Vorzugsweise ist die Größe der Absaugöffnungen ausreichend gering, um ein unerwünschtes Durchtreten von Tabakfasern durch die Absaugöffnungen weitgehend zu verhindern. Der mittlere Durchmesser der vorzugsweise kreisrunden Absaugöffnungen ist daher vorzugsweise kleiner als 4 mm. Die Erfindung ist aber nicht auf eine Mehrzahl von Absaugöffnungen beschränkt. Die Absaugöffnungsanordnung kann beispielsweise auch von einer in einer Richtung quer zu dem Tabakstrom keilförmig verlaufenden Saugöffnung gebildet sein. Eine zweckmäßige Ausgestaltung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Absaugöffnungen in Form von übereinander angeordneten Reihen gebildet sind, die zur Bildung einer Stufenanordnung in der Querrichtung eine unterschiedliche Länge aufweisen. Damit kann die gewünschte Luftabsaugung ohne zusätzliche Steuerungs- und/oder Regeleinrichtung realisiert werden. Ein weiterer Vorteil liegt darin, dass ein derartig ausgebildeter Strömungskörper besonders einfach und robust ausgebildet und kostengünstig herstellbar ist.The suction opening arrangement comprises at least one suction opening.
