  • the cavities 3 of the bottom 2 are separated by panels 5 which can be provided with at least one respective rib 8 radiating; in practice, to facilitate the correct forming of the bottom 2, only one radiating rib 8 is provided in each panel 5.
  • the ribs 8 are substantially rectilinear and advantageously that they are concavity turned outwards, as shown on the Figures 1 to 3 .
  • the reinforcement of the panels 5 can be obtained by means of reliefs having other shapes (for example triangular reliefs). It is not essential that the ribs 8 extend over the entire gap between the seat 10 and the recess 4 central: in the embodiment illustrated in the accompanying figures, the ribs 8 extend only on part of the above-mentioned gap (about half of this gap in the configuration shown) and the end of the ribs 8 located radially inward is away from the central recess 4.
  • the ribs 8 may extend to the vicinity of the seat 10 or, in a variant which does not form part of the invention, they extend beyond the seat 10 and go up on the bottom of the body 9 of the container 1 as illustrated in FIG. figure 4 , the latter provision being intended to strengthen the seat 10.
  • a common application, although not exclusive of the provisions of the invention is containers of approximately cylindrical general shape of revolution such as bottles: the bottom 2 is then generally round shape as shown on the Figures 1 to 3 and in this case the cavities 3 are distributed angularly equidistantly.
