Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a radiator with an electric heating element. It may be a tubular heater, bathroom radiator, design radiator or a flat radiator.
Radiator, in particular tubular heater with a plurality of horizontal heating tubes arranged one above the other, which are connected at both ends to vertical distribution pipes, wherein supply and return are arranged at the bottom of the distribution pipes or centrally on the lowest horizontal pipe, are well known in the prior art. It is also known to arrange an electric heating element in one of the vertical distribution pipes or a horizontal heating pipe.
A radiator with an electric heating element, for example, in the
Such radiators are used in a bathroom to provide a drying option especially for towels and / or an additional heating option in the transitional period, in which the central heating system is not yet to be used.
The disadvantage here is the inertia of the heating medium, especially in a pure electric operation of the radiator in the transitional period. The radiator is thus not heated uniformly in all areas.
The object of the invention is to improve the generic known radiator to the effect that the inertia of the heating medium, in particular in pure electrical operation is overcome.
According to the invention, this object is solved by the features of
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the circulating pump is an integral part of the electric heating element. As a result, the assembly cost is kept very low, the pump is introduced simultaneously with the already existing heating element. Next eliminated by this design additional mounting holes to be introduced.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the radiator is designed as a tubular heater with a plurality of horizontal heating tubes arranged one above the other, which are connected with the ends on both sides to vertical distribution pipes. On a horizontal pipe while supply and return connections for a circulating liquid heating medium are provided and in one of the vertical distribution pipes or a horizontal heating tube of the electric heating element is arranged, wherein in a vertical distribution pipe and / or a horizontal heating tube, the circulation pump is provided.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and will be described in more detail below.
