment of the single cut support 400 according to the invention, for socket 201 of a lamp 200.
  • the Figure 5A represents an oblique view from below of the lamp 200 in unstable equilibrium position with respect to the support 400.
  • the locking takes place at the contact between the lugs 203A, 203B of the sleeve 201 and the locking notches 504 and 505 formed for this purpose in the middle of the fold 408 holding zones 402A, 402B.
  • the lugs 203A and 203B have, for example, a cylindrical shape with a length and a radius equal to 0.5 millimeters.
  • a contact blade exerts a holding pressure which contributes to push the pins 203A and 203B in the notches 204A and 204B, and which then ensures the maintenance of the lugs in the corresponding notches.
  • This pressure is represented at Figure 5C by a vector F parallel to a central axis of the sleeve 201, parallel to the insertion direction 107, but oriented in the opposite direction to said insertion direction 107. This pressure exerted by the contact blade helps to prohibit any intermediate position d unstable equilibrium.
  • the Figure 5B represents an oblique close-up view of the lug 203 A of the lamp 200 in an unstable position relative to the support 400.
  • the interaction of the contact blade and the insertion boss force the lug 203A to not remain in the position punctual instability shown and slide either to the operating position, within the locking notch 405, or to an input area 502.
  • the Figure 5C represents a side view of the lamp 200 of the PY21 W type, in an unstable position with respect to the cut-out circuit 400. This figure clearly shows that the pin 203A is in contact with the support 400, whereas the pin 203B does not is not. In the operating position, the pins 203A and 203B are held within the corresponding notches 505 and 504.
  • FIG. 6A a close-up side view of the same embodiment of the single cut support 400 according to the invention; the vector v being perpendicular to the insertion boss 404.
  • FIG. 6B a close lateral view, along the axis of the vector v, of the insertion boss 404 of the same embodiment example of the only cut support 400 according to the invention.
  • the exemplary embodiment described has the following advantage: due to the existence of a single boss 404, only one of the lugs is in contact with the circuit cut during the locking movement of the socket on the cut circuit 400 The risk of unstable equilibrium is thus definitely eliminated. However, in other exemplary embodiments, it has been observed that the presence of a suitably shaped insertion boss at each holding zone 402-A and 402-B can limit the risk of positioning in unstable equilibrium. the lamp on the circuit cut out.
  • the present invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments that have been given, but it is likely to receive many variants.
  • it is applicable to lampholders having lugs contained in the same plane perpendicular to the central axis of the socket, or contained in different planes and perpendicular to this central axis, such as lamps P21 / 5W and P21 / 4W.
