Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément constitutif en pierre ou en verre, notamment pour des meubles de cuisine et des habillages pour cuisine, qui est muni d'éléments complémentaires pour en renforcer la solidité. L'invention vise à mettre au point une possibilité de renforcement pour des éléments en pierre ou en verre, sous forme de bandes ou de plaques, qui permette de produire des éléments constitutifs de faible épaisseur, mais néanmoins très résistants à la flexion, afin de pouvoir être travaillés et transportés, dans des dimensions plus importantes et dans des modes de réalisation comportant des percées et des nervures étroites. L'invention vise également à permettre une utilisation desdits éléments constitutifs à des fins décoratives. Selon l'invention, il est prévu, à cet effet, que l'élément constitutif soit conçu sous forme de bande ou de plaque et qu'il soit lié à un corps d'armature en matériau à base de fibres de verre, sous forme de bande, au niveau d'une de ses faces longitudinales, par adhésif époxy.
