Abstract

 Crを5%以上含有する高合金鋼からなる被圧延材の延伸圧延後におけるマンドレルバの引き抜き不良を効果的に抑制しながら、継目無鋼管を製造する。  マンドレルバ2の軸方向への速度を一定に保つリテインドマンドレルミル1を用い、マンドレルバ2の移動速度Vbを制御することにより、マンドレルバ2の移動速度Vb、リテインドマンドレルミル1の入側における被圧延材3の速度Vi、及びリテインドマンドレルミル1の出側における被圧延材3の速度Veが、0.15≦Vb/{(Vi十Ve)/2}≦0.70の関係を満足するようにして、被圧延材3に延伸圧延を行うことによって、5%以上のCrを含有する高合金鋼からなる継目無鋼管を製造する。
